Revel is a new dance and nightclub opened in midtown area located at address 1778 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. Beautiful establishment night club or function spot. I thoroughly enjoyed myself for the most part. Beautiful place, great music, strong drinks and good security. There is some street parking available in front of the club and they do have a private lot for a charge. No smoking inside, but there is an outdoor smoking patio. No matter what age, ethnic background, or social category you identify with, this is a spot you do want to try once. The bathrooms are kept clean, even though little outdated and the bathroom assistant has everything. You can usually get in free before midnight ladies, sometimes free for men before 11 PM gents. The sections allow you space to eat, do hookah, and enjoy the club scene without sore feet. The DJ had a nice selection. The bartender did a great job with my drinks. This club is a great urban spot with nice decor and plenty of room.

We are so Thirsty in this city for a good time that we will accept anything. I've been here a few times all bad experiences. The last time they tried to charge me $100 for Hookah the reason for the dumb price she said she would have to put it up on a table‍..... The Waitress staff as far as at the bar is cool if you don't ask for a drink that requires more than two ingredients. All it will take is about 3-5 night spots to get it right in Atlanta and Places like this will be done‍ I'll write more later

Yes just how I wanted it....

Is this place really free to attend or is it just a way to draw people in?

I've heard of them having free before 11pm nights. Never on a Saturday though. I've only been once so I'm no REVEL expert. Maybe try calling. I hope this helps

    Anyone have the age requirements?

21 it's a drinking establishment. Private events may vary.

It's on Edgewood so you know you have to worry about figuring out parking on your own and most likely it's going to be paid parking. Now they do have street parking so keep that in mind but that's always the first to go so just keep that in mind as well. It seems that the food is solid so I didn't even try any food because I'd already eaten. Maybe I get to give another go on a good night and try the food to give it an accurate assessment but as of right now it was just a typical bar situation. You'll go ahead and head to the door and get searched by security and then you'll sit down somewhere and they'll eventually take care of you. I wasn't wowed by anything and it wasn't earth-shattering as far as service goes but it was a good experience. That's exactly what I expected lol. Nothing wrong with that though don't get me wrong, but it just was what it was.

Like most spots in Atlanta, Hollywood ATL is a whole vibe--even down to the parking. I found this…read moreplace through Groupon. They're a newer restaurant with multiple promos, and I snagged the $100 dining credit for $50. After checking their menu and health score, I figured it was worth it. Parking & First Impressions: I first tried the lot across the street--ran over a glass bottle from an overflowing trash can, and the kiosk wanted over $20. No thanks. I walked to the door at 6 PM (they open at 4), only to find it locked. After pushing, pulling, and almost breaking it, I called. The manager was just as confused but eventually sent someone to let us in. Turns out, cheaper parking is directly behind the building for $10. Pro tip: if you can squeeze between the fence, you'll end up right at the restaurant's street without circling around. That matters, especially since a lady was pacing the block knocking on car windows. The Space: The vibe inside? Definitely vibey--low-lit, lounge style. From what I could tell, seating was mostly booths and a bit limited (maybe there's an upstairs). We were the only ones there and picked our booth, but had to ask for the table to be wiped down. Odd, considering we arrived two hours after opening. Service & Groupon Details: Our server seemed new but thorough--she double-checked everything with the manager, especially around the Groupon. I appreciated that. Too often, places surprise you with hidden fees or weird gratuity rules. No such issue here. Bonus: the brunch menu runs all day. Food & Drinks: We went all in on the $100 credit: Truffle & Parmesan Fries - $12.50 Lamb Chop Lollipops - $38 Monte Cristo-style Cinnamon Bun Sandwich - $20 Salmon & Grits - $22 "The Django" cocktail - $18 The fries? Fantastic. Big portion, fresh, and flavorful--something I'd order on UberEats alone. The lamb chops? Worth every dollar. Perfectly cooked, plenty of meat, and that honey balsamic glaze was chef's kiss. The brussels sprouts could've been sautéed longer, but not bad. I originally wanted the ribeye and eggs platter, but they were out of steak. Disappointing, but the cinnamon bun sandwich more than made up for it--sweet, savory, and satisfying (though they forgot the breakfast potatoes). My fiancée's salmon was well done, not dry, but the grits needed more time and more cheese. I mentioned it to the chef when she came out. Now, the drink? That was the showstopper. "The Django" came with cherry wood smoke infused right at the table. I let it sit for a few minutes, and wow--smooth, robust, with the last sips hitting hard. Not a complaint, just a heads-up. Overall: This is a chill spot with good food and unique touches. It's not perfect--a few gnats keep hovered around our table, and service is still finding its groove--but it's far from terrible. I'd come back, maybe later in the evening to see the nightlife vibe, or in the future once things feel more polished.

The chef did her thing, all of the food was amazing. I thought the restaurant and lounge was a cool spot to hang out. They also had an upstairs area. It is located downtown, so just be prepared to pay for parking. That was my only concern.

I was actually really impressed with this place!…read more Parking: Not the largest parking lot, but I was able to find a spot on a Friday night with no hassle. Parking was free, which we love. For a Friday night, there weren't as many people inside as I was expecting so the reservation I made wasn't needed this time. We were sat immediately! One thing I noticed was, when I walked in there was no security but by the time my friend came about 8-10 minutes later there was a security guard checking IDs and bags. I'm assuming they start this service after a certain point in the evening. Inside, the ambiance was dimly lit and had your typical restaurant/lounge decor and music. I enjoyed the bright colors and think it will look great for brunch due to their patio area allowing natural sunlight in. The only thing I didn't like was the FLOOR WAS VERY SLIPPERY. Like hazardous, greasy slippery. They do have a carpet you can walk on but the bare floor parts almost took me out every time. Drinks: I had the (1201?) margarita and my friend had the lychee martini. We both really enjoyed our drinks. Dinner: I had the honey glazed lamb chops which were actually delicious and cooked to perfection. The crispy Brussels and mashed potatoes were also very flavorful. Everything tasted really good! My friend had the Rasta pasta and she said she enjoyed it as well. I found pricing to be fair as well. Overall, the atmosphere was a little lack luster for a Friday night but the food was great and something I'd definitely come back to enjoy!

The octopus was perfectly cooked--tender with great flavor, which can be hard to get right. The calamari was also excellent, crispy and well seasoned without being heavy. Pera Bistro was just okay overall…read more The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting, which I appreciated. They also offer hookah and a drink menu that some people may enjoy. The biggest annoyance was the $10 valet parking. Paying $10 just so you don't have to walk a few steps from a nearby parking spot feels excessive. On top of that, a mandatory 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which made the overall experience feel even more overpriced. As for the food, the pasta was overcooked. The lamb chops were overpriced for what they were not bad, but nothing special. I ordered them medium, but they arrived well done, which was disappointing. The rice, however, was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. Service was average at best and felt below what I'd expect considering the prices, valet fee, and mandatory gratuity. Overall, nothing stood out enough to justify the cost. Between the overcooked pasta, incorrectly cooked lamb chops, average service, $10 valet parking, and mandatory 20% tip, I don't see myself coming back.
