We chose this salon…read morespecifically for its high reviews and spa-type setting, and we were looking for a place as local as possible so we could make a habit of regularly visiting for manis, pedis, and facial treatments. When we first visited the address on a Wednesday at 11am, they were closed. We were disappointed with the very-limited hours of operation (the schedule posted on Yelp is inaccurate), but coordinated to come back as soon as we could anyway, trying to be optimistic. Today we visited at noon, two hours before closing (which is 2pm on a Saturday). Nobody was present in what we assume was the reception area and nobody greeted us, even when the door chimed, so we walked into the back (the business is out of an older house,) and found two ladies with clients receiving manicures, who immediately greeted us with cold, annoyed stares, not saying a word. My wife immediately apologized, feeling like she wasn't welcome because of the awkward and intense glare from the employees. She explained that this was our first visit, and asked if clients were seen by appointment only. One lady hesitantly responded in a deadpan voice that they take walk-ins sometimes. When my wife asked if she could get a manicure, the ladies looked at each other simultaneously and said, "No, don't have time," then continued their work, pretending not to notice us still standing there like idiots. Nobody offered to schedule a future appointment or even offered an apology. It's hard to put into words the overwhelming feeling of snotty judgement we both received. We walked ourselves out of the dark residence, feeling icky. My wife and I enjoy bicycling around our little town, especially lately in the springtime, and were dressed in active attire when we visited. Based on the "greeting" we'd received, we questioned whether we were being judged based on our appearance. We were not treated with dignity and respect whatever the case was, and we feel far too unwelcome to return.

Recently booked this place for my daughter to get some knotless braids. Booking the appointment was easy and I appreciate the amount of reminders sent. The shop is located in a shopping center, so parking is not an issue. It was very clean and beautiful inside. They also have a mini store in front, where you can find a good amount of hair supplies for purchase. My daughter was seated as soon as she arrived and the women who braided her hair was very fast. The appointment was listed for 4 hrs (3-7pm) and the stylist finished exactly at 7pm, so I was pretty impressed. The parts are neat and the braids are the perfect size for my pre-teen. The only thing I wasn't really a fan of is how hot it was. Not sure if they have an AC system or if it was just too soon in the season to use it but it was hot outside and the only air flowing was from the front door being left open. But with leaving the door open comes with flying insects coming in and out swarming around . Also, I feel like they end their child pricing too soon, as my daughter is only 11 but the kids pricing stops at 10. However, this doesnt take away from the great service provided.
