This was the second winery we went to when visiting Palisade, CO. They had a nice outdoor area with views of the mesa while surrounded by the vineyards. We got a flight of the white wines - all of which were very unique. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly in explaining each of the wines to us. He was even giving us suggestions on things to do in the area. Our favorite was the resiling- we ended up getting a bottle it was so good. Overall this place had the best tasting wine out of all the wineries we went to! It was also dog friendly and had a food truck outside if you are hungry. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a chill outdoor wine day!

This vineyard was great! Stopped by on our winery tour last weekend and loved it. There was live music going on outdoors and some food trucks and booths outside to check out. Inside the staff were super nice and helped us out right away. I ordered the peach sangria outside at the tent and so glad I did. It was amazing and so refreshing. It was a group of 7 of us for a bachelorette weekend and they were so kind and let us sit upstairs In a private area for a while to get out of the heat and enjoy some wine. Everyone loved their wine choices N the sangrias.

If you only.have time to visit one winery in Palisade, visit this one! The outdoors area has a great view.of the Grand Mesa and Mt. Lincoln and Mt. Garfield. The red and white tastings had some great selections. They also had a seafood food truck...who knew you could order a hot lobster roll with real lobster meat on the Western Slope? Finally, the owner, Gary, did an amazing job serving and explaining our samples. Awesome place!

Wines were great, location has views for days and the service was amazing! They were doing one of their "Music in The Barrel" events when we were there and although we'd planned to leave earlier, we decided to stay and enjoy the fun! We were not disappointed! Definitely will be back next time I'm in that area!

The service here is SO kind. I loved their wines but they have an incredible staff here. Talking about wines, I'd say I loved their whites. Their reds were ok but the real stars are their whites!

Visiting vineyards in Grand Junction? Don't dare skip out on this one. The tasting, like most places, will be what you want it to be. Put more into it and ask appropriate questions, expect a better experience. The stand out with this Vineyard when compared to others is the beautiful outdoor seating area that is encompassed by Vineyard. Enjoy your crafted vino with a view of the mesa. Amazing. A Ma Zing.

Excellent! We found Restoration Vineyards on Yelp. It was a 5 star location based on the beautiful setting, atmosphere, friendliness, and wine. They are dog friendly too. The inside bar and serving area is small but there is plenty of room for sitting outside. We look forward to returning!

Such a great space, great wine & welcoming staff!! We rode our bikes to several wineries/vineyards in the area but this was our favorite. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the wines were great. They have a beautiful outdoor space & even had a fire going. The cherry on top was the complimentary s'mores station!!! Because it is the slower seasons they did not have the food trucks on a Sunday when we went.

Stopped by intending to do a tasting, but learned that Restoration Vineyards doesn't do tastings during Band in the Barrel events (and we didn't know what that was!). We were initially disappointed and going to leave to move on to the next winery, but so glad we didn't! We ended up enjoying the Barbera wine on the lawn until closing and had the best time listening to live music, sipping on some delicious wine, and soaking up the awesome and relaxing vibes!

Bottle on ice and music on the lawn!

We had a GREAT time here on Saturday, even though the weather was hot. Live music, food truck and a very lively atmosphere. Because of the event, they we're only serving bottles and glasses, which was fine with us since was our second stop of the day and we tasted at our first stop. We had the Albariño and it was delicious. Josephine our "wine angel" was so friendly and attentive, she definitely added to the experience. The whole staff was very welcoming. If you only have time to go to one winery, I would definitely suggest Restoration Vineyards!

This is probably my favorite winery in Palisade. Everything is absolutely perfect about this location: beautiful grounds with lots of outdoor seating space (perfect grass lawn vs gravel that most of the places have), breathtaking views, amazing wine, outstanding customer service. They can accommodate huge groups of people, and have quite a bit of different wines (specializing in dry wine) to choose from. On certain dates they also have live music. Wine tasting is $15 and if you purchase a bottle of wine, they take it down to $5 and apply $10 to your wine. I definitely recommend checking out this place!

A must-stop if you are visiting the Palisade area. We decided to opt for a wine tasting as we heard amazing things about this place and wanted the whole experience. The wine tasting comes with 6 pours (3 white, 3 red). All of the wines were delicious, but their white wines are amazing!! After the tasting- we lounged on the chairs under the nice shaded area and listened to a talented musician as we sipped on our peach Sangria. The ambiance was everything I could have hoped for - beautiful scenery, delicious wines, and staff that was as cordial as they can come. We didn't eat here, but there were two food trucks parked directly on their grounds. I more than once looked around at everyone's smiling faces thinking "This place really knows how to make people happy." I can't wait to come back to Palisade to do it all over again and try some more of their delicious wines. Put Restoration Vineyards on your list of wineries to try, you will not regret it.

Bookcliff, Vineyards…read more We found that there is a correlation between wine, lovers and dog lovers.. This is another dog friendly winery, although they will be opening up food in the tasting room, and it will cease to be available for dogs. They have a nice big gazebo outside for people to enjoy their wine. Viognier -- beautiful florals, citrus peaches notes on the nose, citrus, grapefruit. green apples, on the pallet, balanced, acidity, rich minerality with fruit. Muscat has the most beautiful nose a that can keep you smelling the aromas of lemons or for minutes before you even want to put any in your mouth. Again, nice acid and fruit balance picking up the beautiful minerality of the sedimentary rock in book cliff region. Beautiful fruit of green, apple, lemon, grapefruit. Only out sourced grape. Viognier died in 1991. So they outsource grapes to fill in the void of the white. Completely lost Cabernet Sauvignon. All the other grapes revived the next year. Albarino -- a lot different than the Albarino in Spain. So there is a little bit of seabreeze on the nose, not like in spain. . Beautiful, citrus lightly on the nose. Crisp fresh fruit , staff by nice asses on the pallet. Chardonnay-- beautiful dark, yellow color. A nice rounded citrus on the palate. Not a particularly big oak. Taste of the typical Oak because Jon put soak into teabags to give those kinds of nuances. The malolactic, fermentation, brings out a bit of butteriness. Again, high acidity balance by fruit Rosé made from cab Frank sits on the skins for an hour or two, providing a very light and orange color. Beautiful, effervescent, peachy aromas. Subtle peachy. beautiful black fruit Malbec Big lush blackberries on the palate do you know when older women have a lot to teach younger men while you're my age probably I was like older women when I was younger. I have a younger wife tell me when you get on the nose I'm gonna try the reserve. Malbec reserve, grapes, grow very close to the river, the aromas are mellow, and beautiful black fridge on the pallet. Velvety at a young age. The assets are pleasantly high because of the area of growth.Grown at hawk ridge a beautiful high minerality 2020 before the great loss of the Cabernet Sauvignon due to a winter freeze. Nice florals of roses and Cassis on the nose. $24 The ensemble This Bordeaux blend used to be a blend of Cabernet, Savignon, Merlot, Cab, Franc, and Malbec. It's beautifully emulated a Bordeaux blend. Since then they have removed the cab, Frank and it has lost that earthiness that made the blend so beautiful. It is still a lovely wine. It displays blackberries on the nose in the palate. Taste it not really I'm not picking that up. Not the chocolate I would have expected from a Merlot. It seems intentionally to be more of a New World wine that appeals to the American palate. 2022 Syrah 22.95 Just won the Governors cup as number one wine Colorado. They weren't supposed to open this, but John, the owner, said that it was good to open it for us. So Chris told me that I had to ask her to open it. Deep rich purple back. Beautiful blackberry and raspberry fruit and acids blended in such a way that they just permeate the palate twisting all around the tongue. Deeply rich. You have to try this wine. You will buy cases. We ended our tasting with a beautiful Muscato. Peaches and candied lemons on their nose. It's beautiful desert wind like the Muscato from Samos island in Greece. When you are done tasting all these wines, and you end with a Moscato, you've had the best experience of your life. Well, at least among the best.

3.5 stars. Great service, decent wine. Rosé was good, as was the sparkling rosé. Reds were ok, a…read morelittle light for the varietals, whites were good.

It has an industrial feel and is inside a warehouse, but right outside the tasting room is their winery and lots of amazing options for seating. We were one of only two parties and soon, were solo in the tasting room which offered a great opportunity to ask questions and hear more about the winery's personal history. We even spoke to one of the vintners about the blends that make up one of their newer wines. Super cool! Many of their wines are VERY easy drinking. Head's up here, this winery can be very dangerous, lol, if you are not staying in town. We took advantage of their wine flight and choose 5 wines each. Sharing a few sips here and there gave us an opportunity to try even more. I loved so many of the whites, it was hard to choose which ones we'd take with us. What I maybe appreciated most was their handy "catalog" of each wine, the notes, dryness or maybe fruitiness and what to expect when choosing it. The staff were incredible - everything you'd want when trying new thing: friendly, educational, funny and not at all in a hurry. Carlson FTW! We took 5 bottles home! Go, maybe have lunch before and plan to take in the vineyards from their outdoor space. Gorgeous experience.

I will have to say that my star rating has a big portion to do with the experience we had which could have been determined by the time we might have gone. When we had arrived there and not a soul beside us was there for tasting (all the other wineries that day had lots of people). So it was a bit odd to walk into an empty facility with a very quiet bar tender / taster lady. She wasn't much for any conversation. We had been told it was fun, the atmosphere was friendly and the owner did the tastings and made the experience fun. But we didn't experience that at all. Now the facility was beautiful and being high on the hill, it made a nice overview of the mountains and the water creaks and ponds below. Very nice outside area. The inside is also beautiful and great since it's a house I commend them for making this so homey yet professional. Unfortunately we didn't have the experience we were hoping to, and the wine wasn't one we thought that was outstanding. I don't know I would come back, but if we do we want to experience it the way were told so we might look into their busy times and see what it was like. We were just bummed for our first taste of the day.
