    Crispy chicken sandwich

Stopped by for New Year's lunch. Hubby and I have been to 1920 a couple times before but it had been a while and we were in the mood for something different than our usual haunts. We started with the pimento cheese dip and were both surprised to find that it was served hot along with several pieces of soft, warm bread. It was SO good and a nice change from the way that most other restaurants serve their pimento cheese. Even hubby loved it and he is usually not a fan of cheese. For my main, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this is THE BEST MEAL I have had in a really long time. Total comfort food that hit all the right spots on this chilly afternoon. The cheese on the sandwich was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the tomato soup was perfection. I was tempted to lick the bowl when I got to the bottom, but that wouldn't be very dignified while dining out, so I did the next best thing by sopping up the residue with what was left of my sandwich. It was delicious and I will be back for more soon. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had. He is hard to please, so between the pimento and sandwich, 1920 achieved the improbable in impressing hubby. Service was impeccable. The main reason we had not come back in a while is because it is a small space and can feel pretty congested when it fills up, which is not the most comfortable. We don't like feeling crowded, but after today's visit, we decided that the limited space is a small price to pay for amazing food and service, so we will undoubtedly return soon. Perhaps we will try sitting outside instead when the weather cooperates. Big thanks to 1920 for starting our new year off on the right foot!

The service at 1920 Tavern was really good everyone there was very accommodating! The ambience was great as well as it wasn't super busy and they played good music. While there were only a few brunch options, Jen's Avocado Toast was amazing. It's definitely going to be my go-to when I come back!

This place is such a vibe!! The drinks are so incredible with a wide selection of delicious cocktails. The food was so damn good! Literally some of the best fried cauliflower I've ever had! This is definitely an intimate place. Can't wait to go back!

Good vibes. Not too mad at it. Food was solid, nothing more nothing less. Served was nice. The outside seating was a little tight but manageable

Excellent waitstaff, especially Walter, who was wonderful. The food, though, was just okay. My chargrilled oysters were awful. I'm not even sure they know what "chargrilled" means. Thick, mushy breading completely smothered the oyster...no flavor, no texture, just bad. And I say that as someone from New Orleans with high standards, but honestly, anyone could taste this and know it was a miss. The short rib appetizer with the crispy sweet potato cake was fine. The cake itself was actually great. It was crispy, unique, and delicious. But the short rib was tough and lacked flavor. The service alone deserves five stars, and the atmosphere is lovely for a Friday night out. But the food just doesn't deliver.

Great food and portions. Drinks were very strong but you got your moneys worth. Waiter and staff was very friendly. Even with the restaurant being busy food came out in a timely manner and was delicious

Cute and quaint spot in Roswell. I ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta. It was in a light but very flavorful broth. 10/10. I can't wait to try more from the menu!

I stopped in with my mom on the weekend to sit out outside and enjoy the nice weather. We were very excited to do so our cocktails were absolutely delicious and we ordered a second round. We also wanted to try a few different things and our server was on it and without asking, split our pasta dish into for us to share. overall, we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend anyone looking to visit to definitely stop by!

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the hostess, plus a very inviting bar behind the stand. Prior to coming, we needed to change our reservation and they were happily able to accommodate. It was everyone's first time here, so the server explained how their menu works and what are the popular dishes. We started with the seasonal Thai salad, Smokey cabbage and pork belly. Our server put in the incorrect order, instead of the pork belly, she put in the chive fries, but she happily comped this due to error. Out of all the apps we tried, my favorite was the salad and actually the chive fries. Salad was fresh with corn, tomatoes, snow peas and the dressing was nicely salty and a bit spicy. The chive fries are reminiscent of chive pancake but cut in long strips, shaped like fries, though I found the sauce it came with too sweet. For our main entree, we all shared the chicken satay (my personal favorite and that satay sauce was to die for), crab fried rice (flavorful but found the old bay seasoning a bit too overpowering), whole market fish was trout that night (loved this was topped with a fresh salad) and crying thaiger (I didn't eat the steak but the grilled okra and the sauces were delicious). All of the entrees came with jasmine rice, but there's an option to get sticky rice and garlic rice for extra fee. I thought this was a good meal and our server was great. We found service to be a bit slow, but they were pretty busy. It got better towards the end of the night as people were leaving. They also gave free dessert as someone in our party was celebrating their birthday.

They had/have crowlers (picked up two) and they also have merch if you want. I saw two TV's but I sat up in front - there was an entire section I didn't wander or explore. I didn't sit outdoors either as it was humid. Stuck around in the AC, enjoying a few pours and some pizza from Lilpizzatruck who was providing the eats this past weekend. A chill time for some light snacking and great pours.

As soon as we walked in, my daughter spotted an appetizer that a nearby table was enjoying, and she begged me to get the same thing. It seemed to be a tray of loaded fries. As I perused the menu, I decided that it must have been the pulled pork fries, so we started with that. Considering there were only two of us, we made a significant dent in this tray. It was delicious! On the bottom of the tray was a generous layer of beer cheese upon which the fries were laid and then topped with bbq pulled pork, a little bit of maybe sour cream or some other type of cream, and pico de gallo. The fries remained crispy throughout, and the whole thing had a great balance of flavor. 10/10 would recommend. Don't skip this app! The server was attentive, and when I was undecided, she suggested that I try the pulled pork grilled cheese. Since it was a lunch special, she told me I could get that in whole or half. I opted for half since we had such a big appetizer, and was glad to have that option. My daughter ordered the kids' mac and cheese with fries. The sandwich I ordered lived up to the hype. I finally got to attend this place and always wanted to try it since I moved to the Atlanta area…read more I've heard nothing but great things about it. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant inside meaning it's good for a date, a night out with friends or family, or a great place to celebrate for a prom or graduation. It's more upscale than a traditional restaurant however I loved it! I came here with my business coach since I won a competition and the prize was to have lunch at the place of my choice. She ordered the soup of the day, which was like this cheddar soup that came with these two sauces, which one of the sauces was a jalapeño based sauce, which was spicy, but not too spicy to wear it wasn't edible. She did like her soup and she also ordered the lobster and smoked Gouda ravioli for her entrée. She had no complaints considering she bagged the food up to go and wanted to finish it right there, but she couldn't. Lol. I ordered the twin seared chicken, which is actually half a chicken pan seared. My chicken was so delicious! It was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection to where it was fall off the bone. Just how I like it! The rice and the green beans paired well with it. My rice was cooked well, meaning it was not mushy or hard. And my green beans were a great consistency as well. My little one had a chicken tender salad since she loves cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, pretty much anything that comes in a salad that's not the lettuce. Lol. I must say I was impressed by the size of the salad because it was huge for a child. It would be great as a size salad for an adult. The chicken tenders were an amazing size, bigger than what most restaurants would give especially for a child's plate. I was highly impressed by the size of the portions for the children because the price is pretty standard for a kids meal entrée in comparison to other restaurants that give less. Our service was awesome! I wouldn't expect anything less considering the ambience of the restaurant. Our server was attentive, and he even bagged up both of our meals for us. This place is a 10 out of 10 and yes, I will be frequenting this restaurant a lot more in the future, even if it's by myself to sit at the bar.

They needed to clean the booth, so we waited, but when we were taken to our seats, one side of the booth still had cocktail stirrers on the seat. (Likely 4 smaller people would have been able to squeeze into that booth, but knowing we had 3 larger adults in our party of 5, I asked if we could move to a table.) Moving to the open table required a manager's override. Very thankfully, a waiter asked if we'd been helped, when he noticed us standing near the hostess stand, and explained that a manager needed to make the change to a table with chairs. (The hostess did not explain that to us.) The waitress at our table was polite to us and provided excellent service, but it was clear she was trying to rush us along. I ordered the almond encrusted trout, which was okay, but the mashed sweet potatoes were served cold. (Maybe it was wrong of me to assume they would be served warm, as I have had sweet potato salad at a Korean restaurant that was served cold, but seeing that my husband's mashed potatoes were steaming hot, it was another disappointment.). When we told them that we were there for my husband's birthday, they did comp us the cost of a dessert and put a lit candle in the desert for us. However, the overall experience and food were just okay, not great, as we had hoped.
