Went out of my way for this one and it was totally worth it…read more It's a bit hidden, but once you turn the corner it's a delightful find. It's a fantastic coffee shop designed with simplicity and producivity in mind - hosted in a gorgeous building with exposed brick and ceilings, which give it an industrial feel. My take on the space was it breathes this interesting balance of lingering, connection with others, and productivity. Almost every seat had a corresponding table, so that's a warm invitation to bring your devices in. There was a Ducati (!!!) parked right across from the coffee bar, which I later learned belongs to the owner just sharing his passion with the coffee community. Small detail, but it says something about the place. Definitely not a coffee shop trying to be a copy and paste chain. Menu had a few creative options I wouldn't mind coming back to try. They've also got their own merch line; the cups were also designed well enough that you'd actually want to keep one. There's street art right across from the shop worth a look if you've got a few minutes to spare. If you don't mind a short drive for a great cup and a space that actually feels lived in, this one delivers. PS - Parking can be tricky. It looks like there's ample space to park, but a lot of that is for Galvanize and the offices in the building. Towing trucks come over often, so heads up if you're going to park there. Don't get caught in the wrong spot.

The customer service was great, and they have a nice variety of drinks to choose from. Matcha didn't taste fresh and the color was pretty pale green. We ordered 2 different matchas and they both had clumps (matcha wasn't whisked properly). Sweetness level was very high, but I should've asked when ordering to get my drink less sweet so I won't count that against them. My husband ordered a blueberry/lavender coffee special and was not satisfied with his either, saying it was too sweet to enjoy and artificial tasting. Cute place to work or meet somebody out though.

I've only heard great things and it was such a pleasure to make a visit. The interior is ultra modern, and art-centered. On a Wednesday morning, there was one staff member holding it down and a wait/line with about 5-6 people, so the wait was about 15-20 minutes in total-- including ordering and waiting for drinks. There was mainly only paid street parking options, but it wasn't hard to find any right in front of the shop. I got two drinks: Más and Abeja, to try their matcha and coffee, and really thoroughly enjoyed both. The matcha is a little bit on the milkier side, but I did enjoy that it was completely unsweetened, and leaned on the vanilla cold foam for a light sweetness. I think I enjoyed the coffee more personally, as the honey paired super well with the espresso and oat milk. The espresso is very good. I would come back if I was in the area, I just wish the parking situation was a little different!

My daughter and I walked up to the counter ready to order, and I knew I wanted a mocha--but I wasn't completely sure. Hunter stepped right up to the register, already fired up and ready to help. I asked him, "Do you think I want a mocha?" and without hesitation he said yes! We both laughed, and then he suggested adding vanilla, which had me completely sold. Then he started talking to my daughter about a couple of other drink options, and wow--he had me reconsidering my whole order! My daughter reminded me that I don't like prickly pear, but Hunter kindly let me sample it anyway. Sure enough, I still didn't like it--but he made it sound so delicious and refreshing that I almost believed I would! We left already planning our next visit just to see Hunter again. I'd say the match was on the not to sweet side and my drink needed a bit more cardamon (it was light in taste). Fantastic Atmosphere and Workspace in Midtown, but Mind the Peak Hours…read more My friend and I visited this cafe on a mid-week afternoon looking for a productive spot to get some remote work done, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Logistically, midtown traffic in this area is a well-known hurdle, but the dedicated parking lot located directly behind the building makes arriving by car much easier. Inside, the design and atmosphere are an absolute vibe. The mismatched furniture, abundance of indoor plants, and view of the green canopy outside provide a perfect, refreshing escape from the summer heat. The menu is varied and high-quality. I ordered a matcha latte, which was excellent and refreshing, while my friend opted for a lunch sandwich and a latte. For true coffee enthusiasts, they also sell specialty house-roasted coffee beans retail, including a Guatemalan Antigua and another select house blend. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating tailored for focus and productivity. While the pricing is slightly higher than your average coffee shop, the exceptional atmosphere and amenities justify the cost. One quick tip for remote workers: The environment shifts noticeably after 4:00 PM. The space can become quite loud with patrons taking phone calls or conducting 1-on-1 meetings at adjacent tables. If you plan to work through the late afternoon, I highly recommend bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones to remain undisturbed.
