We've always had a fantastic experience here and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Yes, they often do not have a ton roaming around to help (not that they don't want to, but I just feel like they're often understaffed) but if you go up to the checkout counter to ask a question or request assistance, they will help you out immediately and with a smile. The store is also a large location and inventory is great. This location is a bit out of the way for us and further than other Big 5 locations, but we always know that they are going to have anything we need. The store is also well laid out so you can easily find what you need quickly. It's never messy when we go, despite what other people say on here, and it's just an all around good shopping experience. Honestly, if they were able to staff up a bit to have a few more employees roaming the floor outside of the shoe department, I would give this location 5 stars. Maybe I've been lucky on the dozen or so times I've been here, but I see no reason to complain about this location at all.

Nothing amazing, but they're better priced than other big box sporting good store chains so, once again, this is always our first stop for gear for our 3 growing kids & their youth sports gear. If you give them your email you'll get a weekly email with some good deals that often are catered to whatever sport season is about to start as well which I greatly appreciate.
