If you are looking for the BEST experience with the friendliest staff, I highly recommend Dr…read more Stephen Rodes at the Canton office. Surgery is known for being over whelming and daunting...especially when managing all of the paperwork, processes etc. But Dr. Rodes' secret weapon is Carla Montgomery. I cannot say enough kind things about her. She is very patient and kind and extremely informative when managing upcoming surgeries. Her sweet demeanor and gentle voice keeps you calm and reassures you that everything will be okay in midst of the jitters and fears that typically come before an operation. She will hold your hand through the entire process and answer and any all questions you might have. She is ALWAYS available by phone and very quick to resolve any unforeseen issues. I've never been so prepared for a surgery in my life. If all of NHOI's staff were like Carla, the world would be a much better place! I highly recommend NHOI for anyone with Orthopedic issues and I recommend Carla Montgomery even more!

Why is it that EVERY time I come to this office for an appt I sit in the waiting room for 45 mins to an hour before I even get called back? It's very disrespectful of MY time. If you decide to come here no need to show up on time.

Went to see this doctor after a shoulder dislocation. After waiting 2 and a half hours past my…read moreappointment to see him, his consultation lasted no more than three minutes, during which he never even layed his hands on me. He then nonchanlantly informed me there was nothing he could do for my injury (not true as I later found out). Found the following in an online article discussing my exact injury "As with collar bone fractures, shoulder surgeons are more prepared to operate on these injuries because we have to cope with all the problems that occur if they are left! And we now have a new, and better operation, to deal with acute ACJ disruptions. In this injury the main ligaments that hold the collar-bone down onto the shoulder blade have been ruptured but, if they can be brought back into contact, then they should heal back up. To do this we pass what is effectively a mini block and tackle (Tightrope - Arthrex) through holes drilled in the two bones, and then tighten it up so pulling the bones, and therefore the ligament ends, back together." This incompetent doctor never bothered to mention this option but still felt justified in billing me $450 for the consultation and another $450 for "closed manipulation/treatment" i.e. charging me for letting my body heal, although his staff did reverse this latter charge after I complained. Now months later I experience recurrent pain in this shoulder, weakness, and limited range of motion, so if you like doctors that appear too busy or incompetent to go over treatment options with thier patients, a rude staff, and being overbilled, this office is for you.

Met with Dr Roden today and this was the most amazing offices I've ever been to. He took so much time with me and even called another specialist while I was there to talk to him about my condition to help refer me for treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an orthopaedic specialist.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Livitz as my PCP. I find her to be very knowledgeable and not quick to medicate. However, I work 5 days a week, 8-5. I am a Registered Nurse at a facility that is difficult to take time off due to being in a transitional phase. I scheduled a telemedicine appointment with Dr. Livitz. I wait an hour, called the office to confirm I had the write day and time, I did! Dr.Livitz never showed up! I should charge her for that visit since it pulled me away from work. I let it go because she sent me an apology and said she would call that evening. She never called. This never happened before. I made my yearly physical appointment. Last week I left work early to get to this appointment. My Supervisor covered my patients so that I could see her. I showed up 15 minutes early as requested. My appointment was at 2:30, I was pulled into a room at 3:00. I let the Nurse know I had to go back to work. She stated Dr.Livitz was worth the wait. I waited and waited. 3:35 and still no sign of the Dr. My time is just as valuable as Dr. Livitz. Another day pulled away from work with no visit with the Dr. Now, I am not going to tell you to go elsewhere because I have been pleased with my care. I have family who are pleased with their choice of physicians. Dr.Livitz is a great physician but, it is rude to not show up for your appointments or have someone notify the patient that you are behind schedule. If you have nothing better to do with your time, go see her. Otherwise, choose another physician. My family loves Dr. Bruni and Dr. Morris. I now have to find another physician. I am sad about this because I have not been feeling well and would have liked to discuss this. I hope this review is helpful.
