I understand the first reviewer did not like Revo, but I beg to differ! I was in there the one time the owners' daughter was in the shop. She was there because she had been very sick, and her parents needed to keep a close eye on her as she recovered. She has never been there before or since. I didn't have kids until I was 30, and I understand that prior to having any, you may not be able to understand how unavoidable childcare and sick kids issues really are. I have been to Revo several times, and the it covers the two most important bases: it's CLEAN and the staff is COMPETENT. I have never seen them give a pedicure without immediately cleaning and sanitizing the foot bath. The files and other tools used on your hands and feet come from sealed sterile packages. I have always had good results with my gel nails and my pedis. My gel nails looked so real, that several of my friends went out and got them done at Revo as well. I always enjoy talking to Peter; he's witty and funny, and he honers any special requests I make about how I want my nails done. The decor is a definite step up from the standard nail salon. Sadly there are no large glossy photos of ladies hands holding donuts, cash, or car keys, nor is there any fiber optic art. The tacky plastic signage that lists prices has been replaced with a menu of sorts that offers a surprisingly large assortment of services. You'll have to settle for clean furniture, subdued wall color, and a relaxing vibe instead. read more

Went here for first time. Told the woman 5 times that she was cutting my cuticles too much. She kept cutting them, so there is no cuticle at all. She cut one so bad that it started bleeding everywhere. No apology. It kept bleeding and she kept having to stop to apply some random liquid on it that she touched the open wound with the nozzle. Who knows where it had been? Not sanitary. Took forever - was there for 1 hour and 15 min (shellac mani) and that was without hand moisturizer - I just made her stop since it was taking so long. You have to tip prior so I asked her how much (twice). She told me the wrong price so I overtipped and didn't see until I saw the receipt. By that time, my hand is throbbing so I just wanted to get out of there. Will not go back. read more

This is the ONLY place I would go for mani/pedi! The staff is friendly, the shop is very clean, and the work they do is excellent. I've had a couple of manicures and pedicures here, and it's always been great. The family that owns the place seems really nice, and service is always friendly. It's clean, comfortable, and well-decorated. They have great massage chairs for while you're getting your pedicure. They seemed to have several regulars, which is always a good sign for a nail place. I've never had an appointment but never waited more than ten minutes. It's a little bit more expensive than your normal strip mall place but a lot cheaper than the ritzier spas. I went here today with a friend for a manicure, pedicure, and brow wax. I was definitely in need of all three of these since I hadn't had them in a while and the service was great! The store doesn't look like much from the outside, but they have a nice set up inside. The chairs for the pedicure were very comfortable (they even leaned back!) and the woman that assisted us were very friendly. Overall, my experience was very good and the prices were perfect. The only reason that I didn't give them a 5th star was because I felt like I was in there a lot longer than I needed to be. The entire thing took about 2 hours and I feel like it could have been faster. But, if you are not too busy and wanting a relaxing afternoon pampering yourself, this is a wonderful place to go. This is the only nail salon I will go to. I have tried many and find that they do an excellent job and have high quality work. I get just regular paint on my nails and they do not chip, or have decline in them for at least a week some times a bit more. I just dropped in here to do a facial wax. She did a fantastic job and was extremely thorough. The wax seemed really good as it didn't hurt and it didn't make my face break out. I've been going to Revo Nails for a couple years now and think they do a wonderful job. No one has done a better pink and white (including re bases) than Peter. The salon is decorated beautifully and their prices can't be beat for the quality and service. Yes, they do speak their home language to each other but I have not been into a salon where they don't do that. It doesn't bother me and when I chat with anyone myself, I have no problems. I discovered this place a year and a half ago when looking, in desperation, for a salon that was open on Sundays. It was a wonderful surprise that their prices were very comparable to the other salon I had been going to, which had always given me a "head em' up and herd em' out" attitude. Revo is not at all like that though - they take the time to make you feel pampered. I'm not sure about the reviewer on here who stated that the young lady did not speak English, as I have not had that experience. As far as people speaking another language in front of her - apparently she isn't around bilingual people very often. Perhaps she should get out more. Awful experience and I didn't even get my nails done here! I wanted to soak off my acrylics and get a shellac manicure. The nail stylist, one- could barely speak a word of English, and two- the second one in the Salon was very rude and even rolled here eyes at me when I asked how much it would cost for the services I wanted. Worst place ever! I have been going here since May and being charged $28 for a shellac. I was told it was so expensive because they charge $5 extra to take off polish. I went in today with no polish and was charged the same price. When I asked why, they said it was the same price no matter what. I gave them a piece of my mind and as I walked out, they were all laughing at me. DO NOT go to this salon. I booked an appointment over a week in advance to have my nails done for my wedding. I arrived on time and still had to wait. I showed the girl what I wanted (gentle faded pink french tip) and she assured me that she could do it. After 40 minutes she said it was done and the result was an orange base, sloppy- slightly lighter shade of orange and a white tip. I told her that it wasnt what I asked for and she said she made a mistake and would do it again. She spent 10 minutes talking to another woman about how to do it and I asked her, again, if she would be able to and she said she would do it right. Another 40 minutes and the exact orange mess was the result. I asked her to take it all off and that I needed to go somewhere else as I was now running late for my rehersal dinner. I went to leave and they STILL charged me for a service they did not complete! I left in tears and sat in the parking lot calling other nail salons in the area trying to find a place to help me. I finally found and amazing salon close by where the owner squeezed me in and did a perfect job (the first time) and very quickly. I was still late to my own rehersal. Had I not gone to this place, I would have saved myself, and others, a lot of time and stress. DO NOT go to this place, they are rude, do not do a good job and their business practice is beyond un- ethical. read more
