Bookcliff Vineyards in Palisade, Colorado, offers an unforgettable experience. The stunning views of the surrounding landscape complement the excellent selection of wines. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, making the visit both enjoyable and educational. A must-visit for wine enthusiasts and anyone seeking a picturesque and relaxing getaway. They've got a lot of different sitting areas with an awning and outside.

Omgosh, what a wonder hidden gem. The tasting was fun, we did the wine makers choice, two whites and two reds, all four were wonderful!!! Went home with three bottles

We did the east cruiser (yellow/5 mile) and west cruiser (green/7 mile) bike loops on the fruit & wine byway and got a flight at each winery along the way. BookCliff's cab franc stole the show for me -- best wine of the day! Loved the covered outdoor space to enjoy our wine and the beautiful scenery. The women helping us were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all of the wines on the menu.

Members in BookCliff Boulder, so we are familiar with their wines and it's what brought us here. Palisade is an interesting place. You look around at the mountains and you think there is no way anything can grow out here. Somehow it produces amazing peaches, produce and evidently grapes. Because these guys do really nice wine. They have a nice new patio to sit and enjoy the tasting. Or sit out under the tree and look into the mountains and vineyards. Cool place, come visit

We went post COVID-19 re-opening so naturally the environment of every winery is different. Bookcliff has done a wonderful job keeping options for distancing and still keeping their good service. The wines were nice and we liked them enough to join the club. It's one of the best I've seen. You get to choose your own, good discounts, free tastings, % off, etc. I went back again with a friend about a month later and it was good to know they were sticking to the safety rules while still keeping up with their great attentiveness and tasty wine! I think it will evolve into an even better spot when some more permanent seating and perhaps shade/heat options like shade or heaters depending on the weather. The view is one of the best of all wineries and would be a wonderful addition to the experience.

We had such an amazing time at Bookcliff, not only the highest quality wines we tasted on our trip but also an overall amazing experience. The tasting room sits on a hill with some of the most gorgeous views in Palisade and the Malbec is a must-try. Jane was managing the tasting room the day we went and was so sweet and cheerful and had the best playlist. There is plenty of outdoor space for seating which felt very Covid-safe and they have great heated chairs. Would definitely recommend!

We tried a flight of reds for $16, and didn't like a single one! Tastings should be free.

The grounds are beautiful, with lush grass, plenty of shade, and cornhole games that make it easy to relax and spend an afternoon. They also have a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is a great bonus for travelers with pets. We chose to sit inside and were fortunate to have Zander as our host. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tasting experience enjoyable. My husband and I shared a tasting flight of six one-ounce pours for $20, and the tasting fee is reduced to just $10 if you purchase a bottle. The wines were outstanding, and we ended up taking home six bottles. Everyone on the staff was warm and welcoming, and the owner, Gary, even took the time to chat with us about their winemaking process. That personal touch made an already excellent tasting even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return the next time we're in the Grand Junction area.

All the wines we tried were delicious and their outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard was breathtaking and comfy if you wanted to lounge for a while. I wish they had a little food menu but they were gracious enough to bring us a little cheese and crackers prepacked container. However, a full menu of food would be a benefit here. The restroom was clean. This place was recommended to us by local residents and I definitely know why.

We tried a number of different products. My favorite was probably the chocolate/strawberry mead - yum! However, as many know, the alcohol content of mead can get pretty high and I didn't want to be plastered for the entire day. Overall, I think we tried 11 different items (try their tasting flights), but in the end, I settled on a glass of the white merlot, closely beating out the red merlot that my wife ended up selecting. Given the great weather, we ended up sitting in the gazebo outside and had a lovely time. The staff is very personable and knowledgeable. As I said, the problem for me is that they have such a large selection. I would definitely have the chocolate strawberry mead again, but would probably decide to uber there so that I can have an entire bottle. I definitely recommend trying out this place.
