Honest mechanics! The owner isn't trying to empty your wallet to pay his light bill. He will diagnosis the issue with your car, tell you what needs fixing with no extra bs. If he can't fix it, he'll tell you upfront and recommend taking your vehicle back to the dealership. Like my car, my transmission maintenance I have to go back to my dealership because of my car model. He will help you save a buck too(but be realistic on this statement!) My service would've been $400 for the parts (this doesn't include diagnosing which is an additinal $200) at my dealership, here a little over $300 total including diagnosis coding. (screamin') I'M WINNING! Now, be patience because its first come, first serve. People will show up 1-2 hours before opening because of the excellent service you'll receive at Resurrected Auto. Google Review Alright, gather 'round folks, for I'm about to unveil the hidden gem in the world of auto repair services. Enter: Resurrected Auto, the only shop that would make you wish your car broke down more often. No, I'm not joking. So, here I was, my tire damaged (thanks to a car wash gone rogue - but that's a tale for another day), desperately needing an inspection, when I stumbled upon Resurrected Auto. And as fate would have it, they were only a stone's throw away from my place (goodbye, tow charges). The response was prompt to my wordy voicemail and text to the business. It's a walk-in place, and though I feared a long line on a Friday morning, it was surprisingly relaxed. The man of the hour, Samuel, was the epitome of kindness and knowledge. And even before I could dive into my car problems, two uninvited testimonials from his customers had me reassured that I was at the right place. Samuel was upfront about what he could and couldn't do, but he didn't stop at just pointing out the problems. He directed me to a fantastic tire shop, who fixed my tire in just TEN minutes (yup, you read that right), replacing a valve stem without trying to sell me a new set of tires I didn't need. All this under 20 bucks! Returning to Resurrected, Samuel not only ordered a new part for my car (despite possibly not being able to install it), but also finished my inspection and oil change within a couple of hours. Did I mention I drive a Volvo? A car brand that other shops approach with more caution than a ticking bomb. Not here, though. In short, I couldn't recommend Samuel and Resurrected Auto more. This is a shop that not just meets, but exceeds expectations. You'd think he should be featured on FYI Philly for how he runs his business. I know where I'll be heading the next time my car decides to have a hiccup. To Samuel and the team at Resurrected, my sincerest gratitude. You turned a couple of rough weeks into a pleasant memory. Great for annual inspections. First come first served. In and out quickly. Reasonably priced too.

I've brought my car here a few times and always have had great service. I get an explanation of what may be wrong with my car in terms that are understandable and they are reasonable priced. I have yet to feel like I'm being taken advantage of when I bring in my car. The owner and his staff have been nothing but kind and very helpful. read more

They don't have the updated hours on their wed site; they are now saying they are only open 8am- 4pm weekdays and 8- 2pm Saturdays. The guy on the phone says they charge $50 a day for storage fee if cars aren't able to get worked on and need to keep it on sight... (what garage charges owners to have their cars there??) (scam). And they won't let you drop off your car before their doors open. Sorry you lost a customer, the hours and flexibility are not good. read more

I just moved to Philly and I needed to get my registration and inspection. I did a lot of research and online it mentioned that I needed a VIN tracing or a mechanic to sign a photo of the VIN. I asked him (admittedly as a favor) to sign the picture of the VIN and then I would be back to get the inspection. Instead he told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and I needed some other official "VIN Verification" form. He assured me he had been doing this for 20 years, and he knew how it worked. He charged me $42 for the form which amounted to him writing down the vin and signing the form. It was a 30 second job for him. I got to the registration office and discovered that I didn't need either. This place just made $42 on my ignorance, but I won't be back. Too bad, I live around the corner. read more

Went here to get my safety inspection sticker and had the pleasure of working with Sam the owner. Was not sure we wanted to go here but after looking at the reviews and visiting the place prior we thought it was the best choice and boy were we right.Not only did we get a proper inspection but Sam had us laughing from walking in the door to walking out. Although I thought I prepared well by bring my information Such as insurance and registration I had the wrong papers but Sam helped us out by directing us on how to get our official papers all with a great attitude. I did my annual state inspection here for the second time. At other places I have to wait at least an hour or two for a simple sticker but here it was super fast. I was in and out during lunch. I found this place on Google where they had 180+ reviews and a 4.9 star rating, I took the risk of checking them out, and now I am going back every time for annual inspection and will go for other car needs that come up. I also recommended it to all my friends. This shop has great service and very fast. It's a family business and the owner is here in person, which is always a great thing! I found this shop online and after reading the reviews, I decided to try it out. I needed my state inspection completed for my car. I walked up just after 8am, the staff was very pleasant as they greeted me. Sam is the owner and was wonderful. He took my car right away and told me it would be completed in thirty minutes maximum. I was given the option to wait or stay, depending on what was best for me. I decided to come back at the 30 minute mark. My car was completed before 9am. The price was also very reasonable. Sam made a recommendation based on my brakes being worn down, but did not pressure me into doing anything that day. He gave me and estimate on the spot on how much the repair would be should I decide to go through with it. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for the respect I felt using this company. My time was respected. My money was respected. My car was respected. And lastly, I was respected. I will be making this my new go-to shop for all of my auto needs! read more

I've been going to Sam for a few years now. He is inexpensive, very knowledgeable and an all around good guy. He does very thorough inspections without tipping you off like many shops do. He does inspections for $60cash/$65 credit and it's never a hassle. He's open all day and on Saturdays allowing him to provide convenient service no matter your schedule.
