I took my car to their workshop due to an oil pressure problem, it was the only problem my car had, they charged me 1,300 dollars and the problem was not solved because maybe it was another part and not what they thought and now they are asking me for 500 Plus, apart from the fact that my car now has 4 problems that my car didn't have, so I don't recommend them because they only want money. I was trying to find good, honest, straight forward mechanic as I moved to Kyle, Texas from Alaska. I went to the car dealership and was quoted $2,100 plus for a coolant leak repair job. Potter had it for two days, put the right parts, and installed the fluid. They pressure tested everything and double checked other coolant leak vulnerabilities (i.e. turbo chargers) in my vehicle. It cost $360.00!!!! That was lower than their quote and well below what Ford quoted. I have a new shop I will use for any repairs I cannot do myself. It's Potter Automotive. Adam is the man! Adam is seriously the best! I made an appt after hearing a weird rattling noise at the back of my car. Assumed it was something loose with the rear tire. When I got there, he had me drive it until we heard the noise, which is actually a great idea, since he was expecting something completely different. We got back to the shop and he looked under my bumper and saw that some piece was missing that holds it securely to the car. He went to grab the piece from his garage, popped it in, and that was it. I tried to pay him for his time, and he said just to bring it back next time when I needed service. He also gave me some great advice on what I might need to do in the future, as this is a new (used) car for me, and I want to keep it in good shape. I have never had such an honest mechanic in my life. As a woman, it's so hard to find someone you can trust with car stuff. When I called to schedule the appointment, there was no waiting. I was seen within 30 minutes by Adam. He was courteous, efficient and had me in and out of there within a few minutes. Although I came in for an oil change, Adam also replaced the inside door handle that I had been struggling to do myself.
