Great lunch place in Waco! My husband got the burger and sweet potato fries. He said it was the best burger he had tried in Waco. This is a great place! Really fresh and quality tasting food. The owner personally came to the table to talk with us and tell us about her restaurant. Mostly all ingredients are sourced from Texas, which is an underrated quality. Danielle said she wanted to open a place with quality, healthy, and tasty food at a reasonable price, and she did just that. We did curbside due you COVID. Service on phone and curbside great. Burger and chicken sandwich were awesome. Fries were nice size, lacking in seasoning, though. House salad was fine. We went here for a sandwich. I got the old pestoment (grilled chicken sandwich) with fries. My son got the golden calf (hamburger) with fries. They were cooked perfectly and very tasty! The fries tasted like they were freshly cut & cooked! So good that we will keep going back to try out the rest of the menu! The place was super clean! The staff was really friendly and attentive! COVID mask mandate-era visit: We came to Waco for a near by getaway from Bryan, TX. What a GEM on Elm Ave! Glory be to the bakers, chefs and service people at this "off the beaten path " joint. Lauren provided 5 star service , even suggested the bakery down the street LuluJane's which was awesome too! The bread was fresh and hearty, the flavor and textures of the vegetables used in our meals were perfect. The best sweet potatoes fries I've ever had! Crisp but not over done. Moist but not soggy. My kids got the burgers (can be cooked and prepared to order) and are every bite. The regular fries were yummy too! Prices are reasonable. Being COVID they had limited paper menus so we looked up the online menu. The ones we used did not have the prices. But we were on vacation so we "rolled the dice " and ordered without knowing prices. 2 hamburger, 2 sandwiches, 2 pieces of cheesecake were 60$-it's farm to table so we knew it would be on the pricey side. Great new place in Waco. The signature burger did not disappoint. It was perfectly cooked and topped just the right way. The goat cheese was amazing. Love that they source from Texas first. My wife had the Rachel sandwich and the roast beef was fresh and delicious. Great staff, very helpful. Crowd was a great mix of college students and older folks like me. We flew in from Portland tonight and found this place on yelp. What a nice surprise and it just opened last week! The food, service and hospitality were fabulous. We were offered fresh watermelon while waiting for out food which was a nice touch. After dinner we were offered a sample of nitro brew coffee which was excellent. We highly recommend. read more

We visited this restaurant for the first time today after a friend recommended it to us. It earned all 5 stars, and then some. Service was great; quick and friendly. The owner greeted us when we came in and brought us our food when it was ready. I ordered the Trinity and my husband ordered the Old Pestoment. Both were excellent. They source the majority of their meats, cheeses, breads, beer, and produce locally and regionally from Texas which is a big plus in my book! Great food, fun atmosphere, and excellent service. Great food! It was busy at lunch but we didn't wait very long to get our food. We tried two different burgers, a salad, and the soup special of the day. Everyone enjoyed their plates. They sent regular fries with one of the burgers for which we had ordered sweet potatoes, and the employee noticed it before we did and brought a complimentary tray of sweet potato fries as well.
