This review is well overdue, about 5 months ago I got my first Botox treatment and lips done at this office. I'm so glad I had my treatments done here, they didn't make me look like one of those girls that you see and can tell they had a lil too much Botox and fillers injected in their faces, where it doesn't look as natural. This is my experience at this office. I arrived five minutes before my appointment. It was the receptionist and my self at the front office. The nurse checks in with the receptionist and sees me there and disappears. As I'm walking around the office observing the products they offer I noticed the receptionist was into her cell phones....about 15 minutes later the nurse calls my name and asks me if I filled out the paperwork. The receptionist runs towards the nurse and says no she hasn't. The nurse asks the receptionist if she is alone. The receptionist responds and says yes so and so is out of the office today. Here is where I want to say, "you have been busy on your phone". Finally I'm with the nurse and she apologized because she "didn't realize" It was me there for my scheduled appointment. I will not return to this office. This is an unorganized office and unprofessional in terms of not paying attention to providing the paperwork necessary for my care because staff is distracted by the cell phone. I had went in for a consultation and was told I needed to pay $100 for my deposit to go towards my appointment which I did. So I proceeded to make an appointment for a laser treatment and when it came to the day of my appt they had told me there was no $100 deposit in my account. I asked to speak with the manager and she told me there was nothing she can do since I didn't have proof since I wasn't given a receipt to begin with which is so unprofessional it's their job to give a receipt and keep everything neat and on file. One day I made the mistake of going with Shelby because Melissa was fully booked and I disliked the way my lips looked and I had to go back to get them dissolved. I noticed Botox/fillers last longer when I don't see Melissa... There has been two other ladies I saw and they took their time, the injections lasted longer while inside my skin. I went to see Melissa because my lips are old, tired, and just flat. She gave my lips some vavavoom! They are still swollen because I barely had them done yesterday. I used the gas to be more comfortable because I am a baby when it comes to needles! I was very comfortable. The office is clean and the staff is great. I have been a patient here since 2006 and wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. They have sales every now and then. I highly recommend! I had my first time treatment done several days ago at the Monterey Office--Revitalessence. The staff are warm and welcoming beginning with my first call. I went here because they were having the $10 per unit botox if you donated to a non-profit like SPCA. Normally I get 40 units in the forehead, the glabella (between the brows) AND crow's feet. Here I was told that I needed 40 units for the forehead and between the brows, crow's feet was going to be additional. I agreed to just do the forehead and glabella since I was already there and paid the $400. Four weeks later the botox effect was gone. I called to let them know and set-up the appointment . When I get there they want to charge another 20 units. The lady who did it first (Melissa) was not there, she was sick with Covid and the office manager couldn't authorize to get it for free. She could only give me a $100 discount but I had to pay the rest. I told her that I didn't think it was right, that maybe the product they used on me wasn't botox. She said that if it wasn't good product other people would've had complained. I told her that I recommended two people and it didn't work on them either. She tried to give an attitude and said that if I wanted it I had to pay again. This is a place I thought I could trust, but I am not going to be wasting my money and be given my time and risking my health if they are not using good products. read more

Today was my second visit for laser tattoo removal. My first visit I was offered a patch that helps remove more ink, it's an extra charge and they said using it would make it more likely that I wouldn't have to return for a second treatment. Today I wasn't offered the patch. I heard a bunch of things unwrapping but j figured it was cause or necessities for the laser treatment. I was quoted $100 more my tattoo removal and when I got to the front desk I was told my total was $175. I asked why and they told me it was because of the patch. The lady at the front desk told me I could talk to her manager and her manager proceeded to tell me "you saw her open the patch and you had it last time and you didn't tell her anything?" Another employer who was standing behind watching then told me "you get the same treatments every time unless you say otherwise". I was never told once I used this patch I'd need it for all treatments. I told the manager "I'm going to be charged for a service I didn't ask for?" And she said YES. I won't be back here. Please know that you should know what products they are opening during your treatment and any extras you purchase for your first treatment will be considered your wishes for the next. The manager was extremely rude and aggressive. What's the point of talking to a manager if she's going to chew your head off? So unprofessional. , read more
