I brought in a '99 HD Super Glide Sport to have some maintenance done, as well as many wear and tear parts replaced. This bike was fast, super fun to ride, and was passed down by my dad to me. He was the original owner. To make a long story short, the bike I brought in was a sports car, and what I got back was a Toyota Prius. I spent over $2,000, mostly in labor, to have them replace worn parts and do the overall maintenance on my bike. I was patient as they spent several MONTHS trying to get it to "run right" by messing around with the carburetor. I finally got the call on August 15, 2024, that it's ready to roll. I went in and picked it up on August 22. Let me tell you, it was the most disappointing ride home of my life. I almost wanted to turn around and go right back to the shop because of how underpowered my bike had become. It felt like I was riding a moped. Every single gear has been completely botched. The bike has absolutely no power. I'm not confident that I could even take the bike on the freeway; that's how bad it performs. Naturally, I called back the very next day (8/23) and explained my frustrations about how the bike I brought in is worse than the bike I got back. I was told that if I brought it back, I'd have to pay another $800+ to have even MORE work done on it to try and correct the mistake that this shop made. Even then, they couldn't guarantee that it would be fixed. Is this truly how you do business in 2024? If so, I would highly recommend staying away from this shop. My bike was there for far too long, and for what? To run like a gas-powered scooter? Absolute insanity. At least own up to your mistake and get my bike right (however long that takes) without making me pay for it. If I had known that my bike would have ended up like this, I would have never brought it by in the first place. Additionally, I've noticed that this business only responds to positive reviews and ignores the negative ones. This is very telling of how they handle customer complaints and issues.

It started second kick and sounds awesome!…read more I was nervous about being able to find a good mechanic when I blew up my KTM 525 last month, it seemed that every shop did motorcycles and small engines, and I don't want my motorcycle being taken apart next to a lawn mower. I was relieved when I found Proven Moto, because at the very least Matt had the experience to properly repair my engine. Proven Moto exceeded all my expectations. They were very accommodating on price, time frame, and everything. Matt gave me a couple different options in different price ranges for my rebuild; Chelsea was great about keeping me updated on how things were going. I don't recommend blowing your bike up, but if you do, take it to Proven Moto!

Paid 200 for him to tell me he doesn't do refunds and before hand tell me his business burned down in another state. If you cannot offer a service why would you say you can take someone else's money for reservation of appointment. I have photos with geo tag saying the burn down happened before my appointment. If you needed money to rebuild your business then just say so and be honest instead of leading people on and continually pushing out their appointment dates. While then allowing the customer know that you do NOT offer refunds for 200$ reservations. At 3 stars until he shows up and does what I paid for almost 2 weeks ago
