Really enjoyed the "La Cosa Nostra" room! My husband and I were looking to do a daytime date and this was a perfect indoor activity. It was definitely tough but so much fun and satisfying cracking the codes / clues. The "set" was very well done with an actual car in the room and a mural backdrop of a street. Everything was well utilized and locks weren't sticky. Super creative in the different ways the codes/keys were hidden too. The guy running it was friendly and helps you out with clues if you're in need of them, which you pace out. We probably should've gotten more clues sooner since we didn't escape the room. We probably got to about 60% of them (had a whole room we didn't get around to unlocking), which we were warned it is tough for 2 people, but we were up for the challenge. What I really like about this place is the discounts to return (half off I think to do the same room). What a great idea to get repeat customers. They also have another deal to buy discount passes only right after you finish a game. read more

We did the Vanderbilt Room and let the person watching know that we did not want clues or help. Unfortunately she gave clues that we did not want and it spoiled the fun. We solved everything and 'escaped' with 16 minutes to spare. It felt like it was more going through motions instead of solving an escape room riddle. Also in the lobby, there was a promotion for a discounted gift certificates, and when I asked about it, they said it expired, and although she asked the manager if he would honor it, his answer was no, even though the promotion was still displayed. I and four others did the hotel one and had a lot of fun. If you've ever been to an escape room you'll instantly notice that it's bigger than most escape rooms. The puzzles aren't to hard but it takes a bit to solve them, if you get stuck you can just ask for a hint or the time left anyways read more

First off, the service was great! We were brought into our room almost immediately. Then, once we got in the room, it took us less than a minute to start figuring stuff out. The room was clear on where to go but the puzzles still had a really nice challenge. We were on the last puzzle when the time ended, but they still gave us an extra 5 minutes because we were really close. I think that this is a really nice detail the should be in most escape rooms. The ONLY thing I could say could be improved is it would be nice if there was a physical timer in the room. Besides that, it was a really nice experience that we recommend, and we will definitely be going back! read more

Overall the room was really fun. We got there and were unable to start until 15 minutes after our start time do to technical difficulties. Our time was cut short due to "circumstances that they could not be disclose". They offered us 15% coupons but had to buy tickets there and then. read more

Riddle Room is one of the best escape rooms I've ever done. From the minute we walked in, it was an a great time. Our game leader from their team was so helpful, got us excited about the experience, and made the clues understandable without ruining the game. The game leaders make or break your time at the escape room so I really appreciated them! We did the Forest of Fortune and it was tough, it was the first time I did an escape room and didn't escape but it was still so fun. I appreciated the way some tasks required teamwork and the ability to move through multiple rooms. Highly reccomend this experience! read more

In fact, the experiences get better with each room as the business gains more knowledge and experience. The rooms are well designed (both aesthetically and mechanically), puzzles are intelligently crafted - making them challenging but not overly obscure - and they clearly have put thought into the story lines behind each room. They really need to replace the locks and fix stuff. I've done 3 of the rooms and all of them had issues with the locks and puzzles. I think they've been used so much they're breaking. We were getting the puzzles correct, but we weren't able to open several things and had to waste time asking the staff for help. Not a hit. read more

ESCAPETHEROOMers visited RI Riddle Room back in February, 2019. RI Riddle Room is situated right along a bay and has a parking lot available right outside the entrance. They are located on the second floor. At the time, they only had two rooms to offer and we tried both of them. The first room that we are trying is "Murder Mystery 2: A Killer's Revenge". It's a sequel to the room that they had in place prior. Normally, this room has a minimum of four people w/ a lot to work on. As soon as you enter the room you are going to notice that there are a lot of puzzles and locks to tackle. The decor of the room set the tone for the storyline. The room was spacious enough to allow everyone to work on something simultaneously. The puzzle designs were creative and stuck w/ the theme throughout the experience. This room definitely got more bonus points on the puzzle side as the decor feels a bit dates but we really enjoyed the puzzles and the storyline. The owner suggested that we try their newer room - "La Cosa Nostra: An Inside Job" so that we can compare and also have a better idea of the direction the company is heading. The decor and the puzzle designs of this room was a major upgrade compared to the first one. This is the first time we saw some of the props being utilized. They feel very "lively" (literally). The storyline was very unique and definitely had us fully immersed from beginning to end. We had a few "wow" moments for sure. This room has a minimum of four people but we managed to escape w/ just the two of us w/ seconds remaining. Awesome guys who genuinely love what they're doing and want to create the best possible escape room experience! They were kind, accommodating, and happy to discuss escape rooms and design and puzzles and stuff with a couple of enthusiasts. Both rooms we did (Forest of Fortune at Warwick and La Cosa Nostra at East Greenwich) were beautiful, challenging, interesting, and fun, and the historical aspects of the mob room were an excellent and unique touch. A++ would escape again. (Seriously, this is probably the best escape room experience I've had to date, and I've done several. I can't wait to come back next year and see what new rooms they've come up with!) read more

We solved Cosa Nostra with my mother-in-law and brother-in-law's family. Mike gave us 5 extra minutes because we were so close and the last group of the day. There were 3 extra "rooms" (if you count the car) to break into. The scene is super authentic. My father-in-law knew the owner of the Old Canteen. Very fun! read more

A group of eleven of us wild and crazy women went here last night. We split into a group of five for one room and a group of six for the second room. This worked out great because our teams played against each other as well as against the clock. LOTS of fun overall, strongly recommend it. I went here for a work team day event with my colleagues. It was SO much fun - Byron and his team were very wonderful to the whole group and the escape room itself was fantastic. This was great considering there were 10 of us making us a large group! We also decided to request the team assessment as well, which was superb! It was 9 pages long thoroughly dissecting the group's dynamic and teamwork in addition to individual assessments/reports! It was so interesting to read; it was very thought out and well written. This place is absolutely magical. I did the "La Costa Nostra" room. It's loosely based on the actual history of the RI mafia. If you have even a passing knowledge of the history of our state then you are in for a treat. Easter eggs galore. We had all the fun in the world. Thank you for a wonderful evening. I went in a group of five friends to the Murder Mystery Room. We were half determined, half just there for the experience but it was so enjoyable and would be whether you're in the camp that LOVES the challenge or just wants to have some fun. In my booking, I accidentally chose the wrong date but I had booked at 10 at night and was worried someone would take the spots we really wanted before we could get in touch with RI Riddle Room. I called, left a voicemail, and in less than 10 minutes, I received an email saying I was rebooked so amazing customer service and our game administrator was Mike who was so nice and helpful! We came here in May for a friend's birthday and chose it because of the convenience of the location. When we first arrived it was a little confusing as we accidentally parked in Blu on the Water's lot and had to move our vehicles. However we were able to stay in the same lot, just on the other side. The gentleman who greeted us when we showed up was very pleasant and patient with us, as some of our members were running a bit late. We chose to do the Murder Mystery (Clue) room and once we finally got settled in the room we were off. The great thing about this room was the size and abundance of clues. I have been in rooms that "accommodate" up to ten people which end up being a tight squeeze with not nearly enough for everyone to do. We had ten in this group, but there was more than enough for everyone! What was impressive about the clues were the variation. Without giving too much away, there were word-based clues, math clues, and puzzle clues, so there was something for everyone's talents. This worked well because team members were able to move around and help each other until we had solved the final and escaped the room. We had a great time here and thoroughly enjoyed this place. Would definitely come back to try the Mafia one! read more

My Wife and I thought this would be a fun family event to do and make a night of it. Wow, we were right! This being our first time doing an escape room, we tried the Pirates Curse. There were 10 people in our group. The oldest 55 and the youngest 20, and all ages in between. EVERYONE had fun and was challenged. Also, I really liked that everyone contributed to the success we had. I have to give the creators of this experience a lot of credit because the clues that you search for and and need to solve were very imaginative. We solved the Curse with 6 minutes remaining. Went to the riddle room last night with a group of friends because we were in the area. Went to the East Greenwich location and did the Cosa Nostra room (based on the Italian mafia). The puzzles were challenging and fun- they require a lot of communication! It was the first room we couldn't solve in the allotted amount of time! They let us finish the room though because we were very close to solving it. We wanted to do the murder mystery room to redeem ourselves, but there was a reservation at 10 pm. We were told that they have a second location in Warwick, a quick 12 minute drive from the East Greenwich location. It's brand new, so there is only one room open, but they are working to make 6 rooms. The room we did was extremely fun, probably the best one we have done. The puzzles were very engaging and clever. We were very into it. The puzzle master, Mike, was extremely friendly and funny. We had a great conversation with him about escape rooms. He was very genuine and receptive to our feedback. We will definitely go back when more rooms are open. read more

Mike and his team have several immersive rooms that flow nicely, are extremely creative, and are a good balance of fun and challenging.
