The Team Lauren, his patient coordinator, is absolutely wonderful. She was my go-to person throughout this entire process--from my initial consultation, to answering my endless emails, talking through surgery options, and helping me understand the costs. She never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and was my biggest cheerleader every step of the way. Nurse Sasha is incredibly patient and kind. She handled my pre-op and post-op appointments and always made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The anesthesiologist (I wish I could remember her name--I was a bundle of nerves that morning!) and operating room nurse Paula were also amazing. Right before I went under, I remember Paula saying, "We've got you, honey." It was such a small moment, but it immediately put me at ease and is something I'll never forget. The Consultation I originally came to Dr. Francis because I wanted a lower blepharoplasty. I was also considering a breast lift and possibly implants. During my consultation, he spent a tremendous amount of time going over my anatomy and explaining what procedures would create the most balanced, natural-looking results. He recommended a lower and upper blepharoplasty with fat transfer and also suggested an eyebrow lift. Initially, I was hesitant. As we continued talking, I realized he wasn't trying to sell me more procedures--he was treating my eyes as a whole rather than just one isolated concern. I think that's a huge difference. Sometimes it's hard to know whether a plastic surgeon is recommending procedures because they're necessary or because they're trying to upsell you. I can honestly say, with 100% confidence, that was never my experience with Dr. Francis. He ultimately leaves the decision up to you unless he genuinely believes he can't achieve your desired outcome. In the end, I moved forward with the upper and lower blepharoplasty, fat transfer, breast lift, and implants. (Although now I'm definitely kicking myself for not doing the brow lift too! ) The Cost I'll be honest--I had sticker shock. After sitting with it for a few days, I realized this wasn't something I wanted to "cheap out" on. This is my face. This is my body. I wanted the absolute best surgeon possible, even if it meant paying more than I would somewhere else. I was referred to Dr. Francis by a friend who is a nurse, and seeing her results and hearing about her experience gave me the confidence that I was making the right decision. Looking back now, I'd make the same decision all over again. The Results Again...I'm only four weeks post-op, but I'm already obsessed. When Dr. Francis removed my stitches from my eyes and breasts, I looked in the mirror and immediately started crying. The bags under my eyes--the ones I'd been self-conscious about for the last 10 years--were gone. My breasts were high, perky, and full again. After having two kids and breastfeeding both of them, I was ready to feel like myself again. I wanted to feel confident, feminine, and sexy. Dr. Francis gave that back to me. If this is how happy I am just one month after surgery, I genuinely cannot wait to see my results at six months and beyond. One Thing to Know Appointments can run a little longer than scheduled. At first, that might be frustrating, but you'll quickly realize why. Dr. Francis gives every single patient his full attention. He doesn't rush through appointments, and he takes the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer every question. Once you're in the room, you get that same level of care and attention. Final Thoughts If you're on the fence about having surgery--or trying to decide which surgeon to trust--I hope this review helps. For me, this wasn't just about looking better. People obviously think about the outcome of the surgery but the response of the office staff is just as important. Their patient consultant Diana is very informative, warm and thorough. She answered every question and if she didn't know found me my answer same day. Front desk always greets with a smile. Margie is the best! She has been with that practice for over twenty plus years and truly makes you feel like your family. She helps coordinate your needs after surgery. Extremely important! I needed help with my disability forms and she was prompt and made sure she kept me in the loop through the process. This team has been accommodating and given me great quality of care and should be acknowledged for going above and beyond. Just posting because I was looking for this when I was doing research…read more 1) they charge $100 just for a consult which many do free of charge 2) I called because I wanted a drainless procedure but the schedulers said they weren't sure they were still doing that despite what it says on the website 3) they charge 15k-18k for a tummy tuck which is quite a bit more expensive than others and the quote doesn't include anesthesia! How can you even have a surgery without anesthesia?! Of course it should be included in the quote. 4) they are booking out 5 months for just a consult--and you have to pay the consult fee upfront! 5) they are booking out surgeries 6 months so you would really need to plan on booking the surgery immediately at the time of your consult or you'll basically be waiting a year from scheduling a consult to surgery. Fortunately there are other surgeons that actually do drainless tummy tucks and don't charge a consult fee and can fit in consults within a few weeks to allow time to decide on a surgeon and prepare before scheduling the surgery. Sharing since I was looking for this information at the time I was evaluating surgeons. It just left me with a bad taste and makes me feel like it's a production mill, I may not get the personalized attention I'd want and they're a bit misleading.

I called around and got a few consultations, but the sales lady at Dr. Brown's office really got me. She sold me on the fact that Dr. Brown was a specialist in gyno and would be my best option. She also sold me on Dr. Brown being "so good" that he didn't need to leave tubes in me after the surgery. This is why it was botched. Other surgeons would have used drainage tubes which would have prevented this. The surgery ended up getting botched and my left nipple looks worse than before. A staph infection built up and eventually exploded outwards, ruining my nipple forever. The good: -Dr. Brown was a decently nice guy and most of his staff was cool. -When my nipple burst, they patched me up for free and quickly. -They offered to try and fix it at their cost. The bad: -They definitely could have acted quicker when the infection became obvious. They started by prescribing me the wrong antibiotics which allowed the infection to swell even more. -They tried to blame the infection on me, suggesting that I did not follow recovery guidelines after a couple of comments I made (this is bull, they were covering for themselves). -Dr. Brown kept gas lighting me on the follow up visits saying "wow, everything looks so good" and ignoring my displeasure at the results. -The NP dropped my valium on the HOSPITAL FLOOR and then MADE ME TAKE IT. Lady, for $9,000 get me another valium! Disgusting. -The emergency hotline for weekends is BS. After my nipple burst, I waited for 6 hours for a call back. Leaking puss and blood the entire time. -Dr. Brown did not shave the surgery site. I'm no surgeon, but I'm pretty sure you are suppose to do that. I'm a hairy guy. HOW WAS HE SUPPOSE TO SEE WHAT HE WAS DOING? I was shocked when I woke up and saw all of my hair was still there. Overall, I deeply regret choosing Dr. Brown as my surgeon. I should have gone with the guy who was gonna use the tubes and not listened to the sales lady. I feel just as self conscious about my body, if not more, than before. $9,000 wasted and I don't think it can be fixed.

Referred to Dr. Jaibaji for a Mohs closure on my nose. Had 4 appointments total (consult, closure,…read moresuture removal, follow-up). Consult went fine, I guess. (There was no appt reminder.) It was about a 5-minute appt so he could see the area he needed to close. Closure was scheduled for the day after my Mohs surgery. He told me to call the office if I was done early, and he'd try to squeeze in the closure on the same day. My Mohs was done quickly, so I called at 9:40AM to see if he could squeeze me in. The receptionist was irritated and confused. There was some yelling back and forth in the background and I was told to come in the following day for the scheduled appointment as Jaibaji was not available on this afternoon. The receptionist seemed pretty irritated. I apologized and reiterated that Jaibaji told me during the consult to call in to check. (Reminder: I have a fresh open wound and I'm getting attitude over the phone from people who told me to call them.) I then asked her if she could confirm my appt time (as there was no appt reminder sent - a recurring theme). She was irritated again and asked me my name, then took two minutes to find my appt time. Closure day: I walked into the reception area, sat down. "Your co-pay is $35." I look around. No one else is in the reception area. All I see is a forehead and hair behind the back of a flat screen monitor. That was my greeting on the day of my closure. I paid. The closure went fine. It's my first, so I don't have anything to compare it to. He was a little sloppy with the anesthetic, some of which ran down into the corner of my eye. (I got to drive home with 8 stitches in my face and a numb, watery eyeball.) The only care guidance provided was that it was okay to do anything I wanted (i.e. take a shower that night). This was not good guidance. The conversation during the closure was interesting. Dr. Jaibaji entered into an existential AI rant and told me the reason I lost my job in IT was due to AI. It was not, but he didn't want to hear that. He only wanted to hear that AI will take everyone's job. Not exactly an enjoyable conversation for when someone's cutting your face open. When I returned for suture removal, I received the exact same greeting as before (none, just a stated copay amount due). The suture removal was quick. A slightly gentler hand and the ability to wash my face afterwards would have been appreciated, but it was a relief to get the stitches out. My follow-up appointment coincided with Federal jury duty. Had a reminder been sent, I would have called to reschedule ahead of time. They were understanding and told me to reschedule when my jury service concluded. I have not bothered as I'm sure any follow-up to this level of care would be pointless. The office has not followed-up. My nose is healing fine...I'm taking care of it. I'm leveraging online guidance and advice from people who've had Mohs surgery before. Strange bedside manner, unprofessional support staff, and inaccurate recovery guidance. Very weird experience. Can't recommend, unfortunately.
