Only Tysons Tree noted that pruning large limbs in the summer could negatively affect the health the trees. They worked with me to plan out pruning I needed ASAP and work that would best be done in winter. When they came for the pruning, the team was diligent and very safety focused. Weird that someone would call me to schedule and then tell me they need to call me back later that day to schedule. Welp, never heard back from him again. At the beginning of any new relationship there will be misunderstandings and adjustments that need to be worked out. When we were unsure of something or had a concern our account manager, Karen, was prompt, professional and patient. Communicating with Karen was very easy and helped us to determine the types of services that would best serve our community. On more than one occasion she would come to the community and walk the grounds with the HOA Board. She would identify plant types that could prevent erosion/flooding, point out trees that were healthy or in need of assistance and offer suggestions on how to improve the overall aesthetics of our community. I could tell she genuinely cared about our community and the service her company provided. At the conclusion of our walkthroughs we received a breakdowns with several options of services and improvements that we could use to improve the worn down and drab areas in our community. The following year we decided to move forward and expand our services with Blade Runners and the result was more than we could have imagined. During the spring of 2019 our community won the "Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation" award for residential beauty! Bad mistake! They ended up messing up my yard and I had to fire them. Kyle (the owner) reached back out to me at the perfect time and we decided to move forward. He was quick with responses and had reasonable, competitive prices. He had his crew finish up and add more things that the landscapers before did not finish. I asked them to put in a garden style patio, while adding mulch to the surrounding areas. The backyard is completely transformed and I can't wait to sit out there and enjoy it. The crew arrived on time every morning and worked hard everyday to finish up as much as they could.
