My first time visiting Rice Fusion (name on sign and inside on the wall sign and menus). I'll suggest a name change edit. The location is in a strip mall, but you lose that feel inside. The entry foyer has a nice zen garden display, and is neat and clean. We were promptly greeted and seated in the small but stylish seating area. The menu was a little smaller than some prior posted menus, but still a nice variety of dishes and a selection of sushi, sashimi, and rolls. We had an appetizer of egg drop soup, which was nice with plenty of egg filaments. I ordered a General Tso's Chicken with white rice. It was very nice, good tang, and a subtle heat that grew on you. My spouse had the chicken Lo mein. Her only issue was too few vegetables in the mix. The service was good, the food was good, and the place was nice. Overall I'd say a solid four stars. I'll definitely keep Rice Fusion in mind when I travel near Dover. read more

Had a very nice experience here while visiting my sister. The sushi was extremely fresh. Loved the big chunks of salmon sashimi. My special roll was delicious and green tea was on point. Our go to Asian cuisine restaurant for eat in or take out. Food is conveniently ordered through the APP and always ready when indicated. It's nice to be able to dine in too. The decor is clean and nicely decorated with a modern feel. The waitstaff is always pleasant and service is on point. They serve alcohol too. Each dish has real flavors not masked by an over addition of salt. I love their soups. Sushi is very fresh. Overall a great Asian restaurant. read more

Yum! Just moved to the area and coming from California so craving sushi SO hard. I did some searching for reviews myself to find this place. It's located in a small Redner's shopping center so there's plenty of open lot parking but also a decent flow of traffic. My husband and I went around 11:30 and we were the only people there. By time we were asking for the check, not a single seat was empty so it does fill up! I ordered the lunch special which was 2 rolls for $11.99 and I ordered a specialty roll. I got the California, Shrimp Tempura, and Crunchy tiger roll. The Lunch special came with miso soup which was hot, flavorful, and delicious. My husband got the pork fried rice and pepper chicken. I didn't taste it but it did look great and my husband enjoyed his food. He's a huge lover of pork fried rice in particular and naturally very picky so, if he says it was good, then I believe him! New to the area and looking for a good sit down Chinese restaurant. My husband and I went here and the food a\was good I had egg Drop Soup, Chicken Chow Mein and Pork Fried Rice. Food very fresh, but very heavy on the garlic and ginger (which I could always request a little less, so that really isn't a problem), my husband had Shrimp Fried Rice as he isn't really a Chinese Food person, but he said it was good. The place is very clean though small. My only complaint is they do not serve crispy noodles so the for me is a slight issue. Good quality ingredients and well prepared food. If you like spicy, you will definitely need to request your dishes as hot or extra hot. Even when I order Szechuan Chicken extra spicy, the dish is mild (for my taste at least) and does not have any visible chilly peppers in the dish. Great service and great food for great prices! First time at Rice and tried out their Naruto Roll (cause it's Naruto so why not?) which was great. Different fish in one roll for a crazy burst of fish flavors from each roll. The Tempura Box (got shirmp) was surprisingly good and just a right amount of everything to fill you up. Tempura was done well, as well as the rest of the box dishes. Service was great and fast and we never ran out of drinks or had to ask for more (which is an A+ if you know the feeling). This was my second visit at this restaurant. Both times I did take out. I ordered wonton soup (big) and chicken schezwan. The wonton soup was very nice and the broth was delicious. There were 9 dumpling pieces in the soup. You can ask for spicy sauce to add a bit of heat to the soup. The chicken schezwan was a bit greasy and tad bit salty. Was not very impressed. It came along with a side of rice. I've had better. The place serves a variety of sushi rolls as well. They have a live chefs table. It's a small pleasant ace to done in. May be come on a date night. The staff was very friendly. I will come here again only for its wonton soup. Very tasty. Will try sushi rolls next time. read more

Quite a rude welcome from the front desk. My son, who is 15, and I went in and the greeting he got was "YES!!??" No "good morning", no "Hi, how are you?" The second question this rude man asked my son was, "You know what you want?" Not even "would you like to see our menu?" Yes my son is young and doesn't impress one as rich but this rude host should afford him with the same level of respect and courtesy that he gave to the other adult customers that came after us. This host/greeter (in his 40s and wore a gray baseball cap surely needs training on demeanor, customer appreciation and common courtesy, whether they are teens or adults, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, etc. My son ordered $77. worth of food; he surely didn't deserve that marginalizing, dismissive behavior from Rice's host. read more

Supposed to be "the best Chinese food in Dover" Well, "Best" but then "Dover" as a qualifier is sort of an oxymoron. It was mediocre which, in Dover is actually what "Best" often boils down to. I ordered chicken and broccoli with white rice (I don't like fried rice) and some soup. The rice was hard and dry--made the day before and neither the rice nor the chicken was warm enough. If you are called "Rice" you might consider taking some pride in your rice. It's not difficult! You put raw rice and water up to the line in a rice cooker and push the button. When the light shows "Done!" you scoop it out. At the end of the day, refrigerate it and use it for fried rice. Don't serve it again reheated. The chicken and broc was a small portion and it was not inexpensive. I was hungry leaving the restaurant and I am not a big eater; I eat 2 meals a day max and not large ones. At least for lunch, I'd say find a different place. read more

Went here bc it was the only thing on the way home open for Memorial Day. At first the waiters were nice however after we paid and they were unhappy with the tip they were rude. My bf paid and which they said nothing to him at the time. After we finish the meal my daughter and I went to the bathroom and on our way out was stopped. Was told the tip was not enough, I gave him more money to which he said it was okay. I guess he seen inside my wallet and told me he can break the $20 if I wanted. I stopped into Rice today intending to order a Shrimp Tempura Roll to go. Once inside, the atmosphere was so calming and relaxing that I decided to dine in. Very hot outside - but inside Rice was cool and refreshing. Ordered the green salad which came very quickly. It was presented attractively and the greens and cucumbers were very fresh. The Asian sauce which accompanied it was so good! Then along comes my Shrimp Tempura Roll which was also presented attractively. It was absolutely delicious and the price was right! Rice should be named Crunch because almost every roll we had, and we had a lot of rolls, nine in total, all had tempura crunchies in them. I ordered my "go-to" spicy tuna and it had crunchies in it - the crunchies overpowered the tuna unfortunately. I also tasted the rainbow roll and the spider roll, both were good, both had crunchies. Crunch, ahem, excuse me, Rice is good, and the locals seem to think so as well. 730 PM on Sunday the place was packed. For those that aren't of the sushi persuasion, Rice has other menu options like regular Chinese food. We had one of those non-sushi eaters among us, he ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. It was deep fried and the sweet and sour sauce was in a dipping dish in the middle. Rice may be located in a nondescript strip mall circa 1987 and put crunchies in almost everything sushi wise, but it's still good nonetheless. read more
