After that my property managment team consisted of Andrei Lechert- Kelly, Gerald Medalla and CJ Flores. Again, more professionalism with this team. Once the property was ready and we agreed on the rental price my home was listed on a Wednesday and by that weekend, Saturday, we have the home rented. It's been 5 months and I have no complaints. I was very motivated to rent the home, and even noted in my application I'd be willing to pay above the listed price. Well a full day goes by and I heard nothing so I called for a status update. The woman on the phone wasn't sure what the status was and said to call back the next day. So I waited and called the next day and spoke to another rep on the phone who seemed just as clueless. I emphasized that I had applied 48 hours ago and wanted to know what my application status was. He said he'd have someone call me back with an update. That evening no phone call, but a form email saying another tenant was signing a lease and I'd be notified if it falls through. I'm very certain I was the first to apply to this property, but they did not follow protocol of screening applications in the order of receipt. Then the lack of follow up and sounding completely clueless about the status of applications was extremely frustrating. I suppose I dodged a bullet not renting from Good Life. I feel bad for the property owner of the home as they would have gotten more in rent from me, and I was ready to sign the lease immediately. Good Life needs to learn better customer service support.

Issues with home took a few days to address, which we were cautioned about ahead of time because this home is so far from their home offices. As of that, we took care of most little things ourselves. I had already put down $300,000 and owned another home that was fully paid off and worth about $550,000. Yet the broker told me I needed to put down $600,000 to buy a home priced at $850,000 . After that, I went to another broker and got pre-approved almost immediately. I qualified for the home without any problems. All I can say is that they were not very professional. In my opinion, Simon seemed focused only on money. I felt that he was trying to earn commissions from both sides. When I decided not to use his broker, my offer was not accepted, and I was told that another offer had been accepted instead. That was my experience, and it left me feeling that my interests were not the priority.
