One interesting piece of local history is the building itself. We learned that in 1906, this building housed an antique market. Think about that for a moment. If someone was selling antiques here in 1906, some of those "antiques" might have been from the 1800s. More than a century later, the building is still serving visitors, although these days the focus is tacos rather than antiques. Covington itself is worth mentioning. The city has become known as Georgia's Hollywood of the South, with more than 100 movies and television productions filmed here over the years. Fans of The Vampire Diaries and Sweet Magnolias will recognize many locations around town. If you're visiting the area, there is plenty to see before or after dinner.
