The food was good but standard, nothing amazing, they have a nice full bar (just okay cocktails and passable wine list). The atmosphere was great, the live music was fine (usually not a fan especially if it's too loud), it happened to be ladies night so there was a free small app for me. Sat at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive. We ordered the mussels, roasted beet salad, and double pork chop for dinner. Mussels were good, beets were not very tender and there needs to be some acid added to the dish, and the pork chop was good as well. I'll definitely be back! read more

First time eating here, came from a recommendation from a friend. We LOVED it! The place is clean, modern and locally owned. We had the salmon, muscles, and fries. Drinks were delightful. In our opinion the food here is much better than Seed. Will be dreaming about this salmon for a while!!! Melted in your mouth! (I wish I would have taken a pic). I stopped at Reunion for something small before I headed back to my side of town. Unfortunately, Reunion didn't have any appetizers that I wanted so I ended up ordering the steak frites entree with a shareable side of brussels sprouts and a cosmopolitan. The cosmopolitan was a bit on the tart side so the bartender added a pour of Cointreau ($2.50 up charge *sigh*) which balanced it out. It was so good though that I wish that I could have had two! I ordered the steak medium and it came out more medium well. But it was seasoned well and it's served with a side of gravy and gravy makes everything taste better. (Overcooking might be an issue as two people who ordered salmon also said that it was overcooked.) The fries were good and the brussels sprouts were okay. The food wasn't awful but it also wasn't worth the price point. The service was good. I was greeted by a friendly person and served by a friendly bartender. The bartender checked on me regularly and kept my water glass filled, and that's enough for me. Parking is plentiful because it's in a strip, and they have weekday specials such as discounted wine and free appetizers. I sat at the bar and other bar patrons were chatty and relaxed. If I lived in the area, I would stop by for a drink or two at the bar, but at $34 for overcooked steak, it wouldn't be my first pick for dinner. read more

The "coming soon" sign has been up for months and we have been eagerly waiting to see/hear more about the new place in the area. Opening day was April 2nd. We dined there on the 12th. The food was (mostly) excellent although I think they are still working thru some new-business-kinks. The place, ambiance, and location: Nicely done. Cool vintage lights. Nice bar area. Glassed-in outdoor patio. Great date night vibe. No issues with parking. Probably need a reservation once they get going (we used Open Table) Service: A little slow. But expected for a brand new place Food: Mostly excellent - the mains were delicious. Dessert was also delicious. The sides needed a little more flavor (except the Brussels sprouts, which were amazing!) For now - 4 stars. I will definitely try it again. Hopefully when the kinks get ironed out, it will earn that 5th star from me. read more

The folks over at Reunion couldn't be any sweeter or more accommodating! We walked in, family of five, for a casual celebration. We were greeted by Christopher- who took the best care of us! He even made sure to give us a lot of napkins to ensure red pasta wouldn't get on my white dress. The food was delicious, and there was a fun bingo game being played. I loved the decor. Being a person who throughly enjoys sampling restaurants, I was looking forward to trying this one but from the start the visit was rocky. The wine list. Small and unimpressive. The first two different wines we selected were "out of stock due to a distribution issue." On a Friday night, with the weekend looming, and a small selection to begin with, shouldn't the management try to find another source for these obviously popular wines? Try two or three cases from a liquor store. We ordered the Spinach dip to start which we all agreed wasn't good. The spinach tasted as if it had been frozen for some time. To the restaurants credit they removed it from our bill. My dining companions both ordered the Mussels and reported they were rubbery. Additionally, the accompanying bread was harder than most rocks. I ordered the Salmon which was edible but bland. It was served on a cedar plank. Didn't this trend go out in the 90's? The bar was packed with a band playing so loudly my Apple Watch gave me notifications the environment was too loud. The service was attentive but spotty. When the bill came we had been over changed and addressed this with the waiter who took care of the issue. The experience was quite disappointing. I wanted to love Reunion...I really did We went on a date night... our reservations were for 7pm but we got there about 6:15pm (yes early). Food wise nothing jumped out at me..I ended up getting the tartar app and Brussels My husband got the chicken piccata like meal. Overall decent but not decadent or special. First time to Reunion and will be back for sure. Had a reservation on the later side, and was concerned we would be rushed - not at all. Our server was gracious and fun and the food was prompt and delicious! We were three ladies with the appetite of four, order three apps and two meals to split. Got a great sampling of food offered and it was all beautifully prepared and tasted great. We had wine and cocktails - fun! Even the crowd was lively for that hour on a Wednesday! We've eaten here twice now, once early in their opening and once in December. Everything was fine, but just fine, and for the price that wasn't good enough. They have a focus on cocktails so their wine offerings are grocery-store standards, uninteresting. I'd say skip it and go to Seed instead. read more

We went to reunion to see Kurt Thomas sing but I was pleasantly surprised how nice the restaurant was! Aesthetically it is bright and open. The food was really above average for all but one appetizer. Red Velvet cake was AMAZING !The highlight was our server Abby who was easily the most personable server I have had in forever ! Not crowded on a Friday night which was surprising until the food arrived. Bland penne pasta and when I asked for grated Parmesan, they brought out a small cup of powdered Kraft cheese. Another in our party ordered a Caesar salad and it came with bottled dressing and shrimp served on a separate plate that looked like it had just been thawed. Service was sub par as well. Wonderful dinner experience on a busy Saturday night! Lovely atmosphere, modernly upscale but not stuffy. The staff (including the owner) was extremely pleasant and attentive. Drinks were excellent; the peach cosmo (which I never had before) was just delicious! We shared the french onion soup, salmon and lemon caper chicken. There were two "issues," that were very quickly resolved- the soup took a while to be served, but was served by the owner herself who apologized and explained that they had several large parties and that she wanted to ensure that the soup was fresh and hot. Also, the chicken was a bit tough but when mentioned to the server, she immediately brought out another piece of chicken which was perfect! Dessert was on the house-absolutely fabulous key lime pie! What a great spot where they definitely are concerned about serving fine food and customer satisfaction. We will 100% go back to Reunion, and highly recommend the restaurant. read more

We really enjoyed our double date. The service was great and our waitress was so patient when we couldn't make our mind up because we kept talking to each other. Great price points on drinks, $4 drafts and $8 Absolute martinis! I got the Chicken Marsala special, delicious, and my husband really enjoyed his steak. We went for my birthday and the fact that on the website it said on Wednesday it is 1/2 price bottles of wine. The server was attentive but when we ordered a bottle of wine we asked if it was half priced and she said no. I asked what bottle are half price and she said none were. I advised that their website and menu says that they have half priced bottle of wine and was told they are wrong and need to be fixed. We ordered the chicken dish, the beet salad, and some appetizers. The chicken was dry and the beet salad had no flavor at all. Appetizers were okay but the steak app was not good. They gave me a free dessert so I asked for Carrot cake and it was not great. Then when they brought the check it was split between 4 people with 3 people leaving a tip as 1 does not drink and they added more $ to cover the total tip. The person who put $0 for tip checked her bill and was charged 20% for a tip. The music and singers were not great. All in all I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Not good at all and do not recommend. Terrible service...waited 20 min just to get drinks. Waitress said the bar was busy...there were 10 people at the bar and two bartenders. Didn't seem overwhelming. It was a Saturday night and a well run restaurant would be ready for Saturday night. To add to the frustration the drinks were not good. To further underscore the issues of this place the waitress was simply inept. Among many things our food was served and we had no silverware. I finally gave up and stole silverware from a table next to us. Oh and the Food was not good...at all. overcooked and one step above bar food yet priced like a nicer restaurant. I give this place a year at best if they don't make some serious management changes. So disappointed...and miss Red Sky! read more

My one very minor complaint that I read from other reviewers as well is the noise level. Not overwhelming on a Wednesday night but I could see on a busier night where it would be too loud. Wanted to visit twice to make a fair assessment. This is a new place, only open for a couple of months. Ate at bar first visit, table on the second visit last Friday. Service was good both times, and the food was outstanding! Had parties of 4 both times, so we had a lot of variety and everybody was very pleased. I had steak on the first visit, and one of the best pork chops I've ever had on the second visit. Very good appetizers in general, the Salmon Tartare was outstanding. Good wine and beer selections, and our groups raved about the cocktails. One very small disappointment; on the first visit, we got the spinach/artichoke dip as an appetizer. The dip itself was decent, not great, and the bread that it came with for dipping (naan, I think) was very bland. Pita chips, bagel chips, seasoned/grilled flatbread; anything would be an upgrade. That said, this was a very, very minor flaw in what was two very good overall experiences. We will be regular visitors going forward! read more

Food was meh. I had the lemon caper chicken. They said they were out of artichokes and I would get more veggies. By veggies I think they only meant sun dried tomatoes. The chicken was a breast that looked like it had been cut in half making it very thin. The texture of the chicken was rubbery, I gave some to another person at the table. They also said it had a weird texture. It seemed like it was precooked, not sure if it precooked there or that's how they bought it. My kids said their food was above average. We play the stars game when we eat out. They would have given it 3 stars. The waitress also kept touching her face and hair when she was at the table. First time at Reunion and enjoyed the food. I was there for a private banquet and had a wonderful experience. I had the Shrimp Rigatoni and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad. The shrimp was cooked just right, the pasta was al dente, and the sauce complimented the meal. The grilled chicken was flavorful and the Parmesan cheese flakes were plentiful. The owner stopped by during our meal to provide background on her decision to open this restaurant. The interior was well decorated, and the ambiance would be a great place to meet for drinks on Date Night. I recommend visiting when there is live music. read more

East Cobb has been missing a place like this! It's upscale, but not stuffy. The food is five star without the five star prices and the decor is clean and modern. I have to say that my favorite dish thus far is the Chilean Sea Bass. It melts in your mouth and is good enough to be called a desert! Beautiful addition to the East Cobb food scene. They still have a big opportunity to grow their bar business. The service at the bar is ok, but the bartender has zero personality and a little rude at times. I've been 3 times and each time is the same. If I were the owner I'd bring a more positive vibe to the bar and expand the bar offerings. East Cobb needs an upscale bar scene with good food and service.
