I will also be writing letters to the physician who referred me to this company to acquire my CPAP and I will also write to my insurance company to inform them of the misinformation I have been receiving from Rotech (the parent company of Rhema). I can honestly say that I have NEVER dealt with customer service worse than this one. And I am not referring to the lovely ladies who answer the phone - I am referring to the actual service they promise - which is basically NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Eric, One of the delivery drivers is wonderful. He delivered oxygen to the hospital for my husband. I cannot say enough kind words about how Eric helped us. He went over the whole process where we could understand how to use the oxygen. He also made a home delivery and he was very professional and educational on how to use all the products he delivered. Eric is an amazing employee for Rhema. He made what we thought was a terrible situation into something that we can now manage. Thank you Eric for making a difference in the world. Worst experience ever! Stay away from this company. I traveled to Denton with my elderly mother who is in need of an oxigen concentrator. I had made previous arrangements with this company to supply the machine. Upon my arrival they stated they could not deliver the concentrator and I had to rent a car to go pick it up! Then, they wanted me to pay and extra day of hotel and flight fees so that I could return the machine on Monday because they are closed on Saturday. What!! They also failed to provide the complete equipment and we ended up at a near by ER hospital to get the swivel needed to get tubing in the oxigen machine. They are unprofessional and they don't care about their costumers/patients. They truly are worst. At least the manager L.D and the front office young man who I know could care less and was just following orders. read more

My husband was sent home from the ER with Oxygen. We received one small bottle & a home concentrator. Zero instructions given. The next morning I try to switch him to the bottle for a Dr appt & it was completely empty. Called the office and was told I could bring it in to them for an exchange or it would be almost 2 weeks before one could be brought to the residence. This is the WORST excuse for customer service. My husband and I have had another bad experience. We keep getting these confusing bills charging us for a "humidifier rental" every month. When we called to find out what they were talking about because as far as we are concerned we don't have a humidifier the customer service people kept telling us we had one. We went our local Rhema office and finally found out what Rhema is doing. There is a metal plate that is part of the CPAP unit and Rhema has now decided they are going to call it a humidifier and charge extra for it. It is a heating plate that heat's the water in the water tank. It is part of the machine. You can't remove it or use the machine without it. It seems (my opinion) that they are price gouging. They just started this practice and we will be finding somewhere else to get our supplies! read more

Dr ordered the test equipment on Wednesday with a request for soon as possible.(I'm pending surgery based on the results) Rhema misplaced the order and after waiting 3 days, I called and was informed it was my drs office problem. 2 days and 4 calls each to Dr and Rhema determined the fault lay with Rhema. An appointment was made and a window of 9 hours was given for the delivery. I was told that I must be present to receive the package or I would need to reschedule. At the end of the window and with no contact from the company, I resumed trying to get info on when the delivery would occur. After speaking with 3 different people, I was informed that the delivery was delayed, and that if I was not available to receive it in person, the delivery would need to be rescheduled. I was told that the supervisor was off today, the acting manager was busy and that I was welcome to send an email but with no guarantee that the manager would respond or call back. Really disappointed and displeased. read more

The only reason I gave a 1 star rating is because they did not offer a ZERO! This company is either incompetent, shyster, or both! I did not want nor ever use the 02 equipment I was forced to take from hospital. I called on day four to have it picked up. It took eight days for them to come. The next week they called to set up a time to pick up the equipment they had already picked up. Next they billed me some $2,000 for their "missing" equipment. When I got that cleared up, they started billing me over $200 for rental, but NEVER ran it through my insurance. This has been an ongoing saga from early January till now late April. WHAT A BUNCH OF CLOWNS! They deserve to be put out of business. They do NOT answer phones/do NOT follow up on promises/and are the very worse organization I have ever dealt with! read more

Billed me monthly for years for my cpap. Shortly after I paid off my cpap, my internet connection on cpap quit working. They have a proprietary SD card in machine and said since cpap out of warranty they won't touch it or tell me how to download sleep report. The worst company ever, I was waiting on the phone for over an hour, the lady who answers the phone has the worst customer service ever. They were supposed to deliver oxygen tanks to my father, they did not show up. My father needs his oxygen bottles for his doctor's appointment and they could care less. They said they were backlogged on his paperwork and it should be ready in 10 days, it's now close to a month and still nothing has been updated in the system. I just wanted to add some positivity here to those that work at Rhema and deserve some kudos. I thankfully have not had any bad experiences with any of the staff and yes, I too have waited on the phone for over an hour. When it was my turn to be on with a phone representative, I never felt rushed or got that feeling that the rep was trying to move me along quickly so that they could get to the next customer in line. The portable oxygen tanks were delivered very timely when they were needed, and the delivery staff were always pleasant. I broke a piece off of my big concentrator yesterday, Sunday, and couldn't get the hose reattached. From the person that answered the phone, to the guy that came out to fix the machine (Joshua), everyone treated me as if they truly cared about my situation. This is by far the worst company I had to deal with. It takes an act of God to try and your oxygen equipment. Even after the doctor's office sends them a discontinued notice they claim they didn't receive it and just continue to charge you insurance company. I don't know whether the doctor's office and them are in cahoots and they give the doctor's office a kickback for sending business their way and make it so hard to return the equipment or not. I had the doctor's office telling me that they sent it discontinued notice to Rhema Medical in Rhema Medical claims they never received it so somebody is lying . I would recommend another company other than Rhema Medical. I really believe they are part of insurance fraud bilking the insurance companies out of money for rental of oxygen equipment. If I could rate less than 1, I would. Hold time for office is over an hour. Took 4 days to get oxygen delivered after leaving hospital, and now I can't return it. Was stood up for pickup, then am unable to reach anyone to inquire as to why we were not contacted that our pickup would be missed. Unable to return equipment to hospital, tried that route. They keep saying their waiting on a doctor signature, yet they've never faxed or called the doctor. They constantly say they are going too. These guys should be put out of business. Rhema medical is a money making thieves. I have been calling them to come pick up some oxygen tanks ., an oxygen machine and other supplies since June. First the they told us they were really busy because of corvid and they would call when they could pick the stuff up so I waited 3 or 4 weeks I called again waited a couple more weeks called again they said we needed a doctors note saying he didn't need this equipment anymore so we made an appointment got the doctors release called again the paper we faxed didn't go throw faxed it again. They said they would be out to get it someone would call they are short handed. .Called a few more times nothing. Yesterday I called after all these calls and they tell me I owe them 27.00 that's why they didn't come after the equipment. What? no body in all the calls I have made or have I got one bill in the mail but I owe them 27.00 so they refuse to pick up their equipment. They have been charging our insurance company 400.00 almost 500.00 a month for 6 months we have not even been using the equipment and are refusing to pick it up. IF I COULD POST THIS WITH NO STARS I WOULD. I wish I had read these reviews when my doctor told me they sent the order over to this company. I had a similar experience with what has already been written by other reviewers. It has been several weeks since I was told the order was sent over an I still don't have a CPAP machine. I call back after they leave a message and I leave a message and no one calls back. Phone tag repeatedly. When I did get someone on the line, they were very unprofessional and not at all remorseful for their company's lack of responsiveness. Moreover, after I was told what the cost to me would be, I asked for a detailed invoice so I could understand what equipment I was getting and what the continuing cost for supplies was going to be. I understood they would be an initial charge of $600 (part of which I was responsible for) and then ongoing charges (like a finance) for 12 months.. all without knowing WHAT machine they were planning, what the transactions details are etc. The woman kept repeating (as if I was not hearing or understanding) that if my deductible was met I wouldn't have to pay the $230 -- responding to my request for a detailed invoice. Further, she was miffed that I had the nerve to ask for such details of the transaction. Awful customer service. Rushed me through the mask fitting process. Their "technician" sent me home with a mask that didn't fit and told me to just see how it goes. Took me an hour on the phone to confirm benefits, which was supposed to have been done ahead of my arrival, and I still left there with no idea how much things would cost. They seemed out out by me wanting to figure out how much things would cost me before agreeing to take them home. Lots of finger pointing between them and insurance carrier regarding how billing and reimbursements are processed. Started sending me equipment I didn't ask for. Billing me for that equipment. I had to fight them on that. I told them several times I do not want to do business with them again and they continue to robo dial me offer to sign me up again for the auto equipment charges. Never ever use this company. August 2014, I contacted Rhema about getting a replacement C-PAP mask. They took my name and phone number and returned my call 3 weeks later. They would call every two or three weeks and ask for information - information that in 15 years is using a CPAP - I have never been asked for. To make a very long story short, they called in February of 2015 and asked for a credit card to pay for a mask. I was told the new mask would arrive in 7-10 business days. Five weeks after the payment was taken out of my account, I called because I had not received the mask. I was told the mask would be mailed that day and would arrive within seven business days. That was three weeks ago. I called this morning to ask for a refund so I could order from another supplier. After being transferred, three times I was connected to billing. I waited 10 minutes and a recording came on telling me they were experiencing high call volume (understandable considering the problems I have encountered) and they would return my call within 24 hours. I am supposed to have a new CPAP mask every three months, I should now be ordering my third mask. Save yourself a lot of frustration and do not order rom Rhema Medical or Sleep Central both subsidiaries of Rotech Medical. This is the worst company I have ever used. read more
