This place is amazing! The food is delicious and they were so quick getting it out to us. During the lunch rush, it took less than 10 minutes for them to bring our party of 6 our food. The esthetics of the restaurant are awesome and they have a great outdoor seating area. Wonderful service and the food was delish! If you have picky kids like I do, this is a great place to stop. I was tempted to try this place after my niece posted a pic of the Sandwich of Many Colors...a wonderful sandwich on wheat bread with sweet potatoes, arugula, goat cheese, caramelized red onions and pickled beets. I know right? Sounds crazy? Not at all it was simply amazing. Served with watermelon wedges and I had a side salad as well. Awesome stuff. My sister had the chicken sandwich and my nephew had a beautiful burger on a brioche bun. We shared a large fries with an awesome lemon/garlic aioli dipping sauce. Served with a smile. Literally everything was incredible. We were passing through town and we asked for a recommendation for a place to eat (5 of us including 3 kids), and Revival was the place. We were told about the fresh farm to table food, friendly staff, great clean atmosphere and it didn't disappoint. We ordered and were being served drinks when my 10 y.o. Said, "mom, they really are SO friendly!" We are "that" family that manages to spill something everywhere we go- and today was no different. The staff hurried to help me clean it up and did it with a smile. My 7 year old was embarrassed but the staff was quick to get him a new drink and not make him feel badly for his mistake. Come to Revival where you are just a number and not a customer! My wife and I came to visit our daughter at Baylor and she recommended coming to this restaurant. Upon arrival we were quickly greeted and seated. The restaurant was clean, staffed and observing all COVID-19 precautions. All three of us ordered lunch and I ordered an IPA. The food was good, as expected. The waiter asked if I wanted another beer as I was finishing my meal. I agreed. Much to my surprise, the waiter returned a short time later while I was still drinking my beer, the beer he asked if I wanted, and he literally asked us to leave so they could serve other customers! I was shocked. My wife even stated, 'he's finishing his beer' to which he replied, 'yea I know but we don't have that many tables and people are waiting.' I told him I can't believe he just asked us to leave and to get away from my table. As I fumed, I asked another server to get the manager. The rude and inexperienced waiter approached the manager prior to her arrival at my table. I was livid and couldn't believe I was asked to leave so they could 'flip a table.' I get the economics of it, I do. But, they offered to serve me and did. It wasn't like we were hanging around studying or reading. We finished our lunch and I was finishing my drink. I was appalled. Having worked in hospitality and now in health care, I am so disappointed in the way we were treated. I visited your establishment and spent money to be insulted. read more

A hip & vibing sandwich/salad eatery on the east side! The interior & exterior was spotless, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Ordered the golden calf burger with sweet potato fries on my first visit - yum, and the technicolor sandwich with tomato soup on my second visit, double yum! The food is fresh & bursting with flavor!! We asked for extra aioli to dip our fries in for an added oh-so-good tangy zip! The first thing I noticed was how loud it was and a very sweaty stressed looking water. So not a great first impression. I was open minded though and you can't help the noise or stress level of staff. The seating was a little unclear. Being a Saturday it was busy but there were tables available so we weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves. There was no sign so we asked a waiter and he told us to give our names and wait. The wait wasn't too long. We ordered the Eden Salad and the Golden Calve. After we gave our order we didn't see our waitress again. I ended up finally getting my own refill at the fountain which was I think is frowned upon but I never had the opportunity to ask for a refill either. I did like the fountain drinks though, which is why I wanted more. The food came pretty quickly. The flavors were pretty good but I wasn't wowed. I found the burger to feel small and the salad was decent sized but I didn't taste a lot of of the different flavors, which was a bummer because both had some yummy ingredients. The biggest bummer for the food was the sweet potato fries. There didn't tasted like they had been seasoned at all and they were soggy, not crisp. I love sweet potato fried and these were the worst I ever had. This is definitely a hip place, lots of young people and very popular but I didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. read more

Their burgers and fries are outstanding. The sweet potato fries are addictive and the aoli dipping sauce (if that's how it's spelled) is addictive. Was sharing them with my wife and wish I had ordered my own cause she was wolfing them down! The owner and all the staff that I encountered were welcoming and all seem knowledgeable about menu. I love the variety of options from salads to burgers and some great things in between. If you have room for desert, please try one of their chocolate chip cookies! They are unlike any other chocolate chip cookie I have ever tasted. I don't know what all is in the ingredients but I know I can't find these anywhere else. Heard about this new place on the Eastside and thought we'd give it a try. The staff were very nice and super friendly. You pay at the register then take a seat. I got a sandwich called the "Prodigal Son" and fries. The sandwich was delicious but small for the price. Had a glass of local beer with it as well. Went here today for the first time - really happy! I asked about the featured soup's ingredients (food allergy) and the host quickly came back with the answers. Ordered the posted sandwich special (w/out bread - which was a rosemary sour dough) and it was wonderful. Roast beef, rosemary aioli, cheddar, and arugula with sweet potato fries. Very fresh.
