We were warmly greeted and spoke with a gentleman behind the counter about what we were looking for. He kindly made us aware that they only had 1/2 a chicken left. We were also told the kids chicken meal is close to 1/4 chicken serving size. Keep in mind it it's more than three hours before closing on a Monday. No problem we pivot and order the lomo sandwich 1/4 white and the kids meal. We pay, wait, take our food and 2 year old home to eat what we were excited about ordering. After opening the 1/4 white we find the side of plantains we ordered is completely missing with what looks like a single serving of yuca. Huge disappointment considering it's a main attraction for me to get Peruvian chicken in general. Open the kids meal to find a single chicken drumstick the size of a medium wing and a ball of rice. That's $8.75. The only silver lining was the lomo sandwich was decent although once again a small portion. If you don't have enough food to fill orders don't take them. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

All in all, it's on par with the majority of Peruvian chicken joints I've been to, but I don't mean that as a dig. I'm planning on retiring sooner than later!

The worst part was the food itself. The potatoes in the Papa a la Huancaína were cold and partially raw. I literally had to finish cooking them in the microwave at work. The empanada was decent, and the alfajor would have gotten better marks if it weren't for the small hair I found on it, but overall the experience was not worth the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn't ever come back. Revash has better portions, better prices, and overall much better food.

How would you like to find out at the last minute that they're going to split up your party at two different tables on two different sides of the restaurant because they weren't prepared when you gave them a week's notice via reservation? The food isn't that good to have to keep going through the challenge of being seated every time we make a reservation for a group. They're really pricey, too. So, certainly not worth this chronic headache. There are PLENTY of other places in the Town Center or in Herndon/Reston in general where you can get a tasty meal, not drop a day's pay, and have your entire party served well together. The taco joint across the street is definitely a more pleasant experience, for example, and I would certainly recommend bartaco...give them a try instead for a fun environment and some good eats.

I recently tried the Ceviche at Revash, and it was outstanding. The fresh fish marinated in lime juice was incredibly flavorful, with just the right amount of tanginess and a touch of heat from the chili peppers. The red onions, cilantro, and corn added a nice crunch. The fish was fresh and tender, and the presentation was beautiful with sweet potato slices and Peruvian corn. Not sure if it was because it sat in our fridge until later, but the wontons were soggy and not crispy at all. But the taste was there and surprised us how good it was despite pairing it with white rice.
