Replaced wood and removed stained carpet

Professional. Reliable. Knowledgeable, Beyond capable. Friendly Practical I am beyond pleased with the work Filiberto (and his wife) did to fix our upper cab. Filiberto is my RV repair man! Make him yours ~~ We have a 1999 Minnie Winnie RV with water damage in the upper bunk. The location of this issue was the bunk the is positioned over the engine. Also called the upper cap I called 5 different service providers and got various quotes based on my description and video. https://youtu.be/GeVj3E7cpd8?si=4obS2eNdJFgFVjDF Here is what I was told by the earlier fixers... 1. We don't that kind of work because it's not worth the effort 2. You will have to fully remove the upper cabin so we can fix it 3. that's not worth fixing. Sell the RV. 4.You should replace the upper cabin with a window less version, then you won't have to worry about leaks. 5.This is a week long job (and they quoted $$$$$, insanity) Needless to say, I was getting discouraged, and on the verge of selling. The reviews were good, and Filiberto picked up immediately when I called. We set up a time to have him see the RV. Here is what I liked about Filiberto's process... He was practical. (None of this, we have to remove the cabin from the body) He was confident (I can fix this) He did NOT give me fluff (I could find more damage and I'll have to charge your WAAAY more)... He charged me fair (And didn't over charge) He brought help (He finished in 1 day) He took breaks (I prefer it when people know to take care of themselves and not work too hard that they make mistakes as they tire. A pro doesn't rush) He had all the equipment he needed (He has a work van with every item imaginable He didn't need us to tell him what to do... He was a pro and got started right away He is smart (The materials he chose will last a long time, AND will be easier to clean. He also set up a support structure under the cabin as he worked) He is thoughtful (Instead of repairing just the damaged, he did a full replacement so the structural integrity would be robust, stronger, and durable for a longer amount of time) He was on time... And actually early, and very polite about it. Most impressive of all, he worked in the crazy valley heat to repair this for us We chatted and he told me about his career an experience with materials and hands on RV repair (25 years). He decided to go on his own. Oh, and after I told him I would hire him, he fit us into his schedule the same week.

I do not even know where to begin.. Colin (& Julia) are just simply amazing! They really saw our…read morevision of what 24 ft of living space could really be... He transformed a failed DIY attempt/ neglected nearly 60 year old airstream into what our children call the "first class" off grid camping experience that can comfortably sleep 6 with the pet... He put the materials to test to make sure it can withstand our crew (note we have boys & a high energy terrier) ... the dinette fits us all & transforms to a king size bed at night... This rig has turned out to be an oasis that we all just want to be in all the time. Colin is a master mind.. we found him on a decade old airstream forum that someone said he really knows his stuff & Julia does all of the coordinating... She deserves a shout out as well! Colin noticed everything from rusted out chassis to making sure that our windows could be blacked out as we have a very light sleeper in our family. Colin was even was willing to help us out with diagnosing issues that had nothing to do with his work on the trailer! He redid EVERYTHING from frame to solar panels...Even hand welded the rivets...note this takes a substantial amount of time to do.. so this project took nearly 2 years to complete & we knew what we were getting into with the cost for a project of this size... So many quotes that we got were half the amount of detail and they really seemed like they were going to rush it/ charge a small fortune pointlessly with a lot of unknowns that left us feeling uneasy about it ... We didn't want something like that, so we kept looking and looking until we found the right person for the job. You cannot find a better & more qualified person for your airstream. With that... any person who knows airsteams, knows that we airstream people are very particular about the detail put into our curved walls, especially those that are vintage... They just don't make them like they used to. We are so happy with the renovation result and we highly recommend them for your complex job! If you want it accurately restored to the era, they can definitely get it done :) If you are like we are and value the time & thoughtfulness put into a job well done, these are by far the people for you. We will be back when the kids grow for the remodel to fit our retired life needs (assuming Colin is still up for another challenge at that time) They are truly gems!

A few Considerations before you email him based on my experience. 1) You get what you pay for. Colin is not cheap but to be honest with the level and quality of his work he could be charging even more. He was great when walking me through what was needed for safety and items of repair that could wait a season or two if you're on a tighter budget. No pressure to upsell and made the whole process easy. 2) Keyword is "Retro" - If you have a repair for a never RV/van I would highly recommend you look elsewhere as Colin specializes in Retro/VINTAGE RV's. I'm sure he can repair the newer ones but he shines with anything pre- 1990's. 3) Use email - Colin works most of the time from mobile or in his shop and is hard to reach on the phone. Use his email to give him as much detail as possible on your repair. This helped me as I was able to see the breakdown of what was needed and I was able to keep them for my records on future repairs. Thank you Colin for all the work you have done to the Tiger, can't wait to start the next phase of restorations with you!

Not the kind of problem you want to deal with on a trip. I called Nick and he responded right away. He made time to come out the same day. He diagnosed the issue quickly and knew exactly what was wrong. The automatic transfer switch had failed. Instead of delaying the repair, he tracked down the part himself, picked it up, and came back to install it. That level of effort matters when you are on a tight timeline. The repair was clean and professional. Power was restored and my entire weekend was back on track. What could have been a ruined trip turned into a great one. He did not stop there. He worked through the warranty process and made sure the repair was covered. I ended up fully reimbursed by the manufacturer. That saved me money and a lot of hassle. Nick goes above and beyond. He is responsive, knowledgeable, and committed to taking care of his customers. If you need mobile RV service, this is the guy to call. Nick if you see this, I truly apologize for such a late review. My mother in law stills talks about how nice you were and was happy that you stayed for a meal with us!

I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend them for any trailer brake installation or trailer repair. I'm extremely happy with the quality of their work. Thank you!
