Jose Garcia was my second rheumatologist. He diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis. He kept me on Prednisone for over a year I remember I went from 165 lb up to 250 lb. I'm Catholic he was Catholic he told me Jesus was going to cure me. I was feeling very sick from the ra and all my complications to go with it and I wanted him to help me get a leave of absence from my job and he would not help me. Thank God I ended up in the hospital and a nurse recommended a Dr Jaffe for me another rheumatologist. He was most helpful and he helped me get Social Security disability. Dr Jose Garcia told me people with rheumatoid arthritis should at least work part-time. I don't have good memories of him at all and I would never recommend him to anybody this is the first time I wrote a review on him. And it is many years later. After I got my social security disability I eventually ended up with Dr George Munoz in the Aventura area who is the most excellent doctor I've ever been to. I even went into remission from my rheumatoid arthritis after being on rituxin infusions. Thanks to Dr Munoz. Everything I'm writing on here is the truth. When I think about Dr Garcia it's not with anything positive at all. The one good thing he did do for me was put me on Humira injections and they had just come out at the time. I remember telling Dr Jaffe that Dr Garcia told me Jesus was going to cure me. Dr Garcia if you ever read this you made a very big mistake with me and you did not treat me very well either. This is the worse rheumatologist office. Sorys- front desk representative is very rude and don't care about patient. She is very disrespectful as she hungs up the phone on patients. She treats patients as she is dealing with someone she serves coffee. Ridiculous service from the front desk personnel I will definitely report this to the manager read more

I scheduled an appointment to get here today and be told I wasn't on the schedule. Showed the receptionist proof of the call made on 6/26. I asked to speak to the manager or doctor. After waiting 30 minutes the manager goes up to the receptionist to tell me that either I can reschedule or not come back at all (heard him clearly through the glass). Didn't have the decency to face me. Definitely no customer service skills. If I could give them something less than 1 star I would. Waste of time and time off from work. read more

Great facility! The new staff is very welcoming. I know that they went through some changes with the staff and I must say, I'm happy that they did. The ones before were rude and didn't help me much. Complete 180 from before. Glad I stayed with them because I didn't want to leave Dr. Duque. She is amazing!!! read more

My friend didn't get proper treatment necessary for her condition on last visit to office and has to return for injection at A time and injections are supposed to be once A month and no injection happened in the month of May, but Medicare still had to be for A 2 minute visit to tell this person that the injection was not available at that time, when A phone call would have been efficient. read more

I am here now at the Rheumatology Center and the wait was not that bad! I waited about 10 minutes which included me going to the restroom and fill out paperwork. At first, I was reading some of the reviews and I was in question (doubt) but once I expressed to the staff my concerns they understood the frustration. To sum up my visit they super succeed my expectations. I highly recommend the services to anyone who is suffering or experiencing arthritis pain. After two Er visits, and tons of pain, I made a follow up with Rheumatology Center's Dr. Lilliam Miranda. The visit went absolutely flawless, I was seen at my appt time, was diagnosed and given lots of information on my illness. At the end, I made a 2nd appt but knew I would need to see a few other doctors as well. During one of my other doctor's visits, my blood work was requested from Rheumatology Center and the amazing staff in the front office had my results sent to the other doctor's office in MINUTES! Talk about service! I could not have been more grateful for their prompt attention, as my case is a very time sensitive one and they treated me as such. I'll be honest from the get go, I was a little hesitant to see a rheumatologist due to my horrible past experiences with specialist and other physicians. But this office changed it all for me. Dr.Duque is the sweetest most kindest physician I have encountered. And her office staff are one of the most delightful people in health care. The way they make you feel is almost like you are part of their family and knowing that I am in good hands finally puts me at ease. Go to this office! I promise you won't regret it. I saw the other bad reviews and was so worried but obviously I was wrong! Honestly sometimes those who review only go to review when they have something bad to say and rarely those with good experiences rarely speak up. I don't know why anyone would give this office staff anything lower than a five star rating. Everyone is absolutely wonderful. When I walk in, they always say, "Don't even sit down. We are taking you in to see the doctor right now." They obviously know how to time the doctor visits. The last Rheumatologist office I use to go to, I always waited at least two hours to see the doctor. I only stayed going there due to loving my doctor but, she moved to Miami and I started going to this office. Dr. Miranda is wonderful and very personable and very knowledgable about new meds. The staff always returns calls, lets you know when referrals are due, are very polite and treat you like they really care about your health issues. I always compliment them when I have an appointment here. They are a pleasure to deal with and no stress. read more

I am rating this clinic a 1 start because I cant give them a lower score. WORSE customer service EVER! I waited more than one hour after being told that I was next when I arrived. After more then an hour Waite I asked how much longer It was going to be only to be told that the doctor was finishing with a patience and that I had one person ahead of me. When I asked what was the point of having an appointment and why they had asked me the day before to be there 15min earlier only to be waiting in the lobby the only respond I got was "I did not due that" No apologies no nothing. I asked for my money back and left. I will like to point out that They were super quick to collect money, that was the only smooth process in that office.
