I was told that they take my insurance but are not in network and would cost ONLY about 5% more than others. I was told what the bill would be, got the work done, they tried to upcharge even more, but I turned it down because I can't afford more. I paid the total bill and left. A few weeks later I received a bill saying my insurance didn't cover it. I called the Hillcrest office and was told that it was only an estimate. What?!!! I would not have had anything done that cost so much. I don't have the money. I ended up paying, but it happened again and again. I have paid over $8,000 in extra costs. I stopped going months ago and I still am getting unpaid insurance bills for a year ago. Not only was I over charged, but they apparently did not even send in some of the bills to the insurance. Plus, the insurance keeps turning down the ones they received saying that it was UNNECESSARY work.

A good friend of mine recommended this place, where she gets her teeth cleaned regularly. My friend highly praises the staffs here for their friendly service and flexible schedules. The receptionist Michelle is the sweetest and was really patient and understanding with all the schedule changes that I had (I canceled and rescheduled my appointment more than twice). Coming from out of town, it was difficult for me to pick a specific time of the day, but Michelle helped and squeezed me in one of the time slots that worked for me perfectly. Super awesome lady!! The Dental hygienists, Heather and Illeana are the sweetest also. I get my teeth cleaned regularly but not as often as I should (blush), and Heather did a wonderful job!! She even offered me Vaseline to put on my cracked lips that were so chapped lol. Dr. Moon, Dr. Lee and all the other staffs are very professional, willing to work with you if you have any concerns. I loved this dental practice years ago but things have changed. Now if they cancel on you they schedule you 45+ days out for a reschedule even if the cancel with less than six hours notice. They take no suggestions to leave spots open for last minute things like this so people aren't waiting even longer for their dental care. As someone with dental anxiety suddenly canceling and requiring another2-4 month wait is ridiculous. Especially when they insist I stay up to date to make cleanings easier - you're the problem. Most people have to plan their appointments with their work schedule and can't just come in on a whim. And they expect you to cater to them. This has become an unreliable practice that often has phone and scheduling issues. Look else if you want quality care and customer service.

Look, I am well aware going to the dentist it's not something people want to do. If you have a problem more than likely you're going to experience some discomfort. Richview Family Denistry does everything they can to make your visit pleasant. They do that by making their surroundings aesthetic. Their staff is courteous attentive. If you have a question ask anyone. They will be more than likely able to answer it to whatever detail you want them to go into. If not, Dr. Wall or Dr. Biggs are more than happy to put you at ease. We absolutely consider them all family. Why not, we have gone to them for almost 14 years since coming to Clarksville. I don't know how anybody could not be completely satisfied coming here. I have never had any questions or problems with payments, notifications for appointments, or with patient care. We show up for the appointment on Monday as rescheduled and are informed that we will have to pay for both visits as we are leaving the appointment. The front desk attendant did not care that they put the appointment on the books wrong and required us to pay for both visits. They told me I would be without my teeth for a week, but they didn't tell me was that when the teeth came in which they had estimated the 26th that I needed an appointment to get the teeth back the next availability was July 7 so they could assure I was happy with the fit. so this would've put me three weeks without teeth, which is just ridiculous. If it was gonna take that long. I would've went somewhere else. I did end up getting my teeth back on the 26th after calling and complaining, being hung up on, having my husband call and get hung up on so I went to the office and walked in and demanded they give my teeth back. but was told I would be dismissed from the practice. I have called with a broken tooth and having pain and first availability was over a month out. Another time I was seen and determined what was needed but due to the extreme wait time of about 3 months I ended up needing a tooth extraction. If you have to reschedule an appointment and the next availability isn't until mid summer, that's a problem. This went on the entire 4 or 5 years I went there. So last appointment when I was late b/c there was traffic in both directions I expected to be rescheduled, a little frustrating but okay, when I heard it would be late June I hung up and made an appointment somewhere else.
