This is a no frills, not Tex-Mex place. We specifically went for the carne el pastor. This is not a breakfast item you will find in any Tex-Mex place. My partner loves this dish and he said that they fresh Horchata was really good, too. They are very quick, once your order is placed. The food is served hot and delicious. I loved their re-fried beans. Usually they don't have much seasoning, but these had a great, smokey flavor to them. The price was very reasonable and the service was so great, I over-tipped them! I stopped here to try out their breakfast tacos. Atmosphere- dated, uninviting and just existing. Customer Service - The lady that waited on me wasn't very friendly and treated me like I was a regular and thus should already be familiar with their food offerings. Food- It was just okay but there are many better options around town. When I request potatoes on a breakfast taco I don't want hash browns. Small restauant seemingly on the far side of town. We shared the Chorizo Burro and Pancake Platter, pancakes, eggs, sausage and Hash Browns. Great food! Service was great. Not too busy so got served right away. Stopped in on our way between Dallas and San Antonio.

I had the carnitas. They were the best carnitas I ever had. Soft and tender on the inside, seared on the outside and nicely flavored. Carnitas is one of their specialties. The iced tea was freshly brewed and strong enough to hold up to the ice without getting too weak. Service was very good. read more

Love the carnitas, rice & beans and the tortillas are great too! The service is great! Only down side is that it's small and feels crowded.

Saw good reviews online and to say i was disappointed is an understatement, sign on the door say dine in acceptable and walked in to find the place is disgusting, it smelled bad the tables were dirty and just as i was walking out a gentleman said they are not accepting dine in and I could order to go. I told him the sign outside says dine in and he said he has no staff to serve dine in customer. I drove five miles to get there and its in a terrible neighborhood and the building is run down and not clean at all, I would not recommend this place at all !! read more

Amazing food and fast and friendly service, they have a great selection of breakfast lunch and dinner items, breakfast can be served all day. They have homemade sauces, the green one is my favorite, sodas are served in cans, and the have a variety of Mexican sodas, food is served with generous portions, and when I say generous I mean that two people can eat off of it, but it's sooo good that you won't want to share. The beans and rice are very delicious, Can seat a family of 8 no problem. I've eaten here a few times now and I've loved it each and every time. The service is very fast and the food has been consistantly good. This isn't fine dining so don't go in there expecting that. They do however offer great food at more than fair prices. The tacos are good. The huevos with chorizo are great and the menudo rocks. This place fills up on weekend mornings though so keep that in mind. Also..please bring cash. It's a cash only place. We were looking for breakfast close by and found this place on yelp. After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. The food was great and so was the service. Our eggs were cooked just right and the bacon was wonderful. I'm pretty sure the corn tortillas were homemade. It was extremely busy in there which is always a good sign. After reading the daily specials on the wall, we look forward to trying their lunch next time we are in town. read more
