If you're looking for something modern Do Not Come Here. I came in to get a brunette balayage just something to lighten my dark brown (mostly virgin) hair and came out with bright "highlights" or should I say streaks because I couldn't find any blending anywhere. When I left the salon I didn't love the results but it seemed like I just needed a darker toner nothing too bad. When I got home and looked at my hair in the sun light I realized my hair was completely ruined. I had streaks of various widths some not even lightened and toned properly. Pilar seems very nice but I think she needs to look into updating her methods. I had a consultation both in person and through text as to what I wanted I showed her various inspo pictures of brunette balayage and we seemed to be on the same page so I don't know what happened as we agreed on something much more natural. She told me to come back in three days to darken it but at that point I didn't want her messing with my hair any longer. I don't normally write reviews especially not bad ones but I'm pretty upset with the results. So I don't recommend you waste your money here. read more

Marine is my go to person for coloring my hair. Sometimes I don't book in advance and I go somewhere else and it just doesn't come out right. She's colored my hair a handful of times and I was always satisfied. Marine is nice and listens to what you want. She tells you what's realistic for your hair and try to work with what your current situation is. She is genuinely SO nice and to top it off she works super fast. She's familiar with balayage, highlights, babylights, faceframing techniques, teasing techniques. Natalie is great!!! About a year and half ago, I was searching for a new hairstylist and was also thinking about coloring my hair. I was connected with her after running into her family. And they let me know that she had just moved to this location. They showed some of the work that she had done. So I decided to give it a try and see what her availability was. Her customer service is great and I just really like the work that she does. Normally, when you get color, she will ask you ahead of time what you are thinking of doing. But depending on your hair and even how much maintenance you plan to put into caring for it, she adjusts it so that it will work best for your lifestyle. I'm a very low maintenance person when it comes to my hair. I want color that will last for a while and not fade out to the point that it forces me to come back for a haircut or another color treatment. The last time, I had my hair colored which was also a year ago, the color faded out and just looked like it was natural highlights which I had gotten comments on from friends and family. I came to Marine after being referred by my sister in law who said she gave the best haircuts. She tried another stylist during covid and went back to Marine once she was back in the salon and the difference was obvious! With frizzy curly/wavy hair, I had a hard time trusting stylists cutting my hair aside from basic blunt cuts. I booked with Marine and asked for long layers and face framing to fix the terrible bangs I gave myself during the start of the pandemic. The results were beyond my expectations! I had never felt so pretty in my hair in all my life! As an expecting first time mom it felt so good to feel so pretty. Another amazing thing that happened is my curls bounced back seemingly overnight after shampooing after the haircut! The layers were perfect for enhancing my curly hair texture. Definitely not !!! Mine was a simple layered. I can't complain. My daughter had waist length gorgeous curly hair. She want caramel highlights and it cut shoulder length. I know I know. But when you are young you can pull anything off . Well not the hatchet job the owner of this salon did. My daughter had pictures. She was told of course I can do that. She came out with baby lights just in front and it basically buzzed at the back by her neck. I think she was trying to thin it out but didn't know how!! Months later my girls hair is finally recovering what was done here!! If your older they might know how to take care of you. I booked an appt. showed up at my appt and she shows me some crap full of chemicals I told her that's not what she told me they would use! She was also in the middle of dying someone's hair during MY appt time! I got off work, rushed there, rearranged my entire schedule for them to lie to me and waste my time! I really wanted a specific rose color to dye my hair. I had gone to another salon and they totally messed it up so I went here since it's pretty close to my house. When I walked in and asked how much it would be and if she'd be able to do it that day. She was really busy so we exchanged numbers so she could call me later if she was available. Fast forward, I'm getting my hair done that day after she called. She was able to get the exact color I wanted by mixing a couple colors together. Came here yesterday to get my hair done by Marine and she did such a great job! I had very dark brown hair (almost black) and she was able to lift it to a Carmel blonde color in one session!
