I loved all of the plants, planters, soaps, candles, and other gadgets and gizmos aplenty. I ended up leaving with some cool cards that were made by the owner of the store! I love them. Their card selection is unique, so be sure to stop in if you're on the hunt for the perfect card. I was greeted when I came in and I was allowed to lounge in peace. The sales associate was available to answer questions I had about the cards. Cute spot with great gifts!

I was just in the store 12/1 looking for a Christmas ornament and was excited to find a gift for my…read morepartner. While looking, I noticed that no one greeted me, no one asked if I needed help with anything. Yet, several people around me were asked and they all happened to be white, or look white at least. As a person of color, I couldn't help but feel that this was done on purpose. I even stood next to the jewelry which is right next to the cashier and nothing. I still bought the item and left. Ultimately, I decide to come back a few minutes later to return it. This didn't feel right at all. I wanted to give them my feedback in the moment but decided to call after I left. As a brown male amongst all white woman, it just didn't seem like the best idea. I want to say that this wasn't on purpose but it's hard not to take it that way. I will never shop at this place again!

If you're shopping for a gift, you can't really go wrong here. I stopped by recently on a Friday after playing pickleball at Delridge CC. We'd moved into a bigger home and had been shopping for unfussy outdoor furniture. I love the aesthetic of Fermob bistro set, and when I saw this store carried more Fermob items, I decided to pay a visit. The store is filled to the brim with charming items you'd want to take home, including some apparel, jewelry and bags. I went back the next day with my partner, and we bought some outdoor rocking chairs, a loveseat and some side tables, as well as a cozy alpaca blanket to use in our yard. They were having their 20% off anniversary sale June 8-, so I feel very happy about the shopping on Saturday. The reason I say "maybe" to the "would you recommend?" question has to do with my personal experience on Friday, when there were fewer (2?) employees and also fewer (2) customers in the store. Make of it what you will. As a POC and someone who walked in there in some athleisure getup with no purse (just the phone), I felt like some of the staff may judge a book by its cover. I obviously seemed interested in the furniture, tried sitting on them, curiously took photos of them to show my husband, but until I took the initiative to say hi, the employees acted like they wouldn't have any time to spare for me (2 employees talking to a white lady, 2 customers). I purchased 2 sets of Graf Lantz coasters and a bag that day. I was asked if I was in their system/reward program, but at no time was I asked to be added to the system. Also: I only found out about the anniversary sale starting the next day, because I overheard them telling the other customer and asked about it. (If I hadn't overheard, they might have lost a $3K sale.) Only after I went back with my (white) husband in a better outfit, I feel like I got more eager help. Again this was just my personal experience on a particular day, so your experience would of course vary depending on your/store's circumstances. It wasn't an overt profiling, but more like a series of small subconscious (or conscious) choices out of habit. To a person who's experienced this kind of dismissive behaviors from many a storekeeper, it may seem more like micro aggression. On the positive note, after my bigger purchase, I earned enough points to get a $100 discount! I feel like this is a pretty good reward program. I wish I could figure out a way to use this discount online/have things delivered, since I don't live close to the store.

I have followed Susan for at least two decades, and this shop is a grand treasure trove of all…read morethings antique, vintage and beyond. Susan has always had an individual point of view, which happens to correlate with mine. Her pieces are handpicked and this shop, in my opinion, is one of the very few (2) places in Seattle where you may find antiques and vintage items, not junk. Her asking prices may be a little high, but one-of-a-kind and European items usually are.

Because while almost everything here is truly vintage, it feels like you could take it home and put it right to use, particularly if you are inspired by the cottage meets vintage vibe. Well curated, well stocked, and put together with a great eye, this is a nice buttoned up and traditional juxtaposition to the more modern, industrial, dust-bowl sideshow inspired Kirk Albert next door. What a fun place to walk around, browse and get inspired! In particular, they have great mirrors and unique ornate frames here, that are in really excellent condition. Why buy new, when you can buy something with history and real character to enhance your living space?

A few months ago I was in dire need for furniture and what not, to furnish my new apartment....even…read morethough it wasn't that big....I wanted to make use of every foot of it in the best suitable way...and on a budget of only $500. I forget who referred me to this place, but I thought I would have a look for myself, and I'm so glad that I did, for I came away with more than what I expected...and within my budget. I purchased a very awesome marble topped dresser, an antique storage locker of which someone along the way made a wrought iron raised support for it, a very nifty little end stand, a mid-size real Italian leather couch( tags still attached to the underside informed me of this...genuine, yes ), an oval coffee table w/glass top cut to fit...made of mahogany & cherry , and a very nice and modern full size table lamp which I got for a friend of mine. I am more than pleased that I was able to give my new home the look I desired, not to mention that all of the furniture was delivered on the day and time agreed upon....still part of my $500 budget. The individual that made all this happen was truly patient with me and none the less acted professional, while caring for my particular needs, Shawn.
