Stopped in for some products. The place was well stocked, and the front cashier Ashley promptly greeted and offered her assistance. Decided on my purchase and met Ashley once again. Simple in and out. Got to the car, glanced at my receipt, and realized that I was overcharged. Went back in and explained the situation to Jennifer as Ashley was occupied assisting another customer. Jennifer mentioned that Ashley was in training and she needed to correct the transaction. No big deal, I will wait. Ashley walked on over and apologized. She made a phone call to the manager, Jen, who instructed her on what to do. The difference in cash was given, and I was out. My experience with Ashley was great. Being new, she had a welcoming attitude and showed her willingness to help. My experience with Jennifer was bland and not very customer oriented. Maybe she had a rough day. If I can leave ZERO STARS I WOULD!! This place sucks!! I went to get my hair done with ALICE!! I showed her what I wanted she gave me a price I booked my appointment and went the next day, I arrived 15 mins early she still had someone in her chair she asked if I could Come back in 45 mins I said ok I left came back and she still wasn't done with the previous customer! So she then had the other customer blow dry her own hair then started on mine, then had me get up off the chair to continue working on the other customer. Fast forward she's now doing my hair another customer walks in and says they want a hair cut for their son, so AGAIN she stopped working on my hair to do the hair cut for the other customer!!! Before getting started on my hair ALICE ASKS ME FOUR TIMES TO SEE THE PICTURE OF HOW I WANTED MY HAIR I SHOWED HER and also let her know I wanted a trim, so when she was done my hair LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE I SHOWED HER!! And she cut my hair too short!! I will never go back to her again!! I will post pics on how I wanted my hair and the outcome of what she did ((She told me to ignore the dark hair in the back!!!)) She is horrible and doesn't take accountability for her work. I asked if she could fix my hair after I got home and saw the results and she said it's not her fault that my hair is curly and frizzy and said " girl I have 30 years of experience" and a bunch of ignorant uneducated and unprofessional nonsense came out of her mouth. She shouldn't be allowed to work on anyone ever again! As of late, post pandemic this Montebello store practices full safe contact. Even during the surge, they kept track of their clientele to be able to trace in case customers were infected. No news of ever in this store bc they maintain high standards. Personally, I've been coming here for a few years & all the stylists here & front personnel are always accommodating. Current fir men's specialist I recommend is Miriam, she does full fades, eye brows, and razor shave finish. Prices vary but very worth it! I also recommend if you do go wear a comfy mask bc it's required thru the whole cut. They also have a great array of hair products.
