It's always been a dream of ours to purchase a vehicle and convert it to an RV so we could have everything exactly how we wanted, and Colin at Retro Odyssey absolutely helped us turn that dream into reality! When we found ourselves with the opportunity to purchase an ex-wine tour bus, we knew we'd need help building out the inside. When we found Retro Odyssey, it seemed Colin was just as excited as we were to turn the big white beast into something cool, and sure enough, we now have a totally custom RV with a kitchen that's nicer than ours at home, and everything in the exact place we need it. Not only was Colin willing to work with our budget, he went above and beyond to proactively help us make sure we would have all the comforts of home while we ventured to the great outdoors. Colin's frequent progress photos inspired us to launch an instagram page documenting the bus's transformation and showed us that other people loved the idea and the formation of our bus as well. We have taken our little home away from home on 3 camping trips so far, and with Colin's design, we haven't missed anything!

We have a beautiful 1968 Airstream - and Colin has been wonderful about helping us to get all of the systems working. He helped us select and install a new furnace - building a set of custom drawers that perfectly matched the rest of the decor in the area freed up by the smaller furnace. He's also helped big time with our plumbing system, fix a water tank leak, and a bunch of other small stuff. Colin is a really great person to work with - kind, friendly, and courteous. I'm hoping that he will help us design and install a new floor next.

Here's penny my pretty little girl.

Colin was even was willing to help us out with diagnosing issues that had nothing to do with his work on the trailer!

Alright.. nearly two years ago friend of ours with an airstream recommended Bear Trailersports to…read morefix some major towing components of our gutted airstream... So... we had our axles, electrical, brakes, hitch, etc replaced... Or so we thought. They gave up on subfloor as it just needed too much work (also that plywood was way too thin) We knew it needed more fixes and Vic explained that to us. However.. flash forward ... We had a reputable company redo everything... fix it to where we never have to be plugged in.... and they commented that while they did "rebuild" not replace axles, they left the shock absorbers (rusted and 60 years old) in... Also, the torque is way off... 2 years ago...the axles that were rebuilt were taken a part.... It takes maybe an hour to do the shocks... Not sure why that was done that way... And it is costing us way more to fix now.... So... 3 stars because we got what we paid for. Minus 2 stars because of above mentioned work. Had we known, we'd be okay with it... It's just one of those things you don't notice until you are towing and wondering why trailer is bouncing more than it should, because ... We paid for new axles and never asked the chassis company to inspect it until now.... Most people would lose their minds and file a complaint with the BAR. I'm just going to assume that Vic is a super nice guy and some employee thought the old shocks were good enough to use since the trailer was empty... I hope in the future they plan for these things. It's just disappointing.

Hands down the best trailer company in so cal. From build quality to customer service. The owner of…read morethe business is up front and very easy to work with. His crew is great as well. His employee Eric is awesome. Trust them with your trailer!
