This is a company that I definitely cannot recommend. They are probably excellent if you have a leaky faucet, or even if you need a garbage disposal replaced. But if you are looking for them to help with a big water leak, or do restoration work, please use another company like AllPurposeRestoration. We had what we thought was a minor water leak from the shower in the main bathroom which was warping a few boards, and I knew that we would need some restoration work to replace those boards, and I looked here on Yelp to help me find a good company, and quickly. The reviews for RHR were good, except for one lengthy one which talked about how the company had overcharged him for a lot of things, and when he complained, the owner, Mohammed Khan, blocked his phone number. Mr Khan (or just Khan as he likes to be called) answered the phone and agreed to come over that afternoon. He diagnosed the problem as a leak in the shower pan, and described in great detail what needed to be done, which was a lot more than we had thought, and when I ask him about that one review, he just said that the guy was unhappy for whatever reason and was just a complainer. Being the only negative review, I brushed it off, and that was a BIG mistake. The guy was spot on with his review. Khan's guys came out quickly, tore up most of the bathroom, including the vanity and the toilet in the adjacent toilet room. That night before going to bed I looked in the bathroom, and there was about a half inch of water covering the entire floor, leaking from one of the vanity water lines which was not properly secured and was dripping. I called Khan and he came out immediately with the crew manager and said that the valve had failed, which I thought was an AMAZING coincidence as it wasn't failing before his crew had taken the vanity out, and in the process, destroyed the 84-inch vanity. Water by then had poured into the basement. They ended up not only tearing up the bathroom completely, blaming a lot of it on the "failed" valve, and also half the basement, taking out the drywall in both places up to about 2 ft. They then brought in a lot of fans and dehumidifiers. So, to try and make a long story short, they sent the insurance company the bill for the mitigation, and an estimate for the restoration, which they said the insurance company would probably come back with slightly smaller numbers, and they would probably meet in the middle. That did not happen. RHR billed for over $66,000, and the insurance company agreed to less than $30,000, and did not budge. The adjuster I talked to, when discussing the numbers, said that the "honor" in Restore Honor Restoration was a joke. Finally, after months of back and forth, RHR finally agreed to the insurance company's number, and then it took another few months for the sub-contractor to finish the work. A lot of that delay, I'm sure, is because the sub-contractor said RHR was not paying him. I ended up paying him directly, and subtracting that from what I ended up paying RHR. All in all, we were without the use of our bathroom and basement for 187 days. I leave out a lot of the details in the interest of brevity, but I hope I have made my point. Do not use this company, or you will regret it!

The photo is of a bathroom floor with a snake down the drain where a toilet normally sits.
