Fast forward to today, I reached out because some guy came to service our pool (only knew because I'm home with a sick kid). The owner called me and said we'd been receiving service the whole time (news to us) and he'd like to start over. Then he made it clear he only meets clients before 3 pm through the week, and that it seemed like this wouldn't work. With all of the issues created by lack of communication on the businesses part, all we wanted was to meet face to face for a few minutes to set things up right. At that point, it was clear he didn't want our business. I'm shocked by all of this because the company gets great reviews, but they definitely aren't hurting for clients and their customer service is lackluster at best. We felt like just a number on a page from day 1. Definitely don't recommend this company. It's expensive compared to others and not worth the money based on what we experienced. We ended up having to do all kinds of service and troubleshooting in our own because the tech wasn't doing their job apparently anyways.

The maintenance guy would come in my backyard and then just leave without telling me if there were plans to fix the situation. I finally let them know I am moving to another service company. I am then sent a bill for $400! When the new company came to look at the pool, I was informed that there was no chlorine. The new company had it up and running in 5 days! I just can't get over the fact that I had no pool for two months of this summer, but they are charging extra. I'm now getting late fees while trying to figure out the billing. They even had me buy a new sweep, but with no chlorine or anyone servicing, I'm wondering if I needed to spend that $600. Also, I feel like he would still be coming over once a week to service my green pool if I didn't speak up.

Wanted to give them a chance. Pool drainage kept getting postponed "too hot" will do it in October. By Thanksgiving still not done. The comment that finally pushed my mother to cancel them was "don't need to clean it, you're having it drained anyway" but they continued to bill for the full amount. Very pushy and somewhat aggressive administrator during phone calls. Always have a prepared excuse. 3 months later, still blaming the previous service provider. They couldn't figure it out and eventually gave up, telling me they didn't stock the part and that I should try ordering it online. I then found Benchmark Pool Supply online and went to their store at 3017 W. Bullard Ave in Fresno. The sales rep immediately identified the part, but they didn't have it in stock. Instead of sending me away, he called Bryan at their other store at 811 Barstow in Clovis. They FaceTimed and discussed the issue, and Bryan confirmed he had the complete valve assembly at a very reasonable price. I had my pool equipment fixed within 5 minutes. It really makes a tremendous difference who you work with--saving time, money, and gas. You can go to a store with inexperienced employees who don't seem to care, or you can work with knowledgeable, caring individuals like the staff at Benchmark Pool Supply.
