Love this place! For many reasons! The clothing is higher end BUT the pricing is good and fair. They have the clothing separated by store, then by product. So if you are really into Chico clothing, it has a rack specifically for that store. But if you are just wanting to browse - the other racks have a mix of all stores. The customer service is excellent. A very nice woman named Jo is quick with a 'Welcome to Revolve', as you enter. But even more, she is super helpful! I was looking for an outfit for a certain event, and she not only gave good advice, but walked around the shop looking for things to show me! ! No pressure selling, just very good customer service!! Although they are much more expensive than the neighboring Plato's Closet, they do offer much higher end clothing in terms of brand names and they cater to an older demographic. Lots of floral prints and mature styles. They have a great dressing room area which unlike Plato's has lots of room to hang clothing and change. You can bring many items in at once to try on which makes shopping easier. Both times I've been in, the ladies working have been entirely personable and although they are too chatty for my style, my mom would totally dig the small talk. read more

I went into the kids and tweens store to sell some clothing items. The store appeared to have nicer clothing options than other kids consignment and resale chains, if you know who I'm talking about. However, I think these selling situations always depend on who the employee is and what the store is looking for. It's annoyingly subjective, yet I continue to subject myself to it. Anyway, back to the review. Unlike other chains, this store only has clothing. I didn't see any toys or baby supplies, like strollers or bassinets. My experience was pleasant enough but I haven't decided whether or not I'd go back. If you have kids though and are in need of some nice pieces, I'd say Revolve is worth a shot. read more

Walked in holding a bulky bin and was told to wait while the owner shot the breeze with her employee just to be told they will don't accept any bins and their processing Time is 10-15 days. I poked around 30 mins and the woman just stood there the whole time without reviewing anything or caring for the store . Never selling or buying here again. The inventory has steeply declined. Usually I find Madewell, Free People, and Lululemon. Sad to see lesser brands instead. Good inventory was SLIM. Selling used bathing suits and bras? not to mention the prices have SKYROCKED. Just got buy a new top at Marshall's, the prices are competitive for the same brands. So sad to see this place go bad. read more

I stopped by this store while I was in the area and I was a bit disappointed by the prices and selection. Everything was great quality and condition, I just didn't see much that was my taste, style, and within the budget I was hoping to spend. Just my personal preference, no fault to the shop at all. The biggest issue I had with my visit was that the ladies did not stop gossiping and complaining long enough to greet me, ask if I needed help, or interact with me at all. The tension and negativity made me really uncomfortable so I just left without buying anything and I don't plan to return. read more

I used to shop at this Revolve store when it first opened. My shopping experience was so much fun...but I now refuse to shop there. There was a lady behind the counter that was so aggressive that I felt borderline harassed by her. Also I did not need any assistance from the helpers in the store, but they insisted on following me around and giving advice when I did not need or want it. I was so put off by my last experience there, I simply walked out of the store and I refuse to go back. Too bad that the staff running that place have no manners. My suggestion is that the entire staff need to get training in how to interact with customers in a calm respectful way, and to leave their attitudes at home before come to work each day. read more

Seller's Review: I should have read the other reviews on here. I brought in high brand clothing. I don't really care if they don't take the clothes actually. But I expect to be treated like a human being and not treated disrespectfully because my clothing doesn't meet their expectations. Everyone has their own style. This middle aged woman with glasses and short dark hair checked me out. She just said why my clothing was not up to their par, and with such a loud voice as to purposefully announce it to the whole store. OK, I get it you spend a lot of time with clothes so you have high taste. But we were just trying to see if our clothes would make a few cents on the side. There is no need to be so snotty about it. I nicely thanked them for them time with a smile, but I feel like it was more of a humiliation fest then trying to sell. I don't need to hear a loud speech about my clothes and how it doesn't meet this woman's taste... on loud speakers for whole of Cleveland to hear!! hah. I went to Plato's Closet and Avalon Exchange. They took some of my stuff, and when they didn't take some of it they were NICE about it and thanked me for bringing it in. read more

I stopped by here quickly on my way home from work since I live close by. I wanted to see how the reviews held up and also what type of selection they had. First, the reviews are correct in regard to the employee demeanor. They have nasty attitudes, but I don't mind since I didn't need to solicit assistance to peruse the store. I think they had a nice selection, the items seemed to be in ideal shape and were trendy both in style and brand. The store reminded me of a Plato's closet setup, a little too cluttered for my taste but they have a lot of items and limited space so it's to be expected. I did bring in 1 item to sell, simply to gauge the value they place on designer items. I brought in a pair of $130 (retail) NWT Freddy jeans that were a gift and not my style, so I was open to parting with them. I was offered $3, which was politely declined and well worth the effort to post on Poshmark. Certainly a better store for shopping than selling, you could snag some great deals. Excellent selection of clothes, accessories, and shoes! A wide array of fresh styles (everything from traditional to modern to bohemian to preppy). Trendy options and even one of a kind treasures! I have found VERY sharp dresses and slacks here. Even though this consignment store is on the pricier side, they do run INCREDIBLE sales!!!! The staff is always kind & professional. Buying customer: I came in on a Sunday, they close early on sundays, lots of items to browse through. They were having a sale of 70-80% off so I scored major on big designer names, I'm talking Burberry, Versace, coach, Trina Turk, Tory Burch, Armani, etc. staff was great and friendly. Their prices without a sale are amazing too. So if you want to have designer items at a good prices, this is the place to go. I didn't sell anything to them but based on their selling prices, I couldn't imagine them giving you much for your item. So you can't take it personal if they give you a lowball price when you paid $400 and they offer less then $200 for example. When I was there they did have a lot of items ppl brought in to sell and they had 3 people working on the loads. Seemed like they were pretty picky with what they took cause everything on the sales floor was in prestige condition, if it wasn't, it was usually a makeup stain from someone trying on the garment. They did have shoes but not a lot. I would have liked to see more shoes there. read more

I am honored to be the first to write a review about this fabulous store called Revolve!! I went out expecting to sell some of my clothes and get a few bucks, but I got so much more out of my experience. When I walked in, it was like any other normal resale shop, drop off my clothes for them to look at and then come back in a half an hour to pick up. As it was my FIRST time in this store, I didn't really know how the clothes were separated or what brands they actually sold. When I asked where things were, this lady, which I found out to be the owner later, actually showed me around the entire store and explained the layout. She was probably the first ever to give me, a helpless customer in need of direction, a tour. I was even more impressed that when I mentioned I had brought a few things to Plato's and was surprised that they had not taken it, she was more than willing to look at them again as she owns Revolve and Plato's. This is the type of customer service you never find these days. Overall my experience of this store was more than positive. They carry great brands like J Crew, Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Escada, Express, Liz Claiborne, Michael Kors, Nordstrom and many more. There were enough shoes and purses here for any shopaholic to be happy as a clam. I know I was. Things which I appreciate about this store: 1. The organization! It's clean and uncluttered. The fashion displays add a nice touch and having items sorted by label is pretty impressive. 2. The employees! They are remarkably upbeat and committed to doing their jobs well and cooperating with one another. Positive staff chemistry = successful business. (I hope someone at the top of Revolve gets the memo...and compensates them fairly.) 3. The dressing rooms! They are very spacious and well-lit. I would change 2 things about Revolve: 1. Lower the prices for more accurate value. Almost all items there are pre-worn (and showing it) and 2-seasons old. They should run $5-20, not $18-45 as marked. 2. Get rid of the supply of shabby cotton tops. They're not designed for reuse or second ownership. read more

This place has really gone downhill. The sales associate was very rude and condescending to me today about items that I brought it to sell. I have been a customer for over 6 years and have spent a lot of money there. I have never been treated like that. I decided that I will not step into their store or spend my $ there ever again. This store is not what it used to be before it changed locations. They used to have a lot of cute things and great staff, but now they are just overpriced and don't value their customers anymore. I never find anything worth buying there these days anyway. Don't waste your time. read more

If you're looking to take your gently-used items (or even brand new items) here and expect to get a few bucks, think again. They handed me my clothing back and told me it had been worn too many times. The items were brand new - never worn!! I saw clothing in there that looked like something that was taken from a dumpster, but yet they turned away my high-end designer clothing, and I'm not talking Anne Klein. I had a brand new top from Alexander McQueen that was never worn and they told me it had been worn too many times. They're awful. I will NEVER go back to this store. I refuse to give them any of my future business. From now on, when I have something of value, I will give it to charity. It would make me feel better anyway. Avoid this place, if you can! read more

I am updating my review in response to a review response sent to me by Leslie the manager. I still feel that a store that claims it wants to do business with everyone should review their policies. I feel that they should take the time to peruse the items that are brought in by their customers when the customer brings them in. Perhaps they should an employee who looks through the things as they are brought in. This would alleviate the having to call the customer back to the store to pick them up. Seller's Review: I would not go out of my way to bring them good clothes in good condition. I brought in 3 laundry baskets of clothes. Banana Republic, Kut from Kloth, Lucky Brand, Adrienne Papell, Gibson, Halogen, Ann Taylor and a few more brands. Some clothes even had price tags still on them and/or were just last season's purchase. They gave everything back with the exception of a handful of items. In the future I will either go to consignment store in Willoughby or donate to Goodwill. Maybe the sign in the window "Store for Sale-Inquire inside" might have an impact on what they are buying? read more

Whenever I'm in the market of reselling, my first stop is always Revolve. They always seem to offer the highest in comparison to Clothes Mentor (which is my second stop, for whatever Revolve doesn't take). That being said, they'll resell my items at $20, and I'll only get $5 and some change back. It would be nice if they offered the customer at least 40% of the resale, but I guess that's how they make money. At least it's less work than trying to resell on eBay or Poshmark. Things are often a tad overpriced, despite it being resale. You can get a J. Crew or Banana Republic sweater for $15 - $35, which is great compared to the actual store, but I've gone to the J. Crew Factory and Banana Republic outlet stores and can get new stuff for $20 - $40. I'm usually picky with what I buy, but the $23 Madewell jeans (originally $110+, or around $50 on sale) were a steal. So, it's a hit or miss. I guess it depends on who prices it. They must have replaced the staff over the last few months. When this place first opened up a few years ago, I felt out of place going in there (I was 17 - 18 at the time, but still shopped at Loft, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, J Crew, Madewell, etc) and the older (40+) staff seemed to always raise their eyebrows at me, and I felt like I wasn't getting as much in resale as I am now. Now, the staff is younger, more friendly, and very knowledgable. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. This place is great, but the reward system and selling price are the downside. read more

I use to enjoy checking out this store for more business casual clothes but after my recent experience with a very rude staff member I have totally gone off this store. I had come in with a bag of items to sell ( well aware that they would be picky as they do only like the best and very minimally worn styles) However as soon as I walked in the lady took one look at my large basket of items and simply said " no hunny we wont be accepting any of those", and pretty much waved me out of the store. I was shocked as my basket consisted of Jcrew, Madewell, Express, some coach purses, and other designer brands. As she barely could even see the top item of my basket, I am still very confused and offended I was dismissed so quickly. Sadly, I know this is only one employee and the others could be nothing like this, but it has now just put such a sore taste in my mouth for this store. read more

I usually love selling my clothes at revolve, but today was not the greatest experience. I was in a hurry, so I knew I needed to get there right as the store opened. I arrived about ten minutes after the store opened and was told only one person's clothing was ahead of mine. They told me it would take about 30 minutes, which I thought was pretty long, considering I only had about 6 items. Here I am, sitting here still waiting for my clothes, an hour later. If it takes them that long to go through my items, that's fine. But please don't quote 30 minutes, then take double the time. I have somewhere I need to be, and I would have just come back later, if I would have known!! read more

The selection is pretty good and 75 percent of the prices are reasonable. I found a dress that would have cost $50+ dollars for $14.

Don't waste your precious time bringing them good clothes. I washed everything and made sure it was in good condition. I brought Talbots, Eileen Fisher, Banana Republic, White House Black Market, Soma, Athleta and more brands that I know they sell. They gave everything back to me saying it was old and had stains...neither of which is true as it was purchased over the last 18 months...some of it fairy new. With only one exception I would say this has a wanna be vibe of the Real Wives of Beachwood. I don't wanna bother bringing my business here again. read more

I LOVE this place! Friendly staff, great selection of mid to high end designers that are perfect for work clothes. Got a beautiful NWT Talbots winter coat for $30.00 which was amazing. I think they need a bigger selection as within any one size (I'm a pretty regular sized 6-8) there is not a huge selection but it looks like it's particularly good for larger sizes. read more

Hi first time ever at Revolve and I was impressed to say the least! Prices were good, clothing was organized and easy to find. I did not have any clothes to consign at this time and even though the sales girl said she would explain their consignment policy she did not, nor did she leave me any paperwork explaining their policies as well. Some feedback I would like to give, is the help was way TOO helpful. Must have been asked 6 times if someone can help me find something. When she saw that I was looking at a certain brand, she followed me to show more more items. I really just wanted to look around and see what they had to offer. I was very close to walking at at that time. Also, bringing in only 6 items in the dressing room was nuts, plus if you are going to limit the amount in the dressing room then stay and count what I am trying on. Do not limit its crazy when there are sooooo many good finds at the store to try on. I will be back! read more

Revolve Fashion is THE WORST consignment store. I dropped off a pair of sunglasses to sell and they couldn't find them on any website so they had an "expert" take a look at them. I was told they were going to call me about them in 2 days. I had forgotten about them because I was busy living my life until they just called and told me if I didn't come get them they'd donate them. She said I signed a paper saying I would get them in 24 hours. The so called expert was coming in 4 or 5 days later. I'm out of town for the week. The woman was beyond RUDE and CONDESCENDING and told me to find someone to get them today or they get donated. They don't have room for them. I've never been talked to like that. I'll NEVER give them the time of day, and you shouldn't either. I'm a customer and she didn't even try to be nice, and she hung up on me. They took no responsibility for not calling me sooner. I've worked in retail and I'd never talk to someone like they talked to me. I was trained that the customer was always right. read more

This place is outrageous. They accept pretty much nothing and a little bit they do accept they give you about 5% of what it is worth. At the Mayfield store, there is a "fashion specialist" named Andrea who clearly does not know what she is doing. I brought in several Ralph Lauren and other designer items which she declined.
