I asked about inspection on the coach he told me they will find something wrong he was wright they did. Tech went through coach entrance steps would not retract batteries were dead the tech had to jump the coach to test everything.Major problem was leaking roof soft spots on coach roof . I purchased a 2000 Monaco Dynasty, after my divorce finalized and I knew it was time to leave California to Idaho. I was going to be living full time and this was my first motorhome. I have been traveling in the Monaco for the last 6 months, and the coach performs flawlessly. When I purchased the motorhome from Frank, he told me "you could drive this today to Alaska"..... he was correct. Terrible experience with Frank Gould. Drove 640 miles round trip to see a 2004 phaeton that was represented as older with a few flaws but still a nice rig. Windshield had crack through the entire windshield. needed 4 new batteries refrigerator didn't work and was missing all of the produce bins and the light. coach smelled like dirt and mold. toilet was broken. power awning over door did not work. outside of coach was aged but this was expected. at this point we didn't even continue our examination of the coach. the motor ran strong and the generator fired up and ran other than that this coach is a complete for parts only rig. read more

Frankie is both fair and honest. He has the best prices and is a good businessman while also being very personable. He made sure that the RV we purchased was available for pick-up on Christmas Eve since he knew we needed it to visit family safely over the holidays during Covid. Keep in mind that you are buying used. I believe that if Frankie knows that there is a safety issue, he will take care of it. Do not deal with this guy frank. I was trying to buy a trailer he advertised. He only wanted cash. No check or card. He said he had title in hand. I drove 9 hours to go get it. When I got there he said he didn't have the title. That the bank had it. This is after we have been communicating for a week. If you deal with him make sure he sends pictures of everything he has before you go. I will adjust this post if he keeps his word I am adjusting the post now because Frank kept his word. Had to go down to Los Angeles 2 times to get it that's was the only draw back. Got title and all paper work for the trailer. read more

Don't waste your time unless you're looking to buy something you will need to totally refurbish on your own dime. I should have taken more pictures, but I was not intending to write a review. Trailer was listed as everything working and ready to go. I called before going down and asked if the roof was in good shape, caulking okay, everything works, etc. I was told the only thing wrong was a small tear in the floor. The trailer was trashed! Roof needed a new membrane, most of the caulk was missing, evidence of water leaks throughout the whole trailer. Bulge in wall on drivers side. Blowout damage, frayed wiring to lights and breaks. Homebrew "splice" with electrical tape for the 7 way plug. All 7 tires were over 6 years old and dry rotted. When all this was brought to his attention, he told me tires are $85 each. Guess he makes money preying on people buying their first RV and don't know what they need to look at. Total scumbag. read more

Not my style of RV buying. The prices are great to decent. The coaches are generally gone through when they get them, redoing the roof caulking, batteries if they need it, tune-up, etc. Yet, even with the TLC, neither coach I looked at wowed me, perhaps it was just the whole buying experience that was a turn off. Frank, while "down to earth", is also abrupt, curt, and aggressive. A "New York" attitude. He gives off the vibe that he's so busy selling RVs that he's doing you a favor showing you one. I understand he may be busy selling RVs all day long, but asking "You ready to buy, you got cash?" before showing an RV is a bit over the top. He wouldn't let me drive it, only ride in passenger seat, and he wouldn't go on the freeway instead going 60mph down the street. He should hire a salesperson that has some people skills, then he might sell twice as many coaches "all day long". I bought a different RV the next day from a private party. I would say the RV deals are 4 to 5 star value, Frank's attitude is 1 star. read more

Saw a motorhome we were interested in on their website. Husband called on June 17, 2021 and had to leave a message. Called before they were to close at 5pm. He called today, June 18, almost 23 hours after his previous call. My husband told the man that answered that he had called and left a message yesterday regarding the motorhome we were interested in. Wow! Frankie and his crew are the BEST!! I've been searching for my RV for almost a year. They were SO friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Kenny, his mechanic is amazing, these guys are all so nice. Frankie is quite the character too, always had a smile, but he is a business man and did not mess around. They took so much time to show me EVERYTHING, and believe me I had a LOT of questions. I have never owned or even driven an RV before. They took the time show me everything, and they even made sure I could drive it, before I left!!!! Gave me lots of pointers and tips. Not only did I find the PERFECT RV, I have made friends and I know I have 'Go to Peeps' if I ever need help or have more questions. The price was great, and even after I bought it and took it home, they still have my back. I've reached out to them a few times since and they have responded and been helpful. I don't even know where to start with the top-notch quality, service, and blessing of this place. I have a church organization that does charity for our folks experiencing homelessness, and needed to get crowd-funded RV for two incredible Franciscan brothers living in the streets of WLA when their car (their only home) died. I compared prices on used mobile homes with other RV dealers in the area -- and Frank's are just hands-down the best. Plus, I needed a relatively small one (driveable and parkable) since this is an urban setting. VOILA! Public Wholesale RV had the exact model I needed, for a ridiculously low price and in tremendously good condition. Frank is an angel, despite his hilariously rough exterior - the man has a heart of gold, as does his whole crew. And then there's the door-opening cat named Tyson - who is a whole story in himself. So -- I got the perfect RV for cheap. The Franciscans and I all got a tour of how to use the thing from top to bottom. The roof had been re-done before big rains here - so no leaks for at least a year, maybe two. Frank told us what to watch out for (with respect to the roof and maintenance), how to make careful turns driving a giant shoebox, how to take care of the generator and elecricity, and all the rest. Note: he only takes cash. That's important to realize when you go to his place, intending to buy. We are all so so so happy, I don't even know what to say. Let this be a warning. Do not buy an r.v. from this man. He sold me a complete disasterous danger to me, and the surrounding driving public. Safety issues ignored, full knowing and selling this to me. Seat permanantly swiveled, wipers didnt work, etc. Etc. Scary drive to wa. Speedo read slow, which mskes me believe speedo was messed with. It wasn't the worst experience of my life, but very distant from the best. Frank gave me directions to his place knowing I wanted to look at the tent trailers. I arrived and he told me I had to go to the lot where those trailers are stored. "It's a half a block away." Famous last words. It was almost a mile away, had to drive, and once there was taken to a vacant lot down a dirt driveway behind a small apartment complex. The trailers were dirty and not properly set up for display. The roofs of two of the three trailers were not extended correctly. The prop rods to hold up the beds were not installed correctly. The doors were not fastened correctly and the many of the buckles to hold the doors in place were broken. Frank didn't go with me to the site, but instead had an employee help me. That employee didn't know the prices and had no power to negotiate. Frank stopped by for about two minutes to ask which one I was interested in. I was leaning toward the Jayco that had "never been used." Then he left. I had to walk up to him, extend my hand and introduce myself. The trailer they advertised as having never been used had obviously been used. Dust on the inlets of the AC unit, stains on the mattress covers, rust in the sink drain that leads to the outside of the trailer, propane bottle mounting bolt missing, wiring from battery to trailer jerry rigged, a tear (repaired...but not very well) in one of the window screens, stains on the stove indicating a camper had boiled something over and hadn't cleaned it, et cetera. Despite all that, I wanted the trailer, but not at his inflated price of nearly $2,000 above N.A.D.A. average retail. He was asking $6,500 and NADA said average retail was $4,800. I called and made a reasonable offer of $4,500 and he not only declined my offer (he said his price was not negotiable), but told me he was sure that because of the season (spring) he would sell that trailer at that price, especially since it was brand new and never used. This review is being typed in mid-May 2017. The trailer was manufactured in March, 2017 and had obviously been used. I'm finding that these RV dealers are earning the reputation of used car salesmen of ages past. read more
