Family owned deli! We were visiting family in Port St. Lucie, decided to stop here for lunch. Sandwiches were very good, and staff were super friendly! They make their roast-beef in house, and it was delicious. My husband got the hot roast beef sandwich and I got a cold one with Swiss mayo lettuce salt and pepper. Staff seems friendly & attentive. Only have taken food to go but the people eating in seem to enjoy it. Have never waited long for my order. There's a lot of merchandise & clutter on the left side that looks dirty & unappealing. Their foods in the cases look fresh. Food quality is quite good. Seems to be done with care. Unfortunately their prices are a bit too high now for sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. with the prices as much as an entree elsewhere. Erin our waitress is an amazing young woman. She explained how to order should you not want a sandwich you order a platter. Works hard remains friendly and is happy to serve her guests. Hubby had the tuna melt basket came with fries and I had a chefs salad with cucumber and tomato salad and olive salad. Got there for late lunch. Very quiet at that time of day. The roast beef was sliced very thin..was wonderfully seasoned and very tender. The delicious gravy piled on top of the meat makes it a sloppy good sandwich. Do yourself a favor and order an extra side of gravy to dip your sandwich in after every bite....It is that good and tastes great with fries. We also ordered cheese sticks. Good but not a bargain. Went here for first time today and got their version of a Philly. It was delicious (they add gravy to it which is awesome). It was however 10.95$ and rather small for that price (compared to say Jersey Mikes or even Subways sizes). It also doesn't include any sides- fries are 4$, and drinks are 3$- so for one person not including tip you're looking at 18$. Imma give this a 5 star review because the food was high quality and the staff was friendly and prompt! HOWEVER, this review is completely subjective to the way we enjoy our food! I ordered the Tuna Melt with no Tomatoes and my boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. My sandwich was delicious but man when they put onions on, they put them onions on. If you don't LOVE onions, make sure you ask them to go easy on it. Other than that, this sandwich was damn near perfect. (EDIT: My boyfriend informed me he ordered pickles on his sandwich. I'm not sure why. But he did lol so take this as advise not to put pickles on buffalo chicken sandwiches) The buffalo sandwich was a bit different, but still high quality food! The chicken was good, the bread was good, etc, but they put pickles on it? Which kind of ruined it for us? The vinegar taste threw us off from that kind of smokey savory taste of the buffalo sauce. BUT, I'm sure there are people that would enjoy the combo so I'm not faulting them for it because again, all ingredients were high quality and fresh and cooked wonderfully! Fries were deliciously crispy steak fries but we also like a bit more salt so we added salt and I always add pepper to my fries anyways. All in all, highly recommend checking it out! read more

My fiancé and his work crew clean the plaza windows and always talks about how busy it is. We lived in West Palm for over 12 years, however just moved up to the Stuart area. Being from New Jersey, it's VERY HARD to find a Delicious Juicy Cheesesteak here in Florida like back home, but boy did they SURPRISE US !!! Absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD! I love shakras and have been a loyal customer for 30 years , today when we arrived we were told by a woman there that they were closed , I asked "why ? Did something happen ?? " she said " No - we close at 4 - the door should have been locked "it was 3:15 ! Other people we filtering in as well / we saw everyone flatly turned away .
