A big "Thank you" to Junior, of J & R appliances. Junior took my phone call five minutes before they closed on Monday evening and we made an appointment for today at 10:00 am. Junior was on time and diagnosed my moms loud refrigerator. In October of last year I had called three separate appliance technicians for my moms refrigerator issue and wasn't able to book an appointment with any of those contractors. Junior quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue. He also guaranteed his labor and said if the noise comes back I should call him immediately and he would come back to fix it. The cost for this problem was extremely reasonable. I was also told by Junior they repair and sell washers, dryers and other appliances. Reynosa Appliance advertises on Facebook that they buy used appliances. I remodeled my kitchen and had a dishwasher that had been used maybe a dozen times. The color of this dishwasher didn't go with the remodel. Being in perfect condition, I took it to Reynosa Appliance. I told them they could have it for free. They looked at it, and I quote you " they would take it but would have to charge me a $40 removal fee", I could believe it. I took the same dishwasher to Belmont Appliance. Told them the same thing, they want to give $50 for it. I said no, just didn't want to dispose of a good dishwasher. They could believe it, they also said if I ever needed and appliance worked on to please call them and they would only charge me for the parts needed . This place is not interested in doing honest business, they would rather scam. We bought a refrigerator, washer and dryer here. The dryer we received is not the dryer we purchased. The fridge broke a few weeks later, they came and took it to repair it and left a loaner fridge that was not of equal quality. For weeks we waited to see if the fridge would be repaired. No communication. Finally we gave up and bought another fridge off of FB marketplace. When he picked up the loaner fridge he tried to get us to pay a repair fee for the loaner and accused us of sabotaging the fridge. Worst place possible for used appliances. Overpaid for an old washing machine. My first mistake was noticing that they didn't deduct the $95 deductible they charged to come to the house and spend 5 seconds to look at my broken machine, when I purchase a washing machine from there small warehouse. After going through the hassle of reminding them they didn't deduct it, he removed the charge the next day. I should have stopped then, aware of dealing with bad business practices. I had initially gone by Daniel's Appliance and have done business with them in the past. They are honest and easy to work with. They sell machines, delivery and installation is included with their fair prices. Reynosa is about $100 more for the machines and their standard practice is to only drop off the machines. I told Luis that the other place would hook it up so he "offered" the "help me" as though he was doing me a great favor by doing what any reasonable appliance company should do. I'm not a plumber. When he came to the house, I had to help him lift the machine off of his truck. Very unprofessional but, whatever. The reason for posting a serious complaint is that the machine wouldn't fit through the door, although he didn't even measure the door, nor the machine. not a big deal. The other side of the garage is open and has a small metal fence that needed two strands of wire to be removed to allow access. So, what did he do? He unhitched his dolly from the machine and left it in the yard. He then said he would return, ordered me to remove the existing machine after the fence allowed access. I demanded that he take the machine back and refund my money. He said no, that all he had to do is to deliver it. At this point, I was upset. This guy is horrible. If I were to pursue this in small claims court, the court would be in my favor. The best thing at this at this point is to warn other people that there are much better places to do business with. Quality and good customer service are not a part his business. Go somewhere else. Oh, am here to edit the review the next day. Had to get a plumber to install the machine. Now that the machine is hooked up, I put a load of wash in the machine. And guess what... half way through the wash, the machine stopped with Error message. Now it is clear why Reynosa only delivers machines and doesn't hook them up - the appliances they sell don't work. Wow, how is this guy still in business? Over $500 spent and now I have to call an appliance repair company to see if the machine Reynosa sold me is total junk that should be thrown away. Pathetic business. read more

I bought a reconditioned washer/dryer. After about 3 loads I realized the water sensor was not working It did not get clothes totally wet. I called and he said it's guaranteed IF I bring it in. That was not made apparent to me. Or on the receipt. I would have no idea I had to bring in a washer! So I'd beware before you gave him a try.The cost to fix is $150/$175. I purchased a fridge, washer and dryer from them and after using the dryer twice for a regular load of clothes it broke. He came out to fix it and then it broke again. He replaced the dryer thankfully. Then the freezer of the fridge stopped working and we called him again. He gave us a loaner fridge and took our fridge to get repaired. He is a scammer! I bought a Kenmore Elite Washer & Electric Dryer for my apartment and I loved that they do offer Delivery with Installation Its extra but honestly still a great deal since the appliances are priced good and they gave me warranty. I had previously bought another washer from a person on offerup and that washer broke within the month and never heard back from them. SO that is why I came to Reynosa Appliance. This place was actual shit. I would give it zero stars if I could. First, they came over to my place to "see what the problem was" and charged me $175. The guy who came over didn't even do much. I had a washing machine with a broken lock and the guy barely looked at it. He came over for about 2 minutes then took the money and left. Then when I called them regarding fixing the lock they told me I had to get my OWN parts and charged almost $400. Now I get it if I need to get my own parts but to charge almost FOUR HUNDRED to fix a fucking lock is insane. You can literally get a whole new washing machine with that price. And sure, I would understand it if that price included the parts. However, they literally told me I had to get my own and pay the $400. This place was terrible.
