The guest bathroom was one of two remaining areas in the house that have not been remodeled. Kitchen being the other room! I didn't take any pics of the original bathroom, but you can imagine a lot of ugly yellow-ish and white surfaces. The flooring was some single piece yellow vinyl. Not that the house was cheaply made, but the original materials were mostly "meh", with a lot of yellow hues. Anyway, I had a few requirements from DHC on what the new bathroom needed: 1 - More warm colors. 2 - No vinyls or linoleums. Only tiles and wood. 3 - Tub walls needed to be tiles, no plastic. 3 - Prefer black colored trims. Render #1 - Using shower curtains. Render #2 - Using sliding glass doors. We picked #2. Unfortunately, the glass doors are not yet done at the time of this review, so nothing to show yet. If I was to guess, it'd probably end up looking a lot like in the render, but that's pretty much how much we liked the end result. Communication was great, we got offline end-of-day updates just about every day. Every effort was made by the contractors to localize their work and keep things as tidy as possible. In the end, we got exactly what we wanted. The final result looked exactly like in the render, with expected deviations based on adjustments that we made during construction. We bought unbuilt cabinets and had a contractor family/friends do the install. they look awesome. Sophie at Pius actually drew out the cabinet plans and they came out amazing. My only negative (which doesn't effect their rating for me) is that the pick up process from their warehouse is annoying - they have one worker processing the pickups who was very unprofessional. nonetheless, can't wait to use them again.

Last time I visited, it was near closing time and Carrie told me that I needed to leave the store. After I explained that I needed to walk out an elderly family member she rolled her eyes and sighed with obvious annoyance. I did not say anything. However the next time I visited the store I had a very similar interaction where I was putting away my shopping cart. I guess I moved a cart I wasn't supposed to for whatever reason and Carrie runs over and lets out the loudest groan I've ever heard. I couldn't even believe this happened. I don't understand how some one like this is employed at this store much less a manager. Extremely awful experience, the obvious attitude from a customer service employee is a first for me.

Im just going to say this like it is...Because Im still in Shock , at what Jack did here today…read more We have heated flooring (tiles) that Jack installed 7 years ago (excellent job )... Well 2 weeks ago the floor stopped heating.I remembered his company name and I sent him a text asking if he could possibly take a look and so forth....He text right back and said Sat noon I said cool. Today he showed up right on time and he had brought a new Thermostat, This thermostat was a much better thermostat . He said lets give this new one a try and see if thats it...He installed the new one and when I turned the power on It lit up and the floor started heating. I was super happy because I knew this was going to make the wife really happy.... I asked him what do I owe him and he said just the thermostat and showed me the receipt of 274.00 I said ok he said he would send over an invoice later today and we could pay it then... About 2 hours later he sent me a text asking if the floor was heating...I said yes thank you again....I added that we are waiting for the invoice so we could payhim.. I got kinda busy and didnt realize he sent me another text which read...Todays on me... and he said he appreciated our business and the great review I left back 7 yrs ago , which brought him some business...
