When my favorite mirror shattered, I was really worried that it would be a goner, OR would cost an arm and a leg to repair. From the moment I called Rex Glass, the man on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to give him the dimensions of the mirror, and he gave me a quote over the phone. Coming from the South Hills, it was a little hike (hike as in 25 minutes) to get to this location. When I arrived, the same man gave me a quote that was a little higher once he saw the mirror in person. He agreed to go down in price, based off of our initial phone conversation, which I thought was pretty awesome (only a few bucks, but still!) They repaired the mirror in no time. I received a text to come pick up the mirror, and when I did, I was extremely pleased with how it turned out! It looked original, like nothing had happened! Very thankful I found this place, hoping I don't have to use them in the future for mirror repairs! They do have beautiful shower doors, etc. They are much more than just a mirror replacement business, that's just what I used them for. Family owned, support local business! Although Dave at Rex Glass probably knew the installation was the problem, he offered to provide a replacement mirror at cost. So some guy named Sam came to our house to estimate the installation of a shower enclosure door on Monday. Measurements taken ... specs finalized ... "l'll get an estimate later today, latest tomorrow."' Now Thursday ... two phone messages and two emails later, still no response. WTF ... we're talking about courtesy and cash on the barrel head. Recently a contractor broke a glass panel in a sun room on a listing of mine. I called Rex Glass to have the panel replaced. Unfortunately, after they installed the piece of glass, it was not a perfect match. I called them to have it corrected/replaced with another piece that had more of an amber finish. The follow through and willingness to make sure that my client and I were 100% happy was very much appreciated. The second install went great and the panel matched perfectly.
