Visited this park for a birthday we attended over summer. Wish I lived closer to this park! It was a lot of fun and my kids have asked me many times to return. They have all the great makings of a good park: grassy areas with shade, splash pad, shaded play grounds, playgrounds for varying ages and abilities, swings. They've got it all! The Park is very spacious. Perfect area to have a family day. Splash pad is huge and the kids enjoyed it.

Very clean and spacious with plenty of parking and padded playgrounds. Parking is right by the park entrance. There are two separated playgrounds for younger kids and older kids. Bathroom is available on site. There is also a splash pad, but I have not seen it in action before. Plenty of seats with and without shades. read more

A good friend of mine reminded me on Earth Day how lucky we are to have such great parks in our metro area. This is very true! We lived in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for the previous four years and were disappointed with the lack of parks there. We have a very athletic Shih Tzu who we walk every morning for an hour and then 20-30 minutes in the evening. We rotate parks continuously, probably more for us than our pooch. However, the park we go to the most is the one closest to our home, Paseo Vista Park almost at the corner of St. Rose and Paseo Verde. The park is quite large and has a fantastic water pad for the kids along with some fine playground structures. The is a Bosci (sp?) Ball area along with a spot to play horseshoes. There also is a nice basketball area and a sidewalk that encircles the entire park. There is an exercise area that has a number of stations with different exercise tasks such as pull-ups, sit-ups, etc. Paseo Vista Park, as all of the parks we go to in Henderson and Las Vegas, seem to have exceptional attendants that keep the park and toilet facilities clean and working. Paseo Vista Park does have a dog park. It's not huge and there is only one for dogs of all sizes, but the people and their pets that come there are well mannered and friendly. Other nearby parks that are exceptional are Discovery Park on Paseo Verde and Sunridge Park on Sandy Hill. read more

I like this park a lot. So much so, we reserved the picnic area for my daughter's birthday party. Just an FYI, if you're not a Henderson resident, they charge you an extra $3 per hour. So it was $46 for the two hours we had reserved. Here's my pros for this park. 1. It's clean! 2.Two jungle gyms; one for the older kids and one for the little kids. But I've seen kids of all ages play on both. There are plenty of swings so you don't have to wait for one. The jungle gyms are challenging enough and offer a good workout for the little ones. 3. There's a bocce ball court and a huge splash pad to play in during the summer months. 4. Large grass area for picnics or to just run around. 5. Off to the side, there's an enclosed doggy area. My only con is that the parking lot is small so I sometimes have parked on the street. This is definitely in my rotation of parks with my kids. I'm here about once a week. Say hello if you see me, but don't expect me to converse long since I have to chase after my little ones. read more

I just adore this little park. There's a water feature for the kids (and animals...Shhh!) to play in. Slides, covered recreation area, trees and a walking path. It's nice. On the other side of the parking lot, there's an off leash dog park, which is great! It's well lit and open until midnight. Very convenient if Fido needs to burn off some energy any time of day. It's separated into two sides for small and large dogs. There's a nice place to jog, a paved trail, which will keep you off the streets. Plus they have public restrooms and the two big playground areas for the kids or big kids. This is a clean, safe and well lit park. It's absolutely worth a visit if you'r ea local or just visiting. read more

This is a great park located right off the ST ROSE exit off the 215 fwy. Their playgrounds are larger than your average park playgrounds, with lots of space for kids to run around, especially on a busy, crowded day. The playgrounds are shaded, and there's plenty of swings. There is also a car and airplane (or is it a fish) for kids to ride. Lots of picnic tables and benches. They have chess/checkers tables for the adults. Oh and I almost forgot, the splash pad is a big hit in the hot summer! Free fun for kids. Too bad the splash pad isn't shaded. But overall, nice place to visit with kids. I will definitely be back again and again. read more

I am not sure why.. but I am here at 3:30pm, i am the only one here with my daughter. Pressed the button for the water but nothing came up. Not sure if it's broken? Looks like there is still some water on the ground so someone must have used it before us but I couldnt make the water work. So disappointing.. I am not sure if it is me, or the equipment? Other than that, looks like a nice big park and clean. No shade over the splash pad area though. read more

This is a great little park. It has two covered areas, a bocce ball court, and an off-leash dog park. The parking lot is small, but you can also park in the street. The covered areas have climbing walls, climbing rocks, slides and other things to play with like telescopes and car wheels. They have a couple of swings. It's great that they have big swings where you can swing with your kid or kids. There's a big splash pad, but it wasn't turned on when we visited. My kids haven't been into splash pads before. We will bring them back to this park once it's warm enough since it's a cool splash pad. My kids had lots of fun climbing, going down the slides and bouncing in the car and planes. They love pretending to drive while spinning the car wheels. The kids didn't want to leave, so we'll be back for sure! read more

This park has a good variety of engaging activities. 2 different areas with climbing and slides, both of which have ramps that get you close to the top of things for accessibility. 1 of them is shorter and better for the toddlers while the other is bigger and higher for the older kids. It has a couple swing sets but several the seats have been damaged and need repair/replacing. Especially the swings that have harnesses for children that need the extra protection in order to use the swing. Most of the harness are just missing all together while 1 swing for little kids was damaged and getting worse on one side to wear you couldn't sit on it without hurting my kid's legs. There is also basketball courts, an area for things like corn hole and lawn darts or horse shoes, a splash pad (off and fenced when I went), 2 decent size open fields, and a covered seating area with picnic tables and benches. read more

They have BBQ grills, two play areas, plenty of grass, bocce ball. plenty of parking (on the street), nice swings with real seats. Granddaughter loved it. What else do you say about a park? This park is great!! It has two large areas that the under crowd can play on and the older crowd can play on. The grassy area is great ! My kids played soccer and my youngest played on the swings and playground area. We stayed here for at least 3 hrs and left only because we were hungry. Lots to do ! read more

This park is clean it has a dog park that is t that big but big enough for your fur babies to run around comfortably. Everyone at the dog lark was super friendly and all dogs had a blast with one another. There is two play grounds for young children and one side for older kids. There is 3 bbq stands that are close together but can place coals down and cook up some food. I would suggest laying some foil down if you decide to bbq here just because you don't know what has been on the racks and they were sticky. There is covered seating which is nice if it is a hot day or overcast sprinkling. Their bathrooms were fully stocked with actually good toilet paper and hand soap. Something you don't always see at Public Parks. Overall, highly recommend this park also this weekend Sunday October 24th at 7pm come out dressed up with your kiddos for some trick or treat and to support small businesses. It's going to be filled with different vendors from food for snacks and dinner, homemade doggy treats, vendors that specialize in spa days for you and your on get togethers, pure romantic vendor, a gal that sales kitchen supplies, Ect.... Found this park while on a romantic evening walk. It has everything for family fun - including a workout area and bocce ball. There is plenty of grass, a splash pad for kids, dog friendly, and basketball courts. For those who enjoy chess, tables are available. I brought my friend's 3 year old daughter here, and she had a blast on the children's jungle gym. The park boasts two play area for kid/child fun, which includes climbing walls and different sizes of slides for every kid/child age. The swings are STILL tied up due to covid-19 scares, but the rest of the park is available for fun and an excellent run. My only complaint is that there is NO evening lighting for the children's playgrounds which does cause safety concerns in the evening. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. I had trouble getting the splash pad to work, so we opted to run through the sprinklers - which was equally as fun. The parking lot isn't very big, but the amount of bbq grills make up for it. The park is right off a running trail, which continues through the park and beyond for an excellent run. REASONS TO VISIT: 1. Running trail 2. Fitness area 3. Splash pad 4. Pros - Close to house, two sets of swings and slides and what looks like a water pad. Cons - Water pad doesn't look used, the park itself is on the small side and doesn't have a lot of seating for picknickers or partiers, and it is right on the street where the ice cream truck can zoom up to entice kids to run into traffic or crazies can yell obscenities as they drive by. Luckily the kids don't pay much attention to the street traffic and stay and play. The park is well maintained and has restrooms and a water fountain. read more

This is a really nice playground for the kids. it has two covered playgrounds, covered picnic area, a splash pad and a dog run. They have designed some nice play grounds for the kids and their different ages. I only wish there was some type of covering for the splash pad. My head is always getting burned cause I am basically bald. :-( It's nice how close it is to the district and whole foods. You can wear out the kids and then go shopping afterwards and they won't complain. :-) We've always felt really safe in that area and are comfortable going any time of the day or evening. We will be going more and more as the weather gets warmer. read more

Been here a few times to take the kids to the parks or join a birthday or barbeque. Small parking lot, but street parking allowed. Public restrooms. Decent walk/bike way. There's a shaded area with about 6 benches with tables, in between two big playgrounds. One definitely accommodates older kids and the other is for smaller kids. Lots of monkey bars, different size and style slides, "rock climbing" or mountain area, chair style swings, lots of running space, and smaller areas where I've noticed kids like to play "house" or "stores". There's also a splash pad for the warmer days. Like everyone who's been here has mentioned, I wished the play areas were shaded because we all know how hot it really gets in Vegas. This small park is primarily for dogs and kids! There's a splash pad for the warmer months and a small playground area, but they're a pretty close to the street so keep an eye on your kiddos. There's one gated area for dogs to be off-leash and isn't divided into small/large dog areas as at larger parks. That said, there's a lot of grassy areas, public bathrooms, and a nice trail that leads to the back subdivision. read more

Nice park with a big kid and smaller kid playground, but really came to check out the splash pad for my little one. You have to turn it on by pushing a button on the pole, but I was expecting the splash pad ground to be soft and padded like the playground but instead it is made up of little rocks, so be careful or young ones can scrape their knee if they fall. read more

Small park with not much shade, but it has a splash pad and a fitness area with a bunch of those metal bar things that are designed for different exercises and stretches. There were at least 5 pokestops, and I caught 3 Slowpokes in about 30 minutes. read more

Well... this is one of the park I love. There are not too many people every time we come around 5-7 pm. It is great in the summer cos there is a big splash pad. There are 2 parks, one for small kids and the other for older. Both playgrounds are hugh and the kids are me polite than some of the park I have been.
