Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil Change (0W-40)- A complete oil change using Mobil 1 full synthetic oil, along with a new OEM oil filter. They also allowed me to provide my own engine flush bottle, which I greatly appreciated, car has 213k original miles. Courtesy Inspection - A thorough multi-point check to identify any potential issues. Additional Oil (Above 5 Quarts) - Since my Audi requires more than 5 quarts, they added the correct additional amount to ensure proper lubrication. Engine Bay Cleaning & Fluids Top-Off- More on this below, but after addressing a minor issue, they went the extra mile to clean my engine bay and top off my fluids. A Minor Issue & How They Handled It: A few days after my visit, I noticed an oil leak, which turned out to be from a slightly loose oil filter housing. These things happen, but how a shop corrects a mistake says everything about their integrity and professionalism. I returned and spoke politely with the manager, explaining my concern. Without hesitation, they: - Inspected my vehicle immediately - Confirmed and fixed the issue on the spot - Cleaned my engine bay to remove any leaked oil residue - Topped off all my fluids at no charge Their commitment to making things right without excuses or delays is why I will continue to trust them with my vehicles. From the start, the experience here was frustrating and unprofessional. After diagnosing the issue, they called to tell me what was and wasn't covered by my warranty. I chose to fix only what would be covered. But without calling me back for approval, they went ahead and performed a repair they later claimed was only partially covered, forcing me to pay the difference out of pocket. That alone is shady and unacceptable. I also paid for a diagnostic, yet the exact same dashboard warning lights I came in with were still there when I picked up the car. Their explanation? That both my main and auxiliary batteries were dead and it would cost nearly $1,000 to fix. Interesting, considering my previous mechanic had just tested them and found them to be completely fine. When I came to pick up my car, it wouldn't start, which I assumed validated their battery claim. I was wrong. Instead of helping me or offering a timely solution, they had me sitting there like an afterthought, clearly uninterested in helping since I'd declined their overpriced battery replacement. I finally got a jump and took it home, only to have AAA test both batteries and confirm they were perfectly fine. Then I noticed a part missing, the air intake for the A/C that sits over the battery compartment. I called to speak with the manager, Cody, who acted completely clueless. Then, after giving a vague suggestion to bring it back in, he hung up on me. Completely rude and uncalled for. Still trying to get my car functioning, I brought it to O'Reilly. They again confirmed both batteries were good. I mentioned a "low key fob battery" warning I had noticed, and the associate suggested that might be the issue. I replaced it for $12.99 and guess what? Problem solved. My car starts just fine. Let me be very clear. The warning lights I originally brought the car in for are still on, and I now have to take it somewhere else to get them properly diagnosed and repaired. I spent nearly $500 here for a "fix" that didn't fix anything, a misdiagnosis, and to top it off, an arrogant manager and careless technicians. I have no mechanical background, yet I figured out more about my car's issue than this so-called professional shop. It's either incompetence or a blatant attempt to take advantage of me, or both.
