Food and service was excellent! I had the Trinity, husband had the 8th day. Kids had a burger, grilled cheese and the build a lunch thing. We all enjoyed our food. My husband and I love this place. We've eaten there three times now and I must say that each time has been delicious. The only hiccup was one of our visits was during the evening and our food didn't taste as good as it had been. The other two visits were for lunch and we couldn't complain one bit. I went twice in the first two weeks they were open and both times the food and customer service were excellent. While we waited they brought out fresh cut watermelon and when my sandwich "The Technicolor Dreamcoat" arrived I was very satisfied. Magically the beets and sweet potatoes worked perfectly together. Amazing spot if you're brave enough to travel just outside the hype of the Silos and the Baylor bubble. The food is excellent. I've never paid $12 for a burger but I'd do it again in a heartbeat(can you say warm goat cheese and arugula?) The staff was prompt and knowledgeable. My only complaint would be the size of the tea glasses! I felt like they were having to refill our drinks constantly bc the glasses were so small! Go support this small business! read more

We were in Waco for the day and looking for a quick lunch spot and found Revival through Yelp. The Golden Calf burger was delicious - you really can't go wrong with lemon garlic aioli. Also Danielle was awesome and made us feel so welcomed to Revival and Waco. read more

There were three of us, and we all ordered something different because we were excited about trying a new place. Unfortunately, the Rachel (roast beef sandwich) and the sweet potato fries were the only decent items served to our table. The tiny portabella mushroom burger wasn't very good and had little other than arugula on it. The regular fries were cold and tasteless. The broccoli slaw was heavy with onions. Yuck. The BLT on sourdough had one piece of lettuce, one slice of tomato, a tiny squirt of mayo in the center of one piece of untoasted bread. Those three sandwiches and sides, plus one tea cost $38+. We politely approached the manager on duty and, although she seemed willing to listen, she really just made excuses and tried to shift the blame for issues that could have been easily resolved. Her demeanor and willingness to correct the mistake improved a bit after the second conversation, but I never did receive a decent sandwich. I left still hungry. Eventually, she offered to refund me the cost of the BLT, but said it would take a few days. I haven't seen it yet. Overall, the food was disappointing and overpriced. The chairs are horribly uncomfortable, and the place is noisy with no ambiance or decor of any kind. Go to Jason's Deli or McAlister's Deli. This locally-owned restaurant is simply not as good as the chains. read more

Went here one weekend with my friends and boy was I happy I came. Their menu is named after Biblical things which are just the cutest. and it gets even better, the food is incredible. I have gotten salads, sandwiches, and burgers from this place and they have all been incredible. I recommend the "all hail Ceaser" or "Old pestament." Also- Don't forget the sweet potato fries!! So Eastside Waco is in a Revival and a new eateries and on Yelp I found Revival. It's a old Eastside building made new with really great food. I got the Trinity sando with fries and it was good but the real kicker is they have one of my favorite Texas beers, Revolver Brewery Blood and Honey, on tap. A girl, who I think has a vested interest in this cool place, greeted us was very welcoming and very knowledgeable of their food and that everything is Texas made. This California boy is highly recommending Revival for all you Waco lunch needed. read more

We were out of town for the soft opening and we have been eager to come back and see for ourselves what everyone is talking about. We just went for lunch and Revival is incredible! Such friendly staff, a great atmosphere and everything we tried was outstanding. I had the Spurgeon salad, my husband had The Prodigal Son and my kids had The Old Pestament. All were absolutely fantastic by any standard. The sweet potato fries were fabulous too. There is something for everyone on the menu. Danielle, the owner, was walking around making sure everyone in the restaurant was satisfied and her staff were frequently coming around to refill water glasses and check on things.
