I submitted a Yelp request they called and said they would be out on July 10 at 1000 am. When I…read morecalled at 1130 as they didn't show up they said to reply to Joe as I needed to confirm my appointment. They didn't want to waste their time if I wasn't there. I told him you made the appointment I agreed as far as I am concerned it was set. I did that when I set the appointment up 2 days prior. I called Joe he said he would be out in a couple of hours. 3pm I called and he asked if I could send him photos, which I did and yet no response. Now whose waste of time was it? Mine on all accounts. I do not recommend them.

Supposed to start October but didnt get permit submitted till November, they asked for 40k down to submit permit and start building. I decided at the end of November to walk away from the project, the permit was not approved yet and the city was asking for measurements. They told me they needed to come in and measure for permitting and ordering. I told them I didn't want to do the project, the next day I was informed that the 40 k down would not be returned because I signed a contract. I tried to work with them to maybe do other work on the house and they refused, either the addition gets built or I forfeit that money. So they kept all 40 k. They also pushed forward to do my siding early on, and honestly I should have been paying more attention and put a hold on the project. They left the top row of siding off because they intended on finishing siding later after completion of the addition. They did paint so they could say that the 18k siding project was complete, but not only was I missing the top row of siding but they didn't caulk any joint. I went all winter with out my house weather proofed. UPDATE: The owner called me july 9th. He started out with letting me know that he didn't know about what was going on. I informed him that I tried multiple times to contact him. He wanted to make things right in return for taking down the review. His offer was to finish up the siding, I couldn't agree to that. We talked about what he may owe me. He didn't think that I was owed anything, as my 40 k deposit was all spent on administrative costs for my project, before we even break ground on my addition. I informed him that I gave him 10k in the beginning to cover administrative costs. But he still insisted these were all costs they took. My records show that I withdrew the 40k deposit Oct 25, and I cancelled the project Nov 22, 40k gone in 30 days? He also slightly touched on how legally he probably didn't owe me anything. I agreed with him, he may legally owe me nothing. But I brought up that morally it may be the wrong thing to do. He has been trusted with my home, and morality is pretty important for me to trust him. After our talk I went through my contract again, the total contract was 105k*. 10k plus 40k was used on administrative fees, that's half the contract. If you factor in the siding cost, I'm in 70k. That math only leaves 35k to buy materials, pay labor, and make a profit on my second story addition. None of this made sense to me. Update: There you go public. As can be seen from their response, 2FL is justified and in the right..... Although there contract numbers seem different than mine. And yes a personal issue was part of me cancelling as I explained to the sales man, I was and still am in parenting litigation and it was taking an unexpected turn. This litigation was going to now eat some serious cash flow so I can have visitation with my 3 year old. And yes parenting litigation may put reviewing a company on the back burner. What I cant understand is I don't believe the owner said anything about material in our last call, just administrative cost. They never entered my house for final measurements. UPDATE: while working on finishing up my siding myself, found rot in a spot that now I have to un do their work to fix. The contract said they would repair rot, it looks like they just sided over it instead. UPDATE: I have wrapped up the siding on my house. Almost a year later and its finally weather proofed. I just cant beleive 2fl left me hanging like this, they kept every bit of money and couldn't even offer to finish the siding that I had paid in full. They left my house to rot in the weather after I had given them a total of 70k.

They saved us money by being competitively priced and without cutting corners. Tony walked my husband and me through all that would need to be done to insure that our house would be safe from any further water damage. The previous owners had a deck installed without flashing and a dryer vent incorrectly installed costing us time and money. I'm telling my friends and family about this company. I have such peace of mind knowing that as we find more things wrong with our house, Tony and his crew will do it right the first time and only charge for what is done. I was really surprised that there were any negative reviews because that wasn't our experience at all. Maybe it was a different crew back then.

Additionally, Sound Siding has done a recent $150,000 re-siding project on a West Seattle condo building where I'm a Board member. Their crew covered-up at least one dryer vent with siding by mistake, their grave oversight only recently discovered by accident when our dryer vents were cleaned. Dozens if not a hundred loads of wet laundry have been dried with the moisture being evaporated either UNDER the new siding or into the crawl space where it can cause damage like black mold!! This is an appalling mistake, to cover up a dryer vent with siding! Although Tony's crew does competent work, my own $15,000 deck project in 2015 should have taken only 2-3 months, but dragged on for 6 months while Tony pursued larger condo projects. Tony also told me the unfortunate story of his daughter, and I am sorry for anyone who loses a loved one, especially a child. He sat at my dining table for 2 hours in 2015 and cried when he shared the story, and we got tears in our eyes as well. At the end of his talk, I wrote him a check for $10,000-12,000 to cover the 80-90% partially completed work. Next, 6 months of broken promises went by before our deck was finished and the scaffolding removed. For 6 months we had no deck railing and a 30 foot drop off our master bedroom deck, with plastic and scaffolding left on 3 stories of our house because the project was 90% complete but Tony wouldn't finish the all-important last 10% to put the railing in. At one point, I began to doubt the stories Tony told me claiming our deck railing was on order, so we actually called the deck railing manufacturer and discovered he'd never phoned in the order for our railing despite repeated assurances he'd done so. There were many days he promised Bruce would work on our deck where Bruce just wouldn't show and we'd be left leaving voicemails and texts for Tony that went unreturned. Sound Siding was the epitome of a nightmare contractor experience. While I feel badly he lost his daughter so many years ago, the fact that the story was shared in what I thought was a heartfelt conversation than was then followed by a 6 month nightmare really rubs me the wrong way, and I still remember it 3.5 years later. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but we got burned so many days with Sound Siding. I would never do business with Sound Siding again.

We first learned about Wise Choice through Yelp, and although we were initially nervous about choosing a contractor for such a large job (they gave us the best estimate, by far!) without a personal recommendation, we couldn't be happier with our decision. They were great to work with throughout the entire process, from architectural and engineering plans, permitting, and the actual construction. The project manager, Sergiy, and foreman, Bogdan, were very honest, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. The project was completed pretty much on budget (with only a couple of unforeseen issues outside of their control) and on time. We love the results, and several people have commented that the addition looks like it should have been there all along. We can't recommend Wise Choice highly enough!

While other siding company estimators tried to apply time pressure to decisions and were very "salesy" in nature, Ryan felt very transparent, answered the questions I had, and worked on my time. Pricing was competitive, and scheduling ended up being pretty straighforward, with my project starting a week before original projections. The crew assigned to my project was Jose and Ismael Fernandez; from the moment they set foot on the project site these guys were respectful, courteous, and professional. At each step during the project they checked in with me on project status, and ensured I was happy with the work/results. They answered all my (somewhat basic) questions, and were very customer focused throughout the project. Their attention to detail and overall quality of work was really appreciated and made the whole residing experience much more enjoyable. I would definitely request them again should I ever be looking to reside another house in the area. The project manager Alejandro was similarly very customer focused, easy to get ahold of with questions, and worked to ensure I was pleased with results at each phase of the project. Overall I was very pleased with the end result of my residing project, and would recommend anyone in the market for residing work to strongly consider SidePro. They are professional at each stage of the project, and really do care about customer experience and satisfaction with the end product.

I sent out my request to many siding companies on Yelp and Brisema is one of very few companies that are willing to follow up on my project and did an onsite estimation while most companies simply just rejected my request since it seems to be too small. Professional: After the onsite estimate, they correctly pointed out that the entire chimney siding needs a replacement while the rest siding of the house can still last for 3-5 years. This later on being approved to be quite aligned with the report of a professional inspection company that I hired. Also they offered a pretty competitive price at very beginning instead of like some other companies which tended to charge me 3x ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The work was done in time and in a very respectful quality even if the weather was sometime really bad around this time of the year! Kudos to the team and huge thanks!
