Holy cuteness!!! This winery came recommended to use by a women who owned a shop in downtown Palisade. She mentioned it being newer but has heard great reviews. Well I am here to confirm those reviews were right. This smaller tasting room was booming with people when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. They had a great band made u pod two older gentleman. They were rocking it out though. We ordered two bottles rose and white, chenin Blanc. Both were good but the white was the group favorite. We enjoyed the grass area with chairs (we brought our own) and a bench which was there. Highly recommend checking it out and it is not far from downtown Palisade. Close to the peach stands so kill two birds with one stone.

I was last here in 2022 just after they opened the tasting room. I met Amy, the tasting room manager. They have 3 whites and 3 reds to taste for $15. You can also get full glasses and bottles. The 2023 Chenin Blanc was springtime in a bottle. The barrel aged Chenin Blanc was aged in older French Oak barrels that provide an interesting accent. The Malbec rose tasted like strawberries. Then I got the 2022 Malbec. A great wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon was also good. My last pour was the 2022 Cabernet Franc. Another great wine. Then I got a bonus pour of a Raspberry dessert wine with locally grown raspberries. Not a true port, with only 17.5 ABV. I will be back Sunday to pickup 2 maybe 3 bottles for return to Denver. Pleasant cool space with a view of Mt Garfield and the bookcliffs. The Mt Garfield trailhead is nearby.

Amazing atmosphere! Michael was so knowledgeable and helpful when choosing our wine flights. This was our favorite location from our girls trips!

Wine storage system built over the original well on the property.

Even though it was 95°F outside, we stayed comfortable thanks to the plenty of shaded seating and outdoor misters. There are cozy chairs on the lawn where we spent quite a while enjoying our wine and the scenery. The winery is also pet-friendly both inside and outside, which was a huge plus for us. They don't serve food, but they typically have food trucks on-site. We did the tasting, which included all six wines currently available. My favorite was the White Blend, while my husband's favorite was the Red Blend. The staff was incredibly friendly. After we ordered our tasting inside, they even brought the remaining pours out to me while I was relaxing outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, Restoration Vineyards offers beautiful views, great wine, excellent service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We would absolutely visit again.

The grounds are beautiful, with lush grass, plenty of shade, and cornhole games that make it easy to relax and spend an afternoon. They also have a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is a great bonus for travelers with pets. We chose to sit inside and were fortunate to have Zander as our host. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tasting experience enjoyable. My husband and I shared a tasting flight of six one-ounce pours for $20, and the tasting fee is reduced to just $10 if you purchase a bottle. The wines were outstanding, and we ended up taking home six bottles. Everyone on the staff was warm and welcoming, and the owner, Gary, even took the time to chat with us about their winemaking process. That personal touch made an already excellent tasting even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return the next time we're in the Grand Junction area.

Late afternoon, the temperature was in the 90s and a slushie sounded good. My sis-in-law and I got the slushies. The boys both got tastings. We thought the slushies were tasty, I would get that again. The boys were not as enthusiastic about their tasting. Everything was okay, but not great. The staff is really welcoming and it is a great space. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating, being on the east side of the building, and covered has nice shade from afternoon heat. The parking lot is good sized. They had a person doing balloon animals when we arrived which I thought was an interesting choice.

The way they make the wine is different than traditional methods, so just be aware you'll try some unique stuff when you come. I really enjoyed the Chardonnay, which was very buttery as opposed to oaky. This place is cute, with ample seating! It'd be a good place for a group to visit. I enjoyed my flight, but I kept having to go up to the bar to get a new glass of wine. I wish they had an option where they gave you four glasses at once to try so you can compare/contrast in real time. I enjoyed the wine and overall I would come back on another trip.

We tried a number of different products. My favorite was probably the chocolate/strawberry mead - yum! However, as many know, the alcohol content of mead can get pretty high and I didn't want to be plastered for the entire day. Overall, I think we tried 11 different items (try their tasting flights), but in the end, I settled on a glass of the white merlot, closely beating out the red merlot that my wife ended up selecting. Given the great weather, we ended up sitting in the gazebo outside and had a lovely time. The staff is very personable and knowledgeable. As I said, the problem for me is that they have such a large selection. I would definitely have the chocolate strawberry mead again, but would probably decide to uber there so that I can have an entire bottle. I definitely recommend trying out this place.

They have a limited standard wine menu, so if you aren't into sweet wines you may have a harder time finding a ton to try, but I still enjoyed trying the fruit wines and the select red wines they had.
