This was by far the worst property management company I have ever dealt with, and I've rented from several places over the years. Like many reviews I wish there was a ZERO STAR! This would be way too long to put in all of my negative experiences but here are a few! The unit was dirty and had multiple issues when I moved in, none of which were ever addressed despite repeated requests. They rarely answered the phone, and even sent out an email stating their office would remain locked at all times and could only be visited by appointment--yet they wouldn't answer calls to actually schedule those appointments. Later, they even admitted the office was locked because too many angry customers were showing up unannounced, which just proves how unhappy all of their tenants were. When the garage door spring broke, it took them several months to fix it. Having an electric car, I needed access to my garage to charge, but they showed no urgency in resolving the issue. Their auto-draft system was also a mess--if their system failed to process a payment, they would still charge tenants late fees instead of fixing their own technical problems. Pest control was supposed to be included, but when I reported bugs around the stove and dishwasher, I was told it was my responsibility. Their customer service was horrendous. Despite providing extensive move-in photos documenting existing issues, they withheld nearly my entire security deposit, returning only $40 for damages that were there before I moved in. I would never recommend this company to homeowners or tenants. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and exploitative. The Better Business Bureau should shut them down, and I can only hope more reviews like this warn others to stay far away. read more

We are tenants in a home that is using Rhino property management. We LOVE the home, but we have hated our experience with rhino property management. There is no way to get a hold of anybody, they've added extra fees monthly onto our rent with no explanation., they ask for pictures of the house every month and demand that it happens within a week, it took us two weeks to contact them to be able to send out a plumber to check on something, then the plumber never arrived and they canceled the work order with no communication. They've automated everything with no ability to fix problems so when we do get a response back via email from them (20 days later on average) the response is "sorry there's nothing I can do because that's not how the system works". AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Working with this company has been an absolute NIGHTMARE! They blatantly lied to us multiple times about a host of issues regarding our lease renewal. In addition to the outright lies, there were additional issues that were, at best, gross incompetence, and at worst, additional deliberate deception with the intent of taking advantage of a pregnant couple in a vulnerable situation. Thankfully, the owners stepped in and reached out to us directly, stating their own frustrations with Rhino and directly contradicted a number of the statements Rhino had made to us. The owners, thankfully, decided to step away from Rhino and manage their property independently, which helped us avoid having to keep dealing with all of Rhino's shady business practices. I am so relieved that the owners approached us directly so we could be free of this sleazy management company. **Absolutely Do Not Rent from Rhino Property Management** My experience with Rhino Property Management was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I moved in, it was clear that this company prioritizes profit over tenant satisfaction. My apartment was dirty, with walls that hadn't been re-painted, unpatched holes, a broken kitchen drawer, and remnants left by the previous tenant still stuck in the shower. They lure you in with a misleading "no deposit" option, which splits your would-be deposit amount over 12 months, adding a $55 monthly "risk management" fee for good measure. They do make it clear that the "deposit" will not be refundable but Bernadine made it sound like they would use the split funds from the deposit as you would usually use a deposit to go toward repairs, etc. however, after moving out, I was slapped with a bill for over $1,000 for repairs that were clearly the company's responsibility before I even set foot in the unit including repainting the walls. They also charged me $120 to change the electronic lock code--outrageous! When I reported ongoing issues with other tenants leaving trash around, attracting pests, I expected action. Instead, Rhino charged every tenant a $120 "clean-up" fee despite doing absolutely nothing to address the problem. How is it fair to penalize those who are reporting the mess instead of those creating it? Additionally, during my move-out process, I was granted four extra days (which I paid for) but was locked out for two of those days due to a sudden change in the door code. Their so-called "24-hour emergency maintenance" line was useless, and when I finally got in touch with someone, they were completely unsympathetic. To top it off, I was charged for a "pre-move out" inspection, despite my lease clearly stating that no inspection would occur while I was still living in the unit. Overall, my experience with Rhino was frustrating, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. It is next to impossible to get ahold of anyone. Bernadine will take a message, but Will Schmidt, the general manager, still has not gotten back to me despite several e-mail attempts and phone calls. He's always "out of the office" or "on another call". Save yourself the hassle and look for a more reputable property management company. You'll thank yourself later! read more

I had a terrible experience with this company. While living out of state I was able to contact the company and sign a lease with them. Up to this point their correspondence seemed reasonably professional. Once I moved into the property I was extremely disappointed. They failed to notify me that my front door code would only work until 5pm, so I was stuck for multiple hours in front of my property with no way in and no reliable communication. The video posted regarding the property was multiple years old, and the property is extremely disheveled on the move in date. There is prior tenants garbage, recycling, dirt, dust and belongings left both inside and outside the property. The property was not professionally cleaned, painted or maintained for what seems like years, despite paint cans in the basement. Carpets are full of past residents hair and pet hair. A few agents I contacted that night about the property would only respond "we aren't open right now" or blatantly ghosted me over text. Rhino claims 24/7 assistance but apparently they think that means only during business hours. The property was not move-in ready and still received multiple hours of cleaning from my partner and I. After physically meeting the property manager at their office, we were turned away because we did not have an appointment, but we're assured we would receive a phone call before they closed for the weekend. No phonecall was received, emergency contact was also unavailable. I will never rent from Rhino again, and I strongly advise you to consider another company as well. Do not rent from this place. My fiance cries daily about the abysmal conditions of this property. read more

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Having used them to manage my property. I have been nothing but displeased with them. It began when they failed to give the tenants a notice that their lease would not renew. This allowed some to remain while other chose to leave and only a 1/4 of the actual total rent collected. We had to end up paying out of pocket for the money loss on mortgage and utilities. Even their employee admitted it was their mistake in person and luckily my wife was there to hear it as well. But prior to that they denied it was their fault. Communication is absolutly horrendous and their personnel change is so frequent that nobody knows what is happening. They have charged me for 3 years for sprinkler shut on/off that was already part of the management fee. They say the have refunded it but owner statement clearly indicates it never happens. They have failed to collect any late rent, utilities, or fees that have gone unpaid. Then when I asked them about it, they say they never had tenants with such names. Even though I have email confimrations I sent them the contracts. By everything necessary. They have been a nightmare and only grows. It has been 3 year mess and we only remained with them because we were expats. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY ALL COSTS. They are extremely dishonest and unethical and made my life hell. They steal from both property owners and tenants alike and should be shut down. Another super sketchy thing they did multiple times was add mysterious charges to our account that we had never had to pay before. They would add these charges randomly, on the day they were due, and without notifying us in anyway that they had added the charge or telling us what the charges were for. Then they would slam us with hundreds of dollars of late fees if we were even a few days late paying these random charges (which we had no way of knowing they added, were given no time to pay, and didn't even know what the charges were for). At one point I was checking our account every single day so I could catch when they added the random charges. One time after adding a charge in this manner (on the day it was due without notifying us), they locked us out of our account for no reason and then cancelled our autopay which meant we had no way we could pay the charge without acquiring a late fee. They would threaten to evict us if we didn't pay their fees.They stole $750 from us in this way. We were also having an increasingly challenging time getting Rhino to respond or answer our questions about anything. Their phone would ring endlessly when we tried calling, they stopped responding to emails, and their office was often closed randomly. They seemed to use a lot of different tactics to make it challenging or impossible to communicate with them. Another tactic was refusing to answer our questions and telling us that we could only talk to one specific person about our concerns and then making that person impossible to talk to- they would tell us the only person we could talk to was out of the country or "at the other office" (they have no other office), or even once they told me the person wasn't there even though I could see the person walking around in the back. At one point, for no reason at all, they told us we were only allowed to talk to them through email (and were no longer allowed to call, text, or go into the office) and then they completely stopped responding to emails. In other words they completely blocked us from communicating with them and we later found out they had ALSO BLOCKED THE PROPERTY OWNERS FROM COMMUNICATING WITH THEM in the same way. We also later found out that Rhino was witholding thousands of dollars of rent money from the property owners that we had paid them on time and then was completing lying to the property owner and saying we (the tenants) weren't paying our rent. In fact we had paid our rent on time in full every month without fail. They even went as far as lying to the owner and saying that they (Rhino) were going above and beyond to get us to pay our rent and had even offered to put us on a payment plan. Meanwhile, Rhino is completely withholding the rent money (we paid them in full on time every month) from the owner without cause and lying to the property owners about why they weren't getting their rent money. They did even more sketchy and horrible stuff (including attempting to enter the property illegally) but the review length would be too long for me to write more. DANGER - AVOID: You should live somewhere else if your potential landlord uses Rhino. Rhino encourages bad behavior of both tenants and landlords, which results in deteriorating property conditions and irresponsible tenants (that might be your neighbors if you move in). Here's why and how: Rhino literally charged me exactly what my prior security deposit was and at a cot of 8-15x traditional renter's insurance. This means they make off with security deposits up-front, whereas some landlords will return the deposit to well-behaved tenants that did no damage. The lack of a security deposit makes tenants more likely to damage things and not clean anything at all when they leave. The maintenance man at my complex said "I wish others would clean up like you. Since Rhino, people just grab the TV and leave". Rhino is a very bad actor that makes the world a worse place to live. read more

They send you the bill with in the last 3 days of the month then request it be paid by the end of the month so they can charge late fees. They don't send you notifications of renewal of lease, when a payment is coming, or when it is past due so they can add a charge. They also take a weak to respond to repairs and fixes happens at their discretion and convenance of what they could afford, Didn't have hot water, a dryer, or heater for months because of this. Not to mention months after we move out they send us a repairs charge without notification with a due date so they can add late fees. read more

- 3 months into our lease they required a virtual walkthrough as to check-in on the status of the house... VERY strange. only 3 months into the lease? - We moved in site unseen since we moved from out of the state. They lied to us. We asked about the dimensions for our washer and dryer and they confirmed that our set would fit. They do not. So our dryer sticks out of this makeshift room.. Also they advertise a 3 bedroom unit, however this 3rd room has the washer/dryer plugs inside the closet. The third "room" is completely inhabitable for a person. It is currently functioning as the laundry room and storage room. This is NOT ideal for roommates. - Rhino failed to give us our utilities bill monthly even after we asked for it. Then, 3 months before moving out, they hit us with 9 months worth of utilities to pay back. (Think: thousands of dollars.) - Our lease has our address as "#1" but turns out that this is not a legally split unit. This prevented us from setting up internet through Xfinity because another tenant that used this address did not pay their bill... So we are punished for that and blacklisted from Xfinity. We contacted the city of Murray and they are investigating this issue. The City also let us know that we are not the only tenants who have called and complained at Rhino - We complained that we found meth (yes, meth) and they didn't investigate the issue. No need to dive into this bc this also shows how stupid Murray police are. - Downstairs tenants (not us) were having plumbing issues. WE as the upstairs tenants had to split the cost of the plumbing because Rhino couldn't figure out who was at fault for the plumbing issue... The issue was flushable wipes...We don't use flushable wipes - Also, FEES FEES FEEES! They take a cleaning fee and key change fee from your security deposit from the top. Also, like a $400 lease fee. I can't remember exactly because I am choosing to forget LOL. -We showed the unit to potential tenants (since we were about to move out) and the employee made ME show the house. HAHA. Rhino Property Management is a complete scam. I spoke with them a year ago, signed a contract for a rental property I own. The next day I had a family member who needed a place to live so I called Rhino and told them the situation. They agreed to letting me cancel the contract (which a 3 day right of rescission would allow anyways). After a month I started getting automated invoice emails billing me for their fee and this continued for a year. Almost every month I would call them, send an email, and ask them to correct things on their end. I have never once received an email or call back to discuss. Rhino hasn't collected 1 month of rent, hasn't done 1 bit of service, and had done nothing that would warrant them charging me. I got a warning letter a month ago from them that they were going to send me to collections for $1,100. I called and finally spoke to their front desk who looked up my account and confirmed Rhino was in error and they would take care of it. I just received a collection notice that they've sent me to collections. Early this spring a group of boys showed up at my investment property to do the seasonal sprinkler adjustments. They told me Rhino Property management sent them. When I told them I don't have a contract with Rhino, they said sorry to bug you, and that I was the 5th home they had heard THE SAME THING FROM that week. Stay away. read more

You will initially interact with someone selling you the contract for the property management company. After you sign the lease, you won't talk to this person again. This person (in my case) told me information that then conflicted with the people that do the house inspection/maintenance. I stated several times that I wanted to make sure I wouldn't sign a contract and then be forced to change several things in the house. I was assured this was not the case, as I had to accept all potential changes being made over a certain amount of $ amount as long as they weren't urgent/immediate things that needed attention (which is in the contract). Fast forward to when my inspection was done, I have written confirmation that I wanted minimal repairs done. I spoke with the individual over the phone post inspection and he noted and acknowledged that as well. In the contract, it says that you will be notified of any repairs over $300 "Expenditures for the repairs, alterations, maintenance of utility expenditures in excess of $300 per unit shall not be made without prior authorization of owner." I was not notified of any repairs and never received notification that any repairs were being done outside of the lock change (which is in the contract as well that I paid $110 for two locks). The property management company acknowledged I was never notified, indicating an error in their system. I got a bill for $1,870 worth of repairs. I was then talked down to after I stated I did not get any notifications about anything being over $300 (aka the contract language). You will be told that you signed a contract and the property management company is essentially given all the power. The individual literally gave me the bill and walked away with the most apathy I've ever seen when talking face to face to someone - I was disgusted. What is not okay is to only follow parts of the contract when it benefits the property management company. What is not okay is to not reply to e-mails in a timely manner (their website says they will reply within 24 hours when you are considering signing up, but you won't get this after you sign the contract). What is the most off-putting is how I was talked to and the replies to these reviews on google by the management company. The company has no problem demanding money and will send you to collections, but when you were wronged they disappear. Anyways I paid $2,480 to terminate a contract before 12 months and then had an additional $500 bill. I unfortunately learned a very costly and VERY time intensive lesson on ethics. read more

I moved out of this company's property at the end of June 2022 and have been in contact with them multiple times regarding fees they wish to charge and not returning our security deposit of $1800. Each time I have been in contact with them I was assured the company would follow up with me in regards to the concern, but I never hear back. The company sent an invoice that was not itemized or descriptive, and all of the items they wanted to charge for are items we reported to them when we moved in and requested to have fixed or repaired, which never happened. The company requested documentation of the requests to have items repaired/replaced/fixed which I did, including a copy of the form they had us fill out upon move in and more than 100 pictures of the items in question. After sending this and contacting them again, I was informed that they had no record of any of these requests when we first moved in. The representative I spoke to informed me that there was a change in the filing system and in the third party company they use, and that it was likely they had lost all of the information I had sent them upon move in. I forwarded them the emails initially sent with all the pictures and requests, it also showed the date and time that the email was sent to their representative at the time so they couldn't claim it wasn't sent within the required time frame after moving in. I believe that the company has decided to stop responding to me because they know they have no way to enforce the invoice that they sent for more than $4000 to fix issues caused by previous tenants, and they are avoiding returning the $1800 security deposit that is rightfully ours. read more

Was told August 28th it would "be in the mail by the end of the day" since they only have 30 days by law to send it, called again September 18, 2020 after not receiving it & was told it was barely dropped in the mail September 14, 2020. Called again today October 1, 2020 & was told it was barely put in the mail September 29th, 2020. Keep in mind we moved & our lease was up JULY 31. It's been over 60 days now & still nothing. Rhino Property Management has failed on so many occasions and I am at a loss for words as to how it is still in operation. We had tenants living in our home, we let the tenant and occupant know that we would be hiring a property manager. This is where Rhino comes in as we had hired them to act on our behalf. They decided after talking to their attorney that it would be best to send the tenants an eviction notice. we know now we made obvious mistakes by trusting anyone and not having a management in place. While the back and forth between Rhino, us and the tenants with their lawyer went on for a few months, we had little information given to us. We reached out to Rhino on multiple occasions to see what was going on and what we should be doing. Even one instance when we tried calling the office multiple times and when the receptionist finally picked up, she said she has been seeing me calling and just didn't answer. They offer you to schedule a time slot meeting with them and guess what they never call you, or even email. After it was decided that we were going to just wait it out until this lease was up we went on with life. A few months go by and we still had issues with Rhino not communicating to us. In July we had a spa on the property removed by a local store. After it was picked up Rhino sent us an email letting us know the cord was left from the spa store and they would be sending someone out to remove it. We went on and acknowledged the email. September came and we received an email from the tenant. Apparently, the cord was never removed. In the letter the tenants stated that they contacted Rhino on several occasions for this to be resolved and it wasn't. we never heard any of this from Rhino. Blindsided we emailed the attorney Rhino had used, reached out to Rhino and contacted another property manager. The attorney let us know we should get the cord removed immediately so there is no doubt that it was removed. Rhino never answered or returned our calls, emails, pleas for help throughout this whole ordeal. We notified the tenants we were sending an electrician out to the house immediately to get it removed. We then let Rhino know we would be terminating with them as of 1 October and would be moving to a new property manager as they had mishandled several occasions and were not communicating to us, not within days but there were weeks even months between being able to reach someone. You can clearly see now on any site with reviews to include the Better Business Beau, how horrible Rhino's communication is not only with owners but tenants as well. We had to make a change to avoid any potential further issues with the tenants due to lack of communication from Rhino. Rhino not only charged us an early termination fee of $1,800 they also caused us to lose a tenant and incur more costs to get the property rented. We notified Rhino on 1 September that we would be terminating and be done 1 October. They used their contract for every interaction from here on out. Please do not sign with them. They have a 60-day offboarding process and will not send you any rent collected. Once the 60 days is up apparently, they have another 30 days. Here we are in mid-January and our attorney just mailed off the check we received from Rhino for a portion of what we were asking. We asked that they do not charge a termination fee, and at one point Will the manager told our attorney they wouldn't charge it. They ended up keeping the termination fee. They also gave excuses when we asked for receipts and proof that work was done on the house. Run far far away from this company. Their owner Paul is a great businessman but does not have good morals on how to run a business. They run on nickel and diming all of their clients. read more

As owners we are happy to be rid of them. They are shady as can be and very unresponsive to both owner and tenant requests. Our tenant started contacting me directly for repairs due to how awful they are. One example of multiple is our tenant was afraid a tree in the backyard was rotting and not stable. I contacted management multiple times to look and they finally said the tree was fine. Then I ended up getting quotes from tree companies whom said the tree was infested with boring insects and extremely unsafe. I literally have maby other examples, but don't have the space because their accounting or lack thereof, is awful. Every year on our 1099s we would have "made" more than the rental income combined for the year. It never made sense and when I would try and ask for an explanation I would essentially receive the run around. Again, they are an awful company from both sides. I am glad I ended up developing a relationship with my tenant outside of them because I think our house would have been in shambles. Even repairs they did for a plumbing leak, and charged us for, still had sagging ceilings. read more

I would zero stars if I could. I've had the most horrible experience with this business. My lease was turned over to this place one week before my lease was to expire. I was told by my former landlord that I needed to contact them for questions about my deposit. I called them and no one had any information about my lease. After numerous phone calls the finally had Will call me. All he was able to tell me was that I would receive my deposit on or before June 30. It is now July 1st and no deposit. They are horrible at returning phone calls but great at ignoring them. They are a joke and I understand why their business is rated 1.5 stars. read more

I am glad that moved out from this property and its been 40 days already. I have not received my refund deposit yet. I was able to get a hold of someone today and they are telling me now I will receive only 376.00 $ check. (Deposit was 1000). I left the unit very good condition, they inspected 2 my unit during the time and received many thanks from my actual landlord. My unit is only 560 sqt. They charged for cleaning fee 300$ (I do not know what kind of fantasy or dream they live in). They are dishonest people and won't be fair when it's time to inspect your unit. Also, I find out that my landlord will not rent this property anymore because he decided to sell it and agreed with on that they are the worst. They are wildly disorganised, rarely turned up to scheduled inspections on time, and often don't respond to emails until the 2nd or third followup. I don't think they ever followed through on a maintenance request - including for issues that would cause damage and affect the value of the property of the long term. As a tenant, this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. When we moved into our house the carpets were not cleaned, there were holes in the walls, the kitchen was dirty and they refused to do anything about it. However in my lease, I pay a fine if these things are done when I move out. Additionally, here's the email tenants got recently with the Covid-19 situation. March 19, 2020 Good Evening, We find ourselves in some extraordinary times. Our circumstances literally seem to change by the hour. There is very little for certain right now. Everyone is on edge and this crisis will affect everyone. We will all be impacted in some fashion during the next weeks. With that being said, rent is expected to be paid as usual. It's important for everyone to remember that the roofs over our heads is an essential, just like groceries or gasoline. Just as we would expect to pay in a grocery store if we plan on eating, or at a gas pump if we plan on driving, rent must be paid if we are to have a roof over our heads. I encourage everyone to prioritize their expenditures starting with rent and utilities if they see their income being affected by this. Non payment of rent will create a domino effect. Our goal is to ensure that everyone involved, (you, owners, and Rhino) make it through this trying time with as little negative impact as possible. Terrible managers. Terrible customer service. NEVER answer the phone. I made 6x times what rent was in a month, and they still required me to pay an additional deposit of 500 dollars because my credit was "too low" (its a 600). The manager was rude and condescending. I shared the apartment with 2 other people, and at the end of our lease I called rhino and told them that they would need to send the deposit back split in 3 ways. 2 weeks pass and I still haven't received a check. I called again (took me a couple of days to get a hold of someone) and they said they sent the entire deposit to an address I had never even heard of. I reached out to my old roommate and she said that she got the entire deposit sent to her sister's house. Worst management company ever. read more

Rhino Property was difficult to deal with from the very beginning. Do not rent from them. We had to drive 75 minutes to pick up the key to find our rental property in very dirty condition. There was still dirty water in the sink! During our year of living in the apartment, we had 2-3 maintenance requests and each time they always took at least a month to address them. We completed our move out form with our landlord and we all signed the move out paperwork in January. They had no idea of the condition prior to our move in and had no photos of the property. Now, over a month later they are saying that they will not return our full security deposit to us. They said that the bathtub was dirty and needed to be cleaned (which we did) and the apartment wasn't in proper condition. The apartment was NEVER in good condition. We cleaned the whole apartment thoroughly. Rhino Property Management takes advantage and doesn't care about tenants, is very unprofessional, and very slow in their response time and availability. Please learn from my mistake and DON'T RENT from RHINO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. I've learned the hard way that Paul Henderson and his cronies at Rhino Property have no respect for their tenants or the court of law. In the fine print of their one-sided leases, they allow for onerous move-out charges like $120 to change the locks, $300 for cleaning, and $35 for smoke detectors. In my case, they added these provisions into a new lease when I asked to go month-to-month. I made the mistake of not reading the new lease closely enough, under the impression it was the same lease, just with an additional charge for the privilege of going month-to-moth. I took Paul Henderson to small claims court after he withheld a majority of my security deposit, relying on these kinds of unfair charges which were never disclosed. Even after I won a portion of that money in court, Paul Henderson has ignored all of my collection efforts and refuses to pay the judgement. If I had done a simple google search on Rhino Property Management, I would've seen countless reviews like the one I'm writing now. In a time where more and more people are moving to Salt Lake City, Rhino Property Management gives landlords a bad name. They pinch every penny while simultaneously providing inadequate services. Wow is all I can say. This has been the worst experience and I am now going to dedicate my life to put this company in the dirt. Be prepared because you just made enemies with the wrong person! My social media reach is near 10 million! Boy I can't wait to blast this company haha! It all started when I requested to see the property. This was just the first of many horrible experiences! I get to the property and no one was there. The door to the apartment complex in downtown was locked and I waited 30 minutes past the time I was scheduled for! I tried calling and emailing but nothing! And you've probably heard of their horrible phone service haha! I like how they try to say, "We try to make it as clear as possible for you..." It's not that we can't understand you, no one can get through to talk to anyone! Someone finally came out and opened the door after keeping me waiting for 30 minutes. I told him that I had been trying to get in contact with someone but had to just leave a message and he said, "Yeah that's how it usually is." What?! I actually liked the property and decided to apply for it, not reading any reviews for this horrible company beforehand. I applied and gave them the $40 application fee (which is normal for applying to places) and Angelo Lechuga (the property manager) texted saying I needed to submit the application again for whatever reason. I then had to pay another $40 to submit it for a second time! I just shrugged it off because I was excited about this new place that was just remodeled. I was told that it would take two days to get approved so I waited. The next day (Thursday at 8pm) I received a text message saying I was approved and asking me when I'd like to move in. I was super excited and texted back saying ASAP and asking when would be the soonest I could move in. Friday around 1pm I decided to call the number on the website because I hadn't heard anything back. I had to leave a message because that's just how it goes with this company. I then decided to call the number that texted me because it said the number was Angelo Lechuga's "personal number". I called it and it lead me to the same recording! But wait! There's more! I then tried calling the maintenance line, hoping to just talk to someone. I then reached woman! What the heck! It's amazing to actually talk to someone! Here is where it gets good! She picked up and said this was the maintenance line asking for my address and apartment number plus phone number for confirmation. I told her I didn't have one and wanted to talk to someone about moving in. She said she could give me the number to the office. I then asked if this was going to be the recording because I tried every option and the maintenance line was the only way to actually talk to someone. She then told me she wasn't sure (which is a lie) but she could give me the office number. I then said sure and took it down but guess what?! That's right! It's the same number 505-856-0033. I told her that this was the recording and she said she didn't know. I told her straight up that Rhino Rentals has my money but isn't returning my many messages. She then said she wasn't working for Rhino Rentals and her company doesn't clean the building I am requesting for. It was funny because I never told her where I am requesting to stay! She was straight up lying to me! I then asked her what building she was talking about (trying to catch her in her lie) and she said, "yeah the one you're requesting..." She had no clue who I was and where I was trying to live yet she kept saying she stopped cleaning the building I was staying in and couldn't help me. I then said, "This company seems like a scam," and she responded, "That is not my problem." I asked for Angelo Lechuga's number and she said she didn't have it. Weird she doesn't have her bosses number.... This whole company is a scam and I'm going to take it down! Boy I can't wait haha! I hope no one tries to rent or buy from this company because this is the definition of a scam. read more

The owner has been very rude and argumentative directly telling me as a resident that we are "not the priority" and that "our obligation is not to you but to the owners, our obligation is to keep them happy and lease apartments". I have paid my rent on time and he fined me citing unknown banking errors "account unable to be found" from a "third party", even though I have proven that it is a valid account and quickly brought cash when these errors continually happen. After deciding to not renew they then told me they will be bringing prospective renters in an out of my home while I am living there as they please (just giving a 24 hour notice) so while I am paying full rent and living in this home, they plan to parade thru unchecked people to my personal space filled with my personal belongings. This is a scary situation as I will be home working and they can get to private information, these people are also not screened so they can be criminals coming into my house with or without me being present. This is unacceptable and horrifying. People with assault, burglary or worse could be entering my home and I did not sign up for that. I understand they need to lease apartments but it is absurd to bring people in multiple times, multiple days with nothing but a short days notice to me and still required for me to pay regular rent as though it is my home. I have been bullied by management and can no longer speak to them without fear of retribution, they have been clear that they will tell people entering my house that I "have a poor behavior and to be warned" so I am having people come into MY home with prejudgment of me given by this company. Also, after I moved out, they REFUSED to provide me with an itemized (price detailed) move out list and I had to legally serve them with a notice.
