Falling behind on this, I was pushing late Nov to get new insulation installed and panicking as temps dropped daily. Robert / Attic Air were booked through the end of the year but they found time to fit me in for 800 sq ft (I think by working an unscheduled vacation Sat morning). They did a great job! They use the Owens Corning fiberglass, non-toxic and clean! Did not try to push or upsell me. Didn't push the toxic cellulose (don't want toxic pesticide saturated paper in my attic, we breadth that air!). They are pros and they do insulation very well!

One night the heat went out and the indoor temp dropped to 49 degrees, so that sealed the deal, we needed better insulation. They also encapsulated the crawl space with spray foam. Turns out there were mice living down there that we had no idea about. One even fell on a worker while they were pulling out the old stuff. Made sure to tell my wife who was on the fence originally about having this done. Big difference since then. No more mice sightings, heating bills are noticeably lower, and the house stays comfortable even when it's really cold outside. Solid work all around.
