Just as promised, I returned here and I was much more satisfied with my meal this time go round. I had the fish sandwich and my partner ordered a pimento cheeseburger. His burger fell apart when he bit into it. He looked at it and noticed the burger patty had been cut/sliced in the middle (more than likely because the grill chef checked the temp) and that was why the whole thing kept falling apart. Other than that mishap, he said the flavor was very good. My fish sandwich was delicious! I loved it very much. Our server was very sweet and took good care of us. She did forget to bring my partner's side of jalapeños, but that was okay. We went to eat for lunch & it was much brighter in there. They seem to get very busy here. Think pub vibes. read more

Wow! My husband and I visited RF's Corner Grill for lunch and were very impressed. We visited on a Friday at about 12:30 in the afternoon. We had no wait and were able to get a table as soon as we arrived. We both opted for the special, which was a bacon cheeseburger chimichanga with queso. The chimichanga was filled with bacon, ground beef, peppers, onions, and a little bit of a marinara sauce. They topped it with queso and provided a side of marinara sauce for dipping. It came with a side of fries. The chimichanga was so crispy and delicious. We both loved it. The marinara on the side was delicious but we didn't use much of it as we liked it the way that it was without. The french fries were SO good! Crispy and cooked perfectly. Service was outstanding. We were checked on frequently. Our server checked on us multiple times and the bartender also came over a few times as well. Refills were provided without even asking for them. At the end of our meal, they gave us to go cups as well. This was our first trip and we will definitely be back. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

The reviews were not good, but I decided to try them anyways.. My food was greasy, dry, and rice was bland. Pricing was kinda pricey for mediocre food. The owner told me they were able to make it today too....I was sold, it looked good and I had to have it! I arrived and sat at the bar. Ordered a drink and the King queso appetizer. The drink and the appetizer came out fast as always. The queso and beef had great flavor and was the perfect amount! The chips were also good, crispy and didn't taste stale. The chimichanga also came out fast. I'm glad cause I was hungry haha. Well let me say, I love a good chimichanga and wow, this really hit the spot! Probably one of the best Chimichangas I've ever had! The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the spices/sauce were a great addition to it. It had a lot of flavor and is sure to cure your appetite. The portion for the price was amazing. I shouldn't have gotten the appetizer because I couldn't finish my main meal. I had enough fries and the other half of chimichanga to take home for later. My bartender/waitress was Kayla. She's really amazing. I've had her before and she's always been the best, talking and interacting with customers! The food at this restaurant is excellent. The service is terrible. I've been there now with my wife five or six times and only once was I waited on correctly only once. My last visit we sat at the bar, ordered our drinks and never saw our waitress again. 15 MINUTES LATER a table waitress walked by and I ask her where the bartender was and was told she was back helping the cook and that they would'nt be taking any more food orders for at least 20 minutes. The place was only half full and if I would'nt have talked to another waitress I would have sat in this restaurant for 45 minutes a empty beer glass and literally no idea what was even going on. We were so pleasantly surprised by this unsuspecting corner restaurant! Having heard many people talk about this place, we decided to give it a try. It doesn't look like you would think inside, after seeing the outside building, and it's a small but cozy interior. (Definitely come at a lull in the day, as seating is limited, though they do also have a couple outside tables.) The menu has a wide range of options, from burgers to tacos to Indian dishes. My husband ordered the butter chicken, and I had a pimento cheese burger with duck fat fries. The pimento cheese is clearly homemade, and the burger is fairly large. You also get a decent portion of fries, which are very good. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the butter chicken, and the sides (rice and pita - which he thought could've been homemade since it was so good, but the waitress confirmed it wasn't.) He originally wanted to try the beef korma, but they were out. We didn't get any drinks, but their bar is stocked pretty well and is definitely something for a future visit. Our waitress was courteous, and did take care of us, but seemed a little distracted by her coworkers as it was somewhat slow at the time. (Which isn't something I would hold against her or the restaurant - it's something you see in every kind of business.) During lunch in the week, service is good, restaurant stays fairly busy, food good. Duck fat fries have a different flavor than regular, but you need to have a discerning tongue to know it. I like the bang bang shrimp entree/appetizer better than taco bc the floor tortillas make it too chewy- a little too much texture for my preference, and it takes away from the shrimp/sauce flavor. Pimento cheese has plenty of pimentos, so if you prefer more cheese don't get the pimento cheese burger. If something isn't right, they want to know and try to fix it. 3 friends and I went to RFs for brunch today because one friend has spoken so highly of it, but sadly, we were all disappointed. Waitress was nice and she told us it was her first day so we cut her some slack, but the whole restaurant seemed discombobulated. It's pretty dark in the restaurant even at noon on a cloudless day, and the brunch menus print is so tiny, it is super difficult to read with the lack of light. There were also a handful of obvious misspellings and typos. Anyways. I saw a handful of orders of this massive biscuit topped with a generous amount of gravy go to other patrons so I decided to get that, too. I got it with an order of over easy eggs and an order of over medium eggs....and it so was disappointing. One of my other friends got the same thing, and hers were worse than mine. Instead of the one massive biscuit with a waterfall of gravy, we got these small, burnt, and hard biscuits that tasted like they came from the frozen section in from Food Lion with a sparse amount of gravy compared to the 3 or 4 orders I had seen before. My friend ate half of one of her biscuits, but hers were burnt to a crisp. It was not good. At all. My over easy eggs were severely burnt around the edge and tasted plain old bad, and my over medium eggs were VERY over hard. Also very burnt. My 2 other friends got steak and they said most of it was gristle and it had no seasoning. We did not complain about the food because it was so hectic in the restaurant, it wasn't worth it. We all paid and left. I paid my tab ($26) in cash and was expecting to get back change, but I never did...oh well. Long story short, as I have seen with all of the restaurants run by this guy, there is basically no consistency. You'll see that with the reviews you read, either everything is amazing or everything is awful. Theres very few reviews that are the middle of the road. Sadly, my first (and last) time here was a bad day for them. I wanted to like it since this is literally less than 5 minutes from my house, but I perfer consistency. I know everyone has off days, but with the knowledge I now have personally and seeing what others have said, it's a pattern. It's not worth the time or money to try again. read more

After seeing all the photos of thier burgers on the Lexington restaurant page I had to venture to the 'other side of town' to try it out. The burger was itself was huge and very juicy. The garlic aioli took it up a notch. The fries spent a little too long in the fryer but were hand cut and very good. My guest was pleased with his chimichanga as it was loaded with chicken. (Kind of surprised that a place that serves tacos didn't have guacamole.) His favorite part were the chips and salsa. Very fresh and the chips were served hot. I'll admit that I may be more picky than usual when it comes to napkins and utensils. If I've ordered at a counter and wait on someone to yell my name, I don't expect much. But to have your waitress bring you plastic utensils and concession stand napkins when attempting to eat a monster sandwich seemed a bit odd. All that to say, I am thankful for the good meal and loved supporting a local Lexington restaurant! read more

However I was screamed at by the bar tender because a waitress moved my seating and that ended up with the customers and bar tender when I complained on line to verbally attack me and my children it was disgusting . I promised the owner I would not give his restaurant a bad review however his employees can't control themselves and when I once said I wasn't a fan of the service I got attacked by his employee on Facebook . Been hearing good things about this place and finally tried it out today for lunch. Surprised for a Saturday that it was not crowded, because the food was really good. Great selection of items from Burgers and Wraps to Tacos and Salads. We had the Special - Ham Wrap and Macaroni Salad and Three different Tacos (Teri Chicken, Carne Asada & Baja Fish). I really really wanted to like this place. It's the same owners as One Taco Two Taco. My daughters (ages 7 and 10) and I went at 5:30pm on Wednesday 2/20. There were 3 people at the bar and one person in a booth. I thought that was odd for being dinner time. My girls and I sat in a booth towards the back. Customer service was great, our waitress was very sweet. I ordered the buffalo chicken taco and a carne asada Taco with chips and salsa. My girls both got kids meals chicken fingers with chips and salsa, and a beef taco with chips and salsa. Kids meals are $6, which is pricey for a kids meal when they don't get much food. First off, the tacos are $3.49 each, but they're small. Similar to size of Taco Bell tacos. My buffalo chicken taco was so dry! The chicken was almost over cooked so it was very dried out. Then a small amount of buffalo taste, lettuce and a few pieces of blue cheese. No sauce on it, so that was even more drying. The carne asada Taco tastes nothing like carne asada. The meat was dry as well with very little flavor. The toppings on the carne asada Taco were very good though. Now the chips and salsa....the chips taste like they're cooked in very old oil. My kids and I didn't eat them. They were so gross. The salsa, which I expected to be homemade, I saw them pour out of a big container that you get at Sam's Club, maybe Pace salsa? The chicken fingers were great and a nice size. However, both my kids ate again after we left because they were not full. Like I said the tacos were small and chips were nasty. I told our waitress and she did remove $2 from the bill and she was nice. They get 2 stars for customer service, a live singer, and chicken fingers. As far as the 3 people at the bar, one woman was practically screaming when she was talking, with horrible language. I don't mind generally, but when I have children and they can hear it I'd expect them to lower their voice or the bartender to say something. We will NOT be returning. read more
