Had my roof replaced back in 2024 for hail damage. The roofers cut corners and installed Cobra Ridge venting fiber mesh type material. If you ever get an estimate on roofing and they want to install this type of venting, immediatley find another roofer! It's a cheap ineffective option and prevents your attic from venting heat properly and can lead to long term wood or shingle damage from excessive attic heat during the summer months. Long story short, I wound up reaching out to Jose at Restoration Roofing and his crew came out to inspect my roof and the attic. They replaced the Cobra Ridge venting and were very efficient and thorough making sure everything was done correctly. We met with two other contractors before Restoration Roofing and I'm so glad we didn't settle for one of the other two companies. The first two companies used incredibly high pressure sales tactics and quoted us prices that I felt were very high. Jose was personable and genuine and gave us a very fair, competitive quote and the work was done a week after we signed the proposal! The team was punctual, friendly, and incredibly hardworking! They had to replace ALL of our wood and worked on the job all day to finish on the same day they started. They were also kind enough to pop back in some loose siding while we they were working. We were out for about two hours the next morning and they'd arrived, installed our gutters, and cleaned up and left during that time. Talk about service! A few of my smaller native plants near the gutters did take a little bit of a beating during the work and we did find a few nails in the yard a week after work, but this is just a small, expected hazard of the job in my opinion. When we bought our house several years ago we were told that we would need to replace the roof one of these days...and that day was a few weeks ago. The Restoration Roofing (RR) team was in and out in less than two days and I could not be happier. Mother nature was nice enough to dump a few inches of rain on us a few days after the job was complete to show us what a great job they did. Jose (the owner) is super personable and came out to my place himself to survey the existing roof and put together the initial quote. We had structural damage on our porch cover roofing, but his crew replaced a couple 2x4s and installed new fascia boards for that.
