After my groupon ended, I signed up for a membership. The staff and members are extremely motivating and inspiring. The workouts are never the same so you don't get bored! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their health & fitness and anyone who finds it hard to stay motivated working out on their own.

There are no strange workout machines that can be GYMtimidating, or people that pass judgement because we are all there to do the same thing, and hit our goals. The workouts are hard, some days harder than others, but so worth it. They are open various hours (starting at 530AM) and they do a lot of promoting to encourage clients to come on in and give them a chance (free 3 day when you sign up online, Groupon discounts, 6 weeks transformation projects, etc...)to show what can be accomplished with the right techniques. Yes, you will most likely lift or push a tire, do burpees, and feel like you're dying a little inside in the process, but I promise you, its worth it. You will feel like the trainers may be your worst enemy, but they care enough to see you succeed.

All the owners are amazing, all of the members push each other to do better every single day and we all show up for each other! I'm going to send some pandemic appreciation to a CrossFit gym I honestly haven't gotten to know…read morevery well, yet. When our neighborhood studio shut down, we toured everything in our zip code, taking free introductory classes, and to this day our experience at CrossFit Petroglyph was the most enjoyable and memorable. We ended up meeting two of the instructors, Scott and Belinda, part of a class of just eight or so people. Scott was super accommodating and brought us into the fold on a whim. It wasn't a great day for beginners to drop in, but we did our best, and Scott corrected our form throughout. Nine months into a pandemic, we're not planning to return to a gym anytime soon, but when that day comes, we'll definitely consider Petroglyph. A little while back we called and learned they'd taken some precautions, keeping the air flowing, spacing and sanitizing constantly, so if you're comfortable with that situation and you're looking for an exercise routine that carefully tracks your lifelong progress, this is a good spot to go get your personal gun show.

I try, I just lollygag around. I even own Olympic weightlifting equipment and haven't touched it. 3) I like group classes, I get competitive with myself and work harder. I took a free class today and enjoyed it. It was a benchmark row workout, which gives me a good starting point to reflect back on. It was hard. I sweat. I love the variation of lifting and cardio. Personally, I hate running. I opted to speed walk since I was new and wanted to get used to the program. I burned over 700 calories today! It was so much fun. The ladies in class were supportive, the music was upbeat and fit well, the coach was fantastic, and it was all around a great experience. This month they are offering a free month of membership if you join, so I went ahead and joined and bought the heartrate monitor outright. I am excited to get back into shape!

I just recently moved from AZ and had a LA Fitness membership. This location is really close to me…read more Half the main workout area is about 4 rows of cardio machines, maybe like 25% is a functional fitness area. The rest is machines along with a spot for a dumbbell area and there is a row of 4-5 smith machines. There is 1 leg press machine that you can use with free weights. I've never used the locker room, so I can't speak on that. Otherwise this place is fine, it's always been clean and I've only interacted with the front desk when checking in and it's been fine. This facility doesn't have everything I would want in a gym for my personal needs, but it will not stop me from coming here because it is so close and has always been clean. There is plenty of parking, but it could use an update on painting lines. As long as you know what equipment is at whatever workout facility you want to workout at either within PF or outside, it's on the consumer to make that decision of what they want to do. I'm taking down a star because the Internet has been spotty and laggy for me in there, I don't ever use public wifi. This is when I need to check my email or load up an app on my phone, it can take a while for it to load. With that all being said this facility is great.. if you choose to work out here, just be aware of what equipment is available.

I'm used to a gym where the staff talked to customers, walked around and offered help. Most of the time the new people don't seem too friendly, like your bothering them. I was super disappointed one night when a new employee apparently went on break and proceeded to join me in the massage chair room.....as she talked on her phone....loudly. Oh well. I will still go there! Hell I might even work there if I had a chance! But I would smile and be more engaging.
